Holiday home on the outskirts of Torrox, in the province of Malaga, Andalusia.
The fabulous location of this holiday home, high on a hill, allows you to enjoy its magnificent surroundings, as well as the dreamlike views of the valley below. The Mediterranean Sea peeking out from behind the hills adds a particular charm.
The house is spread over two floors and is characterized by the most exquisitely Andalusian decoration: terracotta floors, wooden furniture and a warm atmosphere are the ideal ingredients for an authentic holiday in the Torrox hills. The charming living room is equipped with two sofas and a fireplace that warms the atmosphere when necessary; A dining table is also located in this room, next to the large windows that allow light to flow throughout the room. Near the living room, there is the independent kitchen, whose kitchenware is ideal for preparing tasty delicacies.
The villa has four bedrooms. Three of these are located on the same floor as the living area, and all have an ensuite bathroom with a shower. Two bedrooms have a double bed each, while in the third bedroom, you will find two single beds. Another bathroom with a bathtub is at guests' disposal on the ground floor.
The fourth bedroom of the house is located on the upper floor: it has a double bed, two single beds and an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub, as well as a spectacular private terrace with views that will leave you breathless.
The bedrooms are equipped with hot/cold air conditioning.
The fabulous terrace occupies the entire outdoor area and you can access it from the living room. Here, you will have at your disposal a charming outdoor dining room, which allows you to enjoy your meals accompanied by views that you will hardly forget. On one side of the terrace, there is a brick barbecue, while on the opposite side, you will find the impressive private pool. To get to the latter, you will have to go down two steps. Once here, you will completely relax, both in its cool waters and in the sun loungers that surround it. Whichever way you choose to spend your vacation in this house, you will leave with your batteries recharged.
Access to the house is possible via a 400 meter dirt track, and the house is located about 6 km from the main road (A-7207).

Estuvimos 15 dias y la verdad , es que descansamos mucho el lugar es muy tranquilo ideal para desconectar, la casa esta genial superquipada con todo lo que se necesita tiene de todo hasta batidora.......
La ubicación es espectacular desde la casa se ve el mar , es cierto que te limita un poco si quieres salir de noche, ya que tiene un tramo de carretera de tierra que no nos gustaba recorrer de noche.
Los propietarios son encantadores y están siempre dispuestos para ayudarte si lo necesitas, hacían el mantenimiento de la piscina y no nos enterábamos.

Hay que tener en cuenta que la casa esta totalmente aislada de Torrox pueblo (10-15min) primero se sube un puerto de montaña de curvas y luego te metes por un camino sin asfaltar donde solo entra un coche.
El lugar muy tranquilo y en plena naturaleza. El sol da todo el día, la piscina grande y la casa también. Las coberturas en la casa son inestables y el wifi solo funciona en la parte de abajo.

Waren im Juni 3 Wochen in der Casa. Die Anfahrt war problemlos von der Hauptstraße nur ca.1km Schotterweg zur Casa Mavi. Das Haus war sauber und es war alles da was man zum täglichen Bedarf braucht. Der schöne Pool auf der oberen Ebene liegt den ganzen Tag in der Sonne und ist somit super warm. Es könnten ein wenig mehr Schattenplätze oben sein, wir waren zu dritt bei mehr Personen wird es mit Sonnenschutz eng. Ein wirkliches Manko war leider die W-Lan Verbindung auf der oberen Ebene , war so gut wie nicht vorhanden .Die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Salvador hat wie ein guter Geist mehrmals Wöchentlich in den frühen Morgenstunden den Pool gereinigt und sonstige Sachen erledigt ohne das wir Ihn gehört haben. Wir hatten Erholsame 3 Wochen Urlaub.

Just what we needed
The villa had everything we needed, including spare bedding, washing machine, fully stocked kitchen. Welcome was good and taken to the villa. Stunning setting, lovely and quiet, but would advise drivers to be confident as road to the villa was very twisting and then dirt track for a Km. we will be booking again for next year. Owners left us free range eggs and their own grown avocados. The villa and grounds were spotless, the pool was a good size and had great views down to the sea.

Wat een prachtig huis op een fantastische locatie zeg! Heerlijk zwembad, alles keurig schoon, lekker ruim in huis en van alle gemakken voorzien, buiten een open haard voor de koele voorjaarsavonden. Heel de dag de zon, dus ligging is ook perfect. Binnen 15 minuten sta je op het strand. En Maria en Salvador zorgen ervoor dat het je aan niets ontbreekt. Top!

Geweldige eigenaren die op alles reageren. Het uitzicht; het huis op zich met heerlijke besloten buitenruimte om te ontbijten of te bbq-en, of gewoon als buiten open haard te gebruiken. Prima 3 slaapkamers en badkamers. Bovenruimte is enorm en maakt indruk. Wat een ambiance en uitzicht. Binnen goed te verwarmen met een grandioze haard en gaskachel. Zo lief van de eigenaren dat ze je verrassen met eieren, avocado’s en sinaasappelen uit eigen boomgaard.

