comfortable, convenient, very quiet -- and thank you for the complimentary wine!

modern furnishing, functional, exactly 10 minutes walk from Old Town (the touristy bit), but also in the middle of a very quiet residential neighbourhood, with grocery stores nearby. nice little private terrace

not sure I can point to any downside!

Great accomodation and amazing host. Perfect solution for west side visit of the island.

Very good accomodation. The house is fully equipped, new and really clean, nothing is missed. The owner is great. Vangelis is an amazing host, always available for advices or to solve any kind of problem. Position is perfect for visiting west part of the island.

Superb

Everything was perfect. We felt like home. Clean and very comfortable. Our little boy said we are at our new house.I will definitely recommend to friends and those who want to visit Crete.

Modern, clean and comfortable apt., near Old Town, with on-street parking.

This apt. is modern, clean and comfortable, tastefully decorated. The owner has made a real effort here. Air conditioning was appreciated because it was hot during our stay. The washing machine (with English guide!) was appreciated for the same reason. There is cooking equipment, dishes, etc. which we didn’t use. Two sofas provide comfortable seating. On-street parking close by, easy to find. The apt is on the upper level of a 2-story building with outside stairs. There’s a small table and chairs outside on the walkway in front of the unit, to watch the world go by. It’s an easy 12-15 min. walk to Old Town and the harbor with lots of restaurants and shops. We felt safe walking back at 11 pm (keeping eyes & ears open as in all cities) although few people were around. We’d happily stay here again.

There’s not much in the neighborhood which is not a complaint. Maybe a coffee shop a couple of blocks away. Just to be aware you have to go closer to the harbor area to find places to eat or shops.

Lovely, modern apartment.

A very modern 1 bedroom apartment with a living space, kitchen and bathroom. Lovely decor, very comfortable and clean! Very nice host who left us with delicious pies and a wine bottle upon entrance. He also can provide you with information about Crete.

The only downfall I would say could be the location. It is around a 15min walk from the port of Chania. Which is obviously still very doable.

perfect appartment with everything you need. only 10 min walk from the center. we liked that we werent staying in the center because its very loud there. here it was quiet ☺️ the owner was super friendly and made us feel at home right away

Wonderful host, wonderful apartment, wonderful location.

Vasilis is such a wonderful host. We were greeted late at night as our flight was delayed from London. He greated us with some homemade Cretan treats, which were delicious. The apartment itself was so well equipped, we had everything we needed to cook breakfast before heading out. We hadn't hired a car for our week on Crete, the apartment was perfectly located, not far from the old town/harbour, and a 10 minute walk from the bus station, which connects you with the rest of the island. Would 100% recommend staying here. Thank you Vasilis!

Fantastic - highly recommended.

Vaggelis was very kind and helpful. We felt very welcome. The spinach pies made by his mum were absolutely delicious. Good facilities and a short walk into the centre of town, perfect for not having to drive too close. Nice big shower.

Very good

Really nice property, well located within short walking distance of the main centre. Host was good. Rooms decent size and working AC. You can tell the property was recently renovated. Would stay here again.

Bathroom could of been slightly bigger. No idea how to use the electric cooker. (Instructions would of been helpful)

Excellent

Everything was perfect, our apartment was new, spacious,well decorated and clean. The apartment is fully equipped with all the daily things you could need. Location is great, within walking distance to centre while being close to the main roads and located in a calm area. We could always find parking places around the block. Overall a great stay and exceptionally nice and friendly hosts. We definitely recommend Chania Design Suites.

Great self contained apartment with everything you could need

We loved this apartment. Everything that you could possibly need was in the apartment. Perfect location, just a 10min walk to the center of chania. When we arrived the host had left a bottle of wine for us, and his grandmother had cooked us spinach and feta pies, we had had such a long day and this little act really put a smile on our faces.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME

What a lovely surprise. Excellent apartment, brand new and offering superb facilities making you feel like staying at the 5 star hotel. The place is run by most hospitable host Vangelis who makes sure you have everything you need. Just a few steps to the old town center which is very handy. Highly recommended!

Consider yourself fortunate if you can stay at Chania Design Suites.

Chania Design Suites offers the most friendly and comfortable accommodation one could ask for. The owner is very hospitable and helpful. He gave us a number of options to visit in the city. Our Suite was clean and very comfortable. There are all the amenities, including a balcony overlooking a quite road. We were there for only 2 nights, but upon leaving, felt like we were leaving family, wanting to return as soon as we could. Also, it is in a great location in walking distance from the old town. We have no hesitation in recommending this place. We would most happily stay there again

Lovely stay!!

What a tasteful property. From the very first moment, vaggelis the home owner was welcoming and really helpfu during the whole stay. The apartment was well located just few minutes walking distance from a large variety of places (restaurants, cafes, shops etc) Overall I would highly recommend Design Suites for families or couples. Thank you for a great experience
