Heerlijk!

Prachtige ruimte, met smaak ingericht. Locatie is fantastisch, je loopt meteen heerlijk de prachtige tuin in. Het restaurant is fenomenaal en de service, zowel van de accommodatie als van het restaurant is zeer goed.

Soggiorno in una meravigliosa dimora storica.

È stato un soggiorno breve ma molto apprezzato. La dimora è stupenda, immersa nel verde e circondata da ulivi e vigne curatissime. Ha anche una bella piscina esterna, ovviamente circondata da alberi e cespugli fioriti. Al nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti con estrema cordialità da Sabino, che ci ha anche accompagnati a fare un interessante e molto gradito giro della tenuta, La sera abbiamo deciso di trattenerci a cena nel loro ristorante ed è stata una scelta vincente! Il simpaticissimo Francesco ci ha servito piatti estremamente gustosi e legati al territorio, accompagnati da un vino notevole. Insomma, per me il soggiorno al Cefalicchio B&B è stata un'esperienza più che positiva. L'unica pecca è che è durata solo un giorno, ma a questo porrò senz'altro rimedio in un prossimo futuro!!

Cosy historical place in a quiet location. incredibly large room, and nice grounds with big trees and a comfortable pool. Incredibly delicious restaurant (divine chef) and wonderful staff! Excellent local wines! Decided to come back for a couple more days in September)))))

Nothing can prepare you fully for how good this place is.

This place is so good that I feel I don't want to write a review. I want to keep this secret for myself and only for me for all time. But that's not fair to the lovely people who run this excellent place. If you have the opportunity, have dinner at their place and experience something unique, delicious, incredible.

Perfect!

A gorgeous tasteful family property, held by an charming intellectual couple with oodles of class. The food was excellent, the pool refreshing and the staff dog friendly. Stopping back here in just a few weeks and will buy another case of their delicious wine.

very beautiful country place, totally quiet. The pool and garden are nice. Breakfast is typical italian with a lot of sweets, but ok. There were even fresh cheese, some bread and fresh fruits.

the fruit juice at morning is really poor, too sweet and cheap. Italian has a lot of great fruits, so it would have been nice if there were some fresh orange juice or something similar.

Overall, we had a very pleasant experience, and recommend Cefalicchio for a relaxing country stay.

A lovely house in a peaceful, scenic location. The owner/managers are gracious and knowledgeable. Our room was charming, enormous, and comfortable. The owner is a winemaker and gave us an informative wine tasting. Breakfast and dinner were good but not outstanding.

Passable

Ok, trying to focus on the positives, good hot powerful shower. Had a fridge in the room. On checkout had a nice conversation with the couple running it this year, who also make the oil. We received a sample, which was nice. Breakfast was ok, although a fair few notches from the best we have had in Puglia. Location wise, it was peaceful and fairly easy to find, but I wish we had, in hindsight, stayed in or near Trani, which is a far more interesting and beautiful town than Canosa.

It is shabby and disappointing, they have changed the drive entrance so you don't get the wow factor of the side with the stairs going up, which sadly is starting to get a bit delapidated anyway. The pool was deep in the middle with a small ledge around, not ideal for my 5 year old although she managed ok, what I didn't like was that it had a very strong chemical taste in the water and loads of grit on the paving immediately around the pool which meant dirty feet as soon as you got out. The loungers looked tired too. We didn't eat at the restaurant as it had one set menu and we have children with polar opposite taste, meaning we need more choice. The room was huge but poorly executed, creaky wooden mezzanine, nowhere to sit other than the beds, bathroom as far as poss from the main bed (I nearly took a tumble down the stone steps at 3am, couldn't sleep as bed was clunky and air con rattling, along with too much light emitted from air con units). The staff were friendly but not always easy to locate and the towels didn't arrive until 6pm when we had already given up and showered using the one available in the room as we wanted to experience Trani by sunset. I personally wouldn't recommend this place until a lot more care and consideration has gone into it, the pictures are misleading and it has gone downhill (if it ever was uphill...!?). Very sad as it has so much potential.
