The stsff was good and friendly loved our house for the weekend

Our place was small and ddnt have coffee or tea which normally has to be in the house

My stay was good but it was not what I was expecting

Nothing about it was the way it was advertised

Plates were broken Linen was dirty Didn’t have enough pots and cutlery The toilet sit was not in a good shape The couch had couch cover The place looked like there’s people living there full time

Did not like it at all. The unclean apartment ruined everything for us.

It is generally a nice place. There’s lovely interior decorations.

1. Both bathrooms had no tissue 2. ⁠both bathrooms had no soap 3. ⁠Both bathrooms had no towels/mat to step on from the shower. 4. ⁠cockroaches everywhere 5. ⁠Both rooms had unclean sheets. 6. ⁠Light in the main bedroom bathroom was not working. 7. 1 bedroom had an extra blanket while the other had one (which was not aired).

Pleasant however it could have been better

The beach experience was very fun

There was no toilet paper we struggled had to go to the nearest store to get some. There was also no dishwashing liquid struggled to clean up on Saturday after lunch.

It was good, very quiet, safe and pleasant environment.

Communication of the Hoster was very good and was able to solve any challenge. he was available all the time. he made good suggestions to us so that we can enjoy our stay.

Not have water in our apartment and we had to go to other apartments to access water. he tried his best to help us but its a situation I will never like to experience again.

Was ok maybe next time I will book a different apartment.

The food was amazing, the pool/lagoon area was so peaceful 😍 loved the lounge area and games room.

No coffee, sugar in the rooms. No wifi and the geyser was off and the owner did not inform us. We only realize it's not on when we had to shower. Pillow cases was broken and curtains was very dirty 😒

The position is quite and out of business centre. Good looking buildings, around the buildings 👍 is clean, beautiful swimming pool and beach etc

Struggling to go in or out the gate, my room was not 🚫 neatly clean with old and dirty bed sheets,duvet and blanket. Cooking stove is old in such a way that you can not see whether it's on or off. No WiFi ,barbeque is not working, no DStv, not allowed to go into swimming pools area, Netflix not working, no filling station at the gate nor super market etc

It was terrible.

Nothing. The house was extremely dirty, there were dirty socks on the bed. The cups were not cleaned, the couch is old, torn and dirty. I have nothing positive to say about the place.

It’s was extremely dirty. The blankets provided smelt like they hadn’t been washed in a long time. There was no cutlery. The host stop responding to my calls at some point.

Lovely Balwin estate

No electricity on arrival. Code was delayed to be given to enter complex. Only when called when at the gate code was given. Cockroaches in unit. Poor quality and old bedding. Not clean. Thin duvets. No toilet paper. Fridge leaked. No wifi. Sofa was torn. Faulty kettle. TV remote faulty. Showers were not clean. Toilet seat broken.

The lagoon, water activity, and gym were great 👍

The apartment was a nightmare, I only stayed cause I paid in advance i didn't want to lose my money. Otherwise, I would have booked elsewhere. The whole apartment was filthy, 🪳cockroach everywhere. The sheets dirty with hair. Pots dirty, no dish liquid, and the dish cloth was like they cleaned the floor with it. Gas braai dirty gas bottle empty. The couch is black, but you could see dirt on it. Some lights were working. No wifi connection.

Unit 452 was very dirty and the smell was awful. The towels and bedding was not clean and smelling. Half of the unit did not have working lights. Owner was unavailable when electricity was off for more than 3 hours. Worst experience. When i requested my money back i was refused due to a 48 hours cancellation policy. But the unit we paid for was not the unit we got.

Worst Host

The only thing that made my weekend here was the lagoon area

The host Mulisa apartment/unit 452 block 40 was not a helpful one he had us stranded in the apartment with no power in it and not because there was loadshedding the unit itself had no power and repeatedly ignored any kind of communication with us never once apologised nor explained the situation he honestly screwed us over we had to throw out food that went bad because they needed to be in the fridge, He DID Not Care had to bother other people in their units just so we could get through the weekend, Restaurant was good staff there was wonderful the office staff also was okay our host just dropped the ball on us and the roaches in the room were not making the situation easy too

I liked the environment

The unit that we were placed in was complete different from the pics on the booking. Com and Wi-Fi did not have internet for the whole weekend , not clean full cocksoach, no tissue in the bathroom.

I'm glad I went to the blyde.

The rooms were very clean, smelled good, everything is well taken care off in the apartment....I really enjoyed my stay...my partner was so excited 😊...I'll definitely recommend the Blyde to my fam, friends and staff members. Ooh I forgot The Lagoon damn that place is so fantastic 😭😭❤💫🤏🏾.

Host mixing our room numbers which caused lot of confusion at the gate, spend close to 2 hrs at the gate trying to resolve that
