We enjoyed our stay and thought the hotel, although basic was value for the money we paid.

Room was basic but clean and tidy. It was good value for money, The breakfast was also value for money,

It was a pity there wasnt a lift and the bathroom was small. As an old building there was nothing that could be done about that. It did not spoil our stay and both were managable.

Really excellent value

It was dog friendly convenient staff excellent really nice to talk to helpful flexible about times. Great value especially given the financial crisis and breakfast was great.

Bed head loose t v didn’t work but think it was an Ariel issue so wasn’t a big problem.

Total waste of money, won’t be going back there

Quite shabby, decorated poorly, stains on the quilts, bed sheets were not changed from previous guests!! Didn’t stop for breakfast, couldn’t wait to get out of there! Carpets were dirty

Good budget hotel

Great location as we were performing in the theatre down the road. The restaurant next door was great, food was lovely. Staff were very nice and helpful.

Room was OK, could do with an update. The television didn't work.

Hotels are struggling , but won't unfortunately be recommending to others.

Not a lot. It was clean, but everything so dated.

Horrible smell in room, like dead mouse smell. Receptionist had been to open windows before we went in !!! Location..very noisy on main street. Limited refreshment Old fashioned. Plumbing needs serious attention...very noisy pipes .

Carl and staff have worked hard to create a fantastic atmosphere where tourists and locals can enjoy

Breakfast was tasty. We ate at the restaurant the night before. Top food. Terrific prices. Newly refurbished. The place ought to be packed every night with food and staff like that!

Our room was yet to be renovated with new mattress but it was still comfy. The owner made us feel like old friends.

Have stayed at least 6 times before and were very impressed with the updating carried out

Fully renovated rooms and dining area since our last visit 12 months ago. Friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money.

Don’t think I would use them again

The hotel was friendly and clean.

I have been charged twice for my stay and it’s getting quite difficult to get my refund back off the hotel which is very frustrating.
