Charles is a great host, having a lovely cottage on his own grounds. It’s in a quiet area, beautiful garden and has everything for a relaxing time.

I rarely give a 10. But this place is worth it. Charles is very welcoming and friendly. He's there to advise and help but discrete as wel so you really feel home. The house is very beautiful with stunning gardens and a lovely swimming pool area. Also very clean. The equipment of the house is incredible, I can't think at something you could need and not find. And outside you can use of the barbecue. It's perfectly located in El Valle.

Could hardly be nicer.

No breakfast included. Great location near centre of town but having a car made it ideal.

Would have appreciated some AC during the hottest part of the day but overall the climate was superb.

Perfectly wonderful & will definitely visit again.

Beautiful garden & wonderful owner. The property is really nice. The town was great, the hiking was good & plentiful, & zip lining was fantastic. If you enjoy wonderful people & adventure, it’s a definite must go.

It’s a cottage property, so hot water is what it is. But take into consideration I am a HOT water lover.

The space, the kitchen, the pool area, the garden was beautiful! Overall it was a great experience, the location was fantastic. Additionally it was thoroughly equipped with all the basics.

Nice location! Beautiful views.

We loved the location, a couple mile walk into the center, plenty of stores and restaurants. After a couple weeks of travel, it was nice to grill and cook our own meals. The views were amazing and Charley was a great host!

Not in Charley's control, but there is noise from the peacocks next door and a couple nights of rough sleep due to barking dogs.

I liked everything about this place. The host was very nice and helpful. The house is large and comfortable (everything I needed was there). My only regret is that I had to shorten my stay in this place, because there are many attractions and hiking opportunities in the area. To get there, it is worth having a rented car.

Great Stay! we were very pleased with Charley (the host) and his quick response to all our needs. lovely orchid garden a

host was accommodating and attentive. location great. kitchen well-equipped.

We were aware there were dogs onsite, but be aware there neighborhood dogs that barked in the middle of the night, and for light sleeper bring your ear plugs for goodnight rest.

Alabama Birders Thrilled

Host was excellent. He was friendly and helpful. Shared fresh veggies and Huge shrimp. Helped build a fire and cleaned up the mess. Had a bird feeder built for us to watch his local birds. Perfect English speaking. I will recommend to all .
