Neal is a cool guy and very understanding which made my stay really easy going. Eugene is chill and laid back, the staff are nice, much appreciated and thank you.

i had a single room, it was clean and overall exceeded admittedly low expectations. generally i was pessimistic after having been to a more awful downtown location. this one is better and certainly cleaner. the neighborhood is safer too. if you have a car, get a single room and gave no expectations beyond a place to sleep, you will live.
the plase IS weird, make no mistake about it. i would not go as dar as "creepy", but weird for sure. staff/resident residents hover and seem to generally use it as their house, they have a very polite and sprt of cool kid who nonetheless asks a lot of questions, and some clearly hungry starving refugee from a certain Eastern European country who asks a lot of questions about your food. Does smell of weed/cugarettes, and people take boomboxes to the shower for reasons I thankfully have not had time to determine. I will not go on, you get the picture.

Nice peaceful friendly atmosphere.
The bunk beds were uncomortable and had big divot in it. Difficult to get up and down cause so flimsy.
Kitchen was dominated by long term guests so there was little to no room in fridge for anything of my own. Cupboards too.

Like the Privacy and ability to get away from the noise and confusion in, for example, the city if too many occupants , for example.
Better and stricter discipline to the community
Issues have been discussed at length and resolved with Marsha and Roman - the house managers
And Rob Responded really well after awhile.

The people who stay there on a lease are always very rude , Will steal your property the main lady there over does her purpose she lets folks stay there that don’t have a booking there they get drunk to the point of acting crazy

The bedroom did not have a door. There was only half a wall between the bedroom and bathroom. The person in the top bunk could look over wall straight into the shower and toilet.

very spacious property with good cooking facilities. The lady who runs the hostel (Martha) is super nice and welcoming!

Friendly “host” when checked in first day.
The dorm filled with aerosol and the host sprayed air freshener throughout the night due to tenant(s) bad hygiene. Bathroom was messy and smelly. Plus there were 2 gentlemen sleeping on the couch with TV on very loud. I was unable to sleep because people were up until 3 am laughing and making noises in the kitchen 😑. I suppose quiet time 10pm to 6am didn’t apply to those folks. Rules weren’t abiding by people reside in the home...

Really far from the centre. Instead of a door to my room a plastic cape, directly to the living room. No electricity or light on the upside beds. No breackfast. This is not a hostel but a rehabilited house. Not done for travellers.

I love the ease of booking a bed and the hospitality involved. This particular house was very clean and well-kept.
I wouldn't change a thing.
