Decisamente un posto "low cost"

La posizione è centrale e ciononostante la notte non abbiamo sentito rumore. La stanza offre due comodini con tre cassetti ciascuno, una scrivania, anch'essa dotata di cassetti e un piccolo guardaroba, quindi è possibile sistemare le proprie cose anziché tenerle in valigia. Per chi è interessato, è possibile utilizzare Netflix anche senza disporre di un proprio account. Gli asciugamani (uno a persona per l'intero soggiorno) sono di ottima qualità. Buona quantità di tè, caffè, zucchero e latte (ma da bere nella stessa tazza per tutto il tempo...) e possibilità di usare un frigo, un microonde e un tostapane nello spazio antistante la reception (presumo, in quanto non ci sono state date indicazioni al riguardo). Le foto mostrano anche bottigliette e cioccolatini, che nella nostra stanza non c’erano.

Il parcheggio è pubblico e gratuito solo dalle 18.00 alle 8.00 (una volta al giorno si può godere di una sosta gratuita di due ore). L'ascensore sarebbe utile quando si arriva con i bagagli. L'accoglienza potrebbe essere più calorosa, e una maggiore cura anche nell'estetica del personale darebbe una migliore impressione. Le foto fanno pensare ad un ambiente più luminoso e colorato, mentre la finestra nella nostra camera era piuttosto piccola e quasi completamente ostruita dall'edera esterna, rendendo difficile il ricambio d'aria e carente la luce naturale. Non so quanti giorni di soggiorno si debbano fare per godere di una pulizia intermedia della stanza, ma forse a quel punto bisognerebbe dotare le stanze di detersivo e spugnetta per poter lavare le tazze (tè e caffè macchiano!). Il lavello è però molto piccolo e c'erano dei capelli nello scarico. La biancheria del letto ha evidentemente subito numerosi lavaggi e stirature a temperatura molto alta, e la mia parte del letto cigolava rumorosamente. Per le temperature estive, il piumino era anche troppo spesso.

Absolutely fine for our overnight stay.

Property was quirky, in a positive way and it was absolutely fine for an overnight stay. The staff members we spoke to were very kind and pleasant.

Shower room was a little on the small side.

Cheap but not too cheerful

Reception was friendly. It was cheap and central to where I had to go.

Room was reasonable but absolutely tiny shower room, only one towel. Reasonably clean except the carpet. Downstairs reception smelt strange and dirty. No food nearby except Wetherspoon and hardly any shops open. Room was hot and a bright light right outside so didn't sleep much. Yes it was very cheap but I couldn't wait to get out. If I'd had a car with me I would have gone somewhere else.

Surprise 60th.

The location can't be beaten. Central Town. Parking out the front is Public, but free from 6pm Fri- 8am Monday. Tip* arrive just after 2pm pay for the Max 4 hrs then it's Free anyway. Also, if you want, press the Parking machine after 6pm for your 2 hrs Free Parking from 8-10 am Monday. Or any other day I presume.

Two nights of torture

Was close to where we needed to be but then so was Hitler!

Entrance full of fag butts, staff smoking in the porch way, £99 matress which bottomed out so you could feel the slats, pillows from shrove tuesday and were half inch thick, two nights with no sleep, kettle smelt bad and we just could not make tea, tree growing through window which we couldnt open as the squirrel would come in, had to open shower door to allow knees somewhere while on the loo! Walls chipped, decor old and worn, bedding flat and worn plus cold. Guests smoking out of windows, raised voices through the night from rooms. I've seen inmates in better places. Save yourself the awful experience and avoid at all cost, never again it was hell.

Really lovely room, quite big and the decorate is warm. And nice location, near the train station. However one of the pillow was a not very clean that day.

I use this hotel most weeks for work and find it a comfortable, clean and friendly place to stay.

Good central location. Clean room. Good shower. Good to have a microwave, fridge, table and chairs downstairs for guest use.

TV reception was poor. Kept losing picture. Shame because it was a good clear TV, which looked new.

It's OK

Location is the only good thing

No soap in the toilet to wash my hands The place was deserted We were told he's there 24 hours a day but we never saw ANYONE the whole time we were there.

Perfect

We needed an hotel at very short notice and we found this one. It was just what we needed, comfortable, en suite shower, tv (with Netflix) kettle with plenty of tea bags and milk and close to amenities. Also friendly and helpful staff.

The location was handy

I paid to sleep here and received no sleep during the night as they had a faulty fire alarm I have messaged their customer service who refuse to call me as its Indian based but won't resolve my issue unless I call them from an Indian number. I want a refund at this point. Stayed here with my daughter and son in law for the wedding and we attended the wedding knackered as we was up all night
