Good place to stay.

The room is very nice and comfy. The everyday cleaning is a plus and the little kitchenette seems to be well equipped although we did not use. Beds very clean and comfy. The breakfast is very nice (compared to others in the area) and the location of the breakfast is nice too. I would recommend a stop even if you are not a resident of the hotel. All good if you are prepared to be in a cell with minimal view etc. Do not get me wrong but the cell as we called it is super! Looks fab and fun for kids too. Beds and towels etc all brilliant. Soap is lovely... just a silly observation as it cleans the toughest of stains....!!! I cleaned some ketchup and chocolate from my boys top in seconds. Our discomfort stems from the fact that we paid for a bigger room with view and balcony and booking.com (not the hotel - the hotel has been great) messed it up.

The room is lovely if you are ok with no balcony, veranda etc. So we had to be out all day as we were missing this. Parking: but this is not the Hotels fault. It is a general observation and it is to be expected in this area. There is a shuttle bus that can take you up and down the castle from 8am to 11pm at 1.10euros (2.20 return). Taxis are at 4 euros per ride. The city parking is free however.

Great property for very reasonable price. Also nice breakfast in very pleasant atmosphere. I must especially emphasize that the room is cleaned every day, very well and thoroughly

This accomodation and destination should be on everyone's bucket list.

The experience was one that will never be forgotten. The comfort of the room exceeded the expectation. The location and atmosphere was perfect and relaxing. Breakfast was just outside the door in a beautiful setting. The staff were friendly and inviting. A modern, upgraded facility with old charm.

The walk with the baggage on arrival. Any solution to this problem would diminish the experience and possibly minimize the charm. I'm not even sure I should put this in the "not to like" section since it helps us appreciate the modern comfort that is present today.

Great location and breakfast, good value for money.

Excellent location: right in the middle of Monemvasia but still quiet enough to have some rest and enjoy a good night's sleep. Excellent breakfast: probably the most elaborate one we've had in Greece.

The bathroom could use an update and there was a foul smell in the bathroom. The bed was a bit cramped for 2 persons (140cm), but that depends on what you're used to of course.

Superb

I liked a lot the room. It was a part from old house and was so atmospheric and comfortable. Also the breakfast was fantastic.

The location of the room was a little bit sketchy and for the beginning we didn't know we had to go at the reception which was at the center of old town.

Exceptional

The location is perfect. Nestled right in the heart of Monemvasia, but with just enough space from the main alley, that you feel a touch secluded. Handily - there is a wine bar literally right outside the door!

Very nice location within Monemvasia.

Finding rooms for a bigger family is not so easy in Monemvasia, but Ritsos has a spacious appartment that fit our needs. The rooms are clean and comfy, AC is working. There is a little track downhill that leads you to the sea and a place to swim, do not miss that. If you have never been to Monemvasia: arriving with a suitcase is no joke, there is cobblestone and steep tracks everywhere. So afterafter checking in, your suitcase is brought to Ritsos and you dont have to carry it down there (and back up).

The breakfast is nothing special. Our room had a fairly small window in the bathroom and not really space to hang several towels. Do not go to the location itsself right away, the check in is uphill on the main road of Monemvasia. We saw that only by chance, could be communicated better.

Good location. Friendly staff. Spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. Facilities were good.

Closed in shower is uncomfortable and heats up in side. Toilet seat was wobbly. Much dust under beds and on kitchen surface.

Very good

The breakfast was excellent although have to walk to another location.

Not really a dislike, just the reception was on the main street, which we missed and had to circle around the area for ages till we figured it out.

Superb

Excellent breakfast. Very rich compared to other similar places in the area. Location is unique - inside the old city, in a renovated house. The facilities in the well decorated room are nice and new. We booked a 60 Euro basic 2 persons room, and for additional 20 Euro we upgraded to family room that is larger and more convenient.

If you wish to bring your luggage to the room, expect to long walk while carrying the luggage on a rocky pavement. Better to take a smaller bag with only a few essential items.

Wonderful!

Room was adorable and very comfortable for the price. We absolutely loved breakfast at the cafe downstairs, it was really peaceful since it’s not on the main street. Staff was warm and pleasant. Probably one of our most enjoyable stays recently, can’t wait to come back here one day :)
