Breakfast
7.0
Comfortable beds, and in general comfortable bungalow.
Kind attention by the service.
The breakfast was good and complete.
Parking place available in the surroundings.
Quite area.
1) No fridge available, neither in the bungalow nor in general in the house.
2) No air conditioned.
3) We brought our own fan (thanks given to God, because it was extremely hot and humid weather), which was damaged by the cleaning service, once they got into our bungalow. The fan was hit by the cleaning cart, and afterwards it can not stand straight and upright by itself.

No ac but it was okay

Location was great!!
rooms too hot
7.0
The settings was idyllic and the pool area was beautiful.
The strict rules at breakfast and around the pool made the stay a little uncomfortable and lack of air conditioning in the huts made it difficult to sleep well. We were there during particularly hot weather and had a fan in the room but the huts allowed for no air to filter through and therefore they were stiflingly hot!

nice swimming pool and nature
The staff wasn’t helpful at all, we had a big problem with the bugs, but the staff always laughed and told us it’s ‘normal’, the man called me a ‘city girl’ and said he won’t help, each day we had about 10 black bugs, which aren’t ‘normal’ for me, especially because of the fact that we paid a lot of money and it wasn’t comfortable. They went inside the bungalow through the wall:/// so even closing the windows and doors wouldn’t help. What is more, to the pool you couldn’t even bring your water with you, which was very weird because it was extremely hot, they had a problem with literally everything, a lot of strict and weird rules even on breakfast. Finally, it was extremely hot inside the bungalow, we had a ceiling fan and a normal fan and it wouldn’t help at all, during the day it was 10 times hotter than outside so it was impossible to stay there. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place !!!!! Maybe if the staff was nicer than the situation would be better:)

Great location, staff are very lovely. Excellent value in an overpriced area.

Nice basic clean rooms, comfortable sleep on a firm bed. I liked how the staff were always humming and singing during breakfast, happy staff makes for an enjoyable stay. The pool was refreshing and cold a nice break from the warm ocean. WiFi didn’t really work in my room but that’s not why I’m on vacation. it worked just fine around the pool. I like how everyone has their own little bungalow and there are plenty of trees and plants and flowers all around. It was also very close to the bus stop for easy day trips. Breakfast was really good, lots of fruits and vegetables and something warm and different each day.
A refrigerator in the room would be nice but wasn’t a deal breaker.

Good location, slightly out of town (but only a short walk). Very friendly staff. OK breakfast. Nice pool and bar. Overall a pleasant stay.
These are not major dislikes. The accommodation is in cabins, and my previous experience of this style was a garden hotel in SE Spain. In contrast, those provided were on the small side and rather basic and looking a bit dated. Beds were comfortable enough and high standards of cleanliness, however. No A/C but has a big fan, but we did not need it late in the season. On account of the large areal spread, had to go to to main building for WiFi signal to be strong enough.

Soller garden is located in very close proximity to the centre and harbour of Port de Soller. It has one of the few locations in the town that isn't on the hill side so walking to the beach, bars and restaurants couldn't be easier. The entrance is very pretty and the gardens that the chalets/ lodges are set in are lovely and very picturesque. The bar area, pool and restaurant are great with lots of seating and the breakfasts are very nice considering the very reasonable price for the accommodation. The little lodges are very cute and have all the basic facilities you need. The whole place is a little budget price gem in a town with fairly expensive hotels and apartments. The Spanish staff serving breakfast, the cleaning staff in the mornings and Julian behind the bar amongst other things were really nice, very helpful and always smiling.
I'm going to list a few things here one of which is a big ish thing and the rest are small details so don't let it put you off but they are definitely worth considering. The one big thing that made us a bit uncomfortable through out our stay is the older lady who is front of house on reception. She is very abrupt on the verge of rudeness and had a totally different attitude when speaking to the German customers compared to the English. Call me old fashioned but when I work hard all year and spend my hard earned money on a well deserved holiday the very least I expect from the front of house first contact at my accommodation is a smile, a hello, a please, a thank you, and eye contact, none of which was present with this lady. As I said her attitude is totally different with the German customers which is inexcusable in my mind and this happened on numerous occasions including when we left. It had been mentioned on quite a few reviews I read before I booked so the hotel needs to address this as its letting down an otherwise lovely experience.
Only other points again have been addressed in other reviews which are the accommodation is a little tired, basic and old fashioned such as bed linen etc. but this is inline with the cost so no complaints there as its all very clean.
No air con so I'd not go in the hottest months as it was warm at the end of Sept. and we were a bit eaten by mozzies.

