Otroligt bra läge och mycket välutrustat hus- allt som man behöver finns på plats. Toppen med ett bageri mitt emot på gatan och fantastiskt god och prisvärd mat på puben som låg 50 m bort. Enkelt att ta bussen till olika ställen runt omkring. Och flera fina vandringsalternativ runt själva Ballachulish också.
Ingenting egentligen- bara lite för mjuk säng för oss men det är ju en smaksak😊

todo. es un chalet super bonito y super buen equipado. tiene de todo y es super confortable. la cocina está totalmente equipada cion lavaplatos incluido.
el anfitrión, que no llegamos a conocer, nos dejó las llaves dentro del chalet, y la puerta estaba abierta. nos comunicamos por watsup 1 día antes del check in. todo fenomenal. super limpio, super bonito y muy cerca del valle de glencoe.
que no tiene vistas a un paisaje.......pero eso era ya pedir demasiado.

Lovely old quarry workers cottage refurbished for modern living but retaining bags of quirky charm. Perfect location opposite very good chip and pizza shop and very near to supermarket plus only 5 minutes drive from Glencoe mountains and 25 from Ben Nevis. Couldn't have hoped for better.

Everything we needed for our 4-night stay was available, even the co-op grocery store a block away and a fast-food place across the street.

The cottage is very well organised and very clean and tidy. The kitchen is very well stocked for self-catering.

Very clean and comfortable (bed was very cosy after a long day, but quite small for a couple). The cottage is homely too, well equipped and very easy to figure out how everything works. really enjoyed reading a few of the books about Glencoe too
a minor issue, but the electric heaters wouldn’t turn off even when off at the wall.. so it was cosy!

Good location, very responsive hosts, gorgeous cottage, super clean and great amenities in the home. Warm, cosy, quiet, and very romantic. A perfect place in beautiful surroundings.
Absolutely nothing wrong with the property, but January is very quiet in the area and several nearby restaurants and activities aren't open - I wish I'd checked!

The cottage is very comfortable, warm, plenty of space with a separate kitchen which had all amenities we could think of.
The whole house is squeaky clean and everything works.
A huge positive bonus for us was the decor, with interesting old photographs, paintings and other artistic elements.
The CO-OP is 2 mins walk, pub across the street and restaurant behind corner.
The fabulous Glencoe Valley is 5 mins drive away, making this cottage a great base for exploration.
We would have stayed longer, had it had been possible.
Would definitely recommend and come back myself.

Great location for the Skyline Scotland weekend. Close to Kinlochleven and no stairs for recovering afterwards! A cosy self-contained cottage.

We loved the interior and completeness. From bathroom to kitchen, everything you could need during your stay is present. The cottage is very comfortable and well maintained. The location is also great: very close to several restaurants, a bus stop, supermarket, as well as the entry to the old quarry.
Due to covid, we needed to dispose the garbage bags and take off the bed sheets ourselves, but this was understandable given the situation.

TV was a bit small and signal kept dipping. I know you don't go on holiday to watch TV but that would be my only criticism.

Absolutely amazing place ! Everything was just perfect. The cottage is spacious, very comfortable and tastefully decorated , very well equipped, spotlessly clean, situated in beautiful location. Great communication with lovely owners. We loved it so much that we've already booked another stay. Would highly recommend !

Everything! It was lovely and cosy with lots of nice touches. You could park right outside the cottage and were within walking distance of a pub/restaurant, takeaway and local Coop. We really enjoyed our stay.

The property is in an excellent location from which to explore Glen Coe and the highlands. The whole property was exceptionally clean and tidy - very comfortable with all the mod cons you could want for a short or long self catered stay. There is a lovely cafe over the road where we good a really good breakfast (including veggie/vegan options), a coop within walking distance too. The village is some very interesting history and there are plenty of leisurely walks to do in the immediate vicinity. A short hop from Glen Coe and Fort William - there are so many places to see and explore in the area we were never short of things to do! We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this beautiful little cottage, well hopefully be back and we would highly recommend it!
There was nothing not to like!
A pull out bed in the lounge might be convenient for longer stays if you have a small child or two and/or wanted to have guests for dinner and have them stay a night.

The property is located in a beautiful setting with striking mountains visible from the front door. A co-op, takeaway and restaurant are all a 5 minute walk away. The property is spotless clean, comfortable and comes with all the amenities needed for self catering including an oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The bed is lovely and comfortable and there is a little garden seating area too.
The best thing was the thought the owners have put into the decor - there are fascinating pictures and throughout the property showing glimpses of the area’s history - and the owners have utilized local slate to make lovely clocks and ornaments.
I would highly rate this property - it was a wonderful experience staying here and I would love to come again.
