A ground floor, detached cottage based close to Wroxall on the Isle of Wight and sleeping two people in one bedroom.

The Gate House is a characterful, single storey property close to the Isle of Wight village of Wroxall. It provides a king-size bedroom and a bathroom and can sleep two people. The interior also comes with a kitchen and a living/dining room with a woodburning stove. To the outside there is off road parking and 300 acres of surrounding woodland. The Gate House is a cosy retreat for couples wanting to explore this wonderful island.

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot available (please bring own cot linen). Ample off road parking. 300 acres of public parkland surrounding property. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 15 mins walk.

Town: This village is two miles from the coast on the Isle of Wight, Wroxall has a gastropub and a shop. It also offers a Donkey Sanctuary and the historic Appuldurcombe House. Ventnor is short drive away and offers a range of amenities, botanical gardens and a beach. The island is 25 miles wide, you can easily visit the Isle of Wight AONB and the Hamstead Heritage Coast.

We need a base for a weeks holiday to give us time to explore the island and the gatehouse did just that set in teriffic ground with true room to breath
