swiss country experience

the rural localization and the parking lote was superb. The hospitality of the employees was amazing and they gave an upgrade of the bedroom. I selected a last minute room with a shared bathroom and they gave me a bedroom with a private wc.

Its an old place so so it has little sound isolation. If you have a light sleep this can be tricky but for me it was fine. Beside that, in this rural place there is no noise outside. Its super quite. the heating system was turn off during the night

Good location but watch your payment.

Good location for Zurich airport. Quiet country setting.

Very poor accounting. Despite showing the owner that Booking.com had already charged the fee of CHF 79.20 to our credit card, she insisted we pay her CHF 84.20 claiming she had not received any payment. She subsequently realized her error and refunded CHF 79.20 but also made another charge of CHF 84.20 at the same time. She refuses to admit to this additional charge. Consequently, we have paid twice for our stay. I will have no choice but to dispute the last charge with VISA and with Booking.com.

Superb

Lovely country setting, peaceful and quiet. very friendly hosts . had a washing machine and coffee, tea And croissants laid out.

I made the booking quickly and didn’t realise it was more a boarding style accomodation. But great value for money, we just needed an overnight stay , was completely satisfactory .

Nice owner, quiet location, historical house, great facilities!

The owner was very nice to talk to. The facilities offered everything we needed and it was very clean. We had a comfortable stay at a quiet location. I would book it anytime again when I am in the area. Highly recommended!

Superb

Pension Geerlisburg was the perfect place to rest on our arrival in Switzerland, a little more than 5 minutes from the airport by taxi, but really "in the countryside" There is small woods nearby, good for a short hike. Watching planes and seeing the mountains from the terrace was a treat. This was the beginning of a 2 week trip by train, thanks to the Gerbers for getting us to our first station in Kloten and for pointing out the A380 taking off

Nothing disappointed us about the Pension, travelling by car might have been easier access.

Lovely people, great place for a quick flight stopover.

Extremely friendly staff. Hotel in an excellent spot for walks and fresh air and yet only 15 minutes taxi from Zurich Airport. It shared the building with a Restaurant that had an outdoor eating terrace with a fantastic view. In addition to the in-room shower/toilet there was a shared shower, bathroom that was large and ultra clean. Liked the nepresso type machine and biscuits available for the tenants.

The room was a rather small - the "bathroom" was was not a room but basically a part of the bedroom separated by a divider that did not reach floor to ceiling and the sink & counter space were minimal. It would have been a great room for one, but was somewhat small and under-equipped for two. We didn't consider it a problem but more of a surprise considering the care and quality with which the place was furnished.

Great location, panoramic view. Nice welcome. Note that you need a car (or a bike!) to get there, and to get to the city. Traffic in the city is, however, let's call it benignly: complicated.

In a quiet location, yet close to airport. Parking space free. Staff recommended a very good local home-delivery pizza/kebab place to me. Comfortable king-size bed.

Great, quiet place outside the hustle and bustle of the city, at the same time not far from the high

Great, quiet place outside the hustle and bustle of the city, at the same time not far from the highway. We deliberately chose cheaper accommodation because we got up early and only returned in the evening. It met our requirements, ascetic and at the same time cozy hotel, with beautiful views from the windows. Nice owner!

Extremely clean and well arranged

The staff was very friendly, the facilities extremely clean. There was a small bar with free coffee (very delicious) and water. Great surroundings for walking or jogging. We are definitely staying there again