Excellent breakfast and location, was literally a couple of minutes from the bus stop from Palma and then another 5 mins down to the waterfront. Fantastic value for money - plenty space and we liked our little porch out the front to relax as well.
It could be revamped slightly but it might lose its charm!

great value for money! was a little worried after reading some of the reviews but my expectations were exceeded! lovely staff, lovely varied breakfast, basic but comfortable and clean rooms. location is close to the beautiful beach and harbour front with loads of restaurants etc. and 10 mins from bus stop so easy and cheap journey to the airport! would definitely stay here again :)

The breakfast was fine and the location was great but I wouldn’t stay there again we luckily booked one of only two rooms that had air conditioning as the temperature was 36 degrees and very humid obviously there is nothing can be done about that😩🥵 our room was lovely and cool and clean. The rest of the accommodation were paint peeling huts with a fan and when chatting to the people staying in them learned that most of them slept with the door open and on top of the beds🥵😩 on arrival we were given a list of tips!!!! It was in fact a list of what you can and cannot do! More of what you can’t do. You could not even bring a bottle of water to the pool you were told aggressively that it’s not allowed and if you want water you have to buy it! The plastic pool sun beds are well past their best and as they don’t provide any cushions for them are so uncomfortable you could really lie on them for a few minutes before you just give up and leave. If you try to put the sun umbrella up or down you are told aggressively that they will do it and we should ask them to do it and I quote “if you get sunburned it’s your problem “ 🤣🤣🤣🤣 the whole place is run like a military camp and breakfast is a military exercise!!!! You sit at the assigned table and go to the buffet to be given your one egg and on a small plate just in case you might overload a large plate🤣🤣 that’s kind of impossible as they give you the food!!! You are allowed one juice only!!!! They watch every move you make I actually thought they had eyes in the back of their heads?? Everything you asked for was an issue down to the number of ice cubes you wanted in your drink, two was was what they would give you and if you asked for more it was “Nine Nine” in fact most things you asked for was “Nine Nine” so would we stay there again ? Absolutely NINE NINE😩

The individual chalets were set in amazing tropical gardens, we also loved the swimming pool and the table tennis table. Breakfast food was delicious. Staff very pleasant.
Chalet was thoroughly cleaned everyday.
We didn’t like the coffee served from a machine at breakfast but you could order fresh one from the waitress and it was very good value and delicious… and always brought to the table with a smile.
Bathroom was great and spacious… but would benefit from a couple of hooks behind the door as nowhere to hang up pyjamas…

great breakfast
fan is not directly over the bed

rustic. clean. quiet location. set in an ancient olive grove - very pretty. staff generally nice. lovely pool with pool bar.
bungalows were a little tired although spotlessly clean. rather hot with no aircon - but it is august and was very good value so can’t complain. A few too many (and rather pointless) rules - no splashing in the pool-really??

clean basic and comfortable beds. Good size bathroom and surrounded by lovely trees and plants
No aircon & no basic cutlary

Nice breakfast. Great variety even ice cream one morning.
Swimming pool area. Good place to relax. Only 120 metres from bus stop. Only 10 minutes walk to the beach. I had imagined it would be a hill down to the beach, with an up hill walk back, but it is virtually flat.
It was tatty. I knew there was no air-conditioning, at with just a fan it was a little uncomfortable to sleep at night.

The Pool, the bar, the breakfast.
Excellent value.
The bungalows could do with a little more ‘tlc’