Der Mai war sehr schön dort weil dann vieles blüht. Die Finca die wir jetzt hatten ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Es war alles sehr sauber und gemütlich und der Pool war eine Wucht. Die Eigentümer waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Los dueños encantadores, y a la casa no le falta de nada! Mis hijos estuvieron encantados y todos teníamos mucha pena de irnos, lo recomendaría a cualquier persona, y puede que incluso repitamos la experiencia!!! Muchas gracias por todo !!

Para llegar hay unos 600 metros de camino de tierra desde la carretera que lleva al pueblo de Torrox donde encuentras supermercados y otros establecimientos para poder hacer compras. En Torrox Costa, a unos 15 minutos de la casa hay Mercadona, Lidl, etc... Tienes muy cerca maravillosos pueblos imprescindibles de ver como Nerja, Frigiliana, Cómpeta...pero da hasta pereza salir de esa casa porque el espacio de la piscina es un pequeño paraíso!!! Esperamos volver el próximo año.

Mooie en zeer ruime villa met mooi uitzicht over bergen richting zee. Torrox dorp en Torrox Costa (goed verzorgd strand met boulevard en winkelgelegenheden) zijn relatief dichtbij. Eigenaren waren zeer hartelijk en droegen zelfs zorg voor ontbijt voor de volgende ochtend ('s zondags).
Het zwembadgedeelte is hoger gelegen en ook erg ruim opgezet, voorzien van verwarmde douche en een aparte toiletgelegenheid. Zeker een aanrader!

En el punto de encuentro con los propietarios máxima puntualidad, el camino a la casa me lo imaginaba peor porque son caminos de piedras pero es un buen camino, amabilidad total de los propietarios nos explicaron todo y muy cercanos ya que nos ayudaron cuando vino a limpiar la piscina y nos trajo un parche para la colchoneta. La casa tal cual como en las fotos, sin duda repetiremos.

Das Haus ist herrlich gelegen und mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht. Für Familien mit größeren Kindern super geeignet. Sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der Pool ein Traum!

Da wir auf Grund unseres sehr frühen Fluges zeitig in Torrox waren und die Koordinaten vom Haus hat
Da wir auf Grund unseres sehr frühen Fluges zeitig in Torrox waren und die Koordinaten vom Haus hatten, wollten wir uns dieses vorab schon mal anschauen bzw. auch den Weg dort hin finden. Auf Grund der Koordinaten und unseres Navi's haben wir das Haus schnell gefunden. Der letzte Kilometer geht über eine teils enge Schotterpiste die kein Problem darstellt wenn man langsam fährt. Am Haus angekommen haben wir Maria und Salvatore natürlich noch bei der Reinigung überfallen. Sie haben uns jedoch auf das herzlichste begrüsst und uns angeboten unser Gepäck auszuladen und uns am Pool breit zu machen. Wir bekamen auch sofort eigene Mangos und ein Begrüßungsbier angeboten. Nachdem wir uns am Pool von unsere Anreise erholt hatten haben uns Maria uns Salvatore alles gezeigt und erklärt. Beide sprechen nur spanisch, aber irgendwie versteht man sich doch. Das Haus liegt wunderschön am Südhang etwas oberhalb von Torrox Pueblo in den Bergen. Man hat einen tollen Blick auf das Meer. Das Haus und die Aussenanlage ist grosszügig bis riesig. Das Haus und die Küche sind mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Vor allem war alles sehr sauber, so kannten wir das bisher nicht aus Spanien und Italien. Zum Einkaufen fährt man am besten nach Torrox Costa, dort gibt es die bekannten deutschen Discounter und einige lokale Supermärkte (SuperSol, La Plaza, Mercadona). Wer frischen Fisch und Meeresfrüchte mag, dem sei die Frischfischtheke von Mercadona ans Herz gelegt. Unbedingt die Cueva de Nerja, die größte Tropfsteinhöhle Europas besuchen. Ein Besuch lohnt sich in fast allen naheliegenden Ortschaften und Stränden. Neben Torrox Pueblo hat uns Competa am besten gefallen. Frigiliana ist auch sehr schön, aber touristisch sehr überlaufen ebenso wie Nerja. Wer wie wir ein Krankenhaus braucht fährt am besten ins ca. 16km entfernte Torre del Mar.

Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr sauber und der Poolbereich, die Aussicht sowie Land und Leute waren fantastisch!!!!

Wir haben in der Finca in Torrox eine wunderbar erholsame Zeit verbracht. Die Finca ist sehr gepflegt und liebevoll und bestens ausgestattet. Man kann sich wie zu Hause fühlen. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, man ist völlig ungestört, so dass Entspannung garantiert ist. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es einige interessante Sehenswürdigkeiten. So lohnt sich z.B. ein Ausflug in das Bergdorf "Frigiliana", nach Nerja zum "Balcon de Europa" oder zu den Tropfsteinhöhlen in der Nähe von Nerja.
Auch ein Ausflug nach Granada und zur Alhambra gehörten für uns zum absoluten Pflichtprogramm. Durch die gute Infrastruktur des Straßennetzes benötigt man dorthin nur ca. 1 Stunde. Auch Malaga selbst war mit der neuen Hafenanlage, der tropischen Parkanlage und der abwechslungsreichen Altstadt (Alcazaba; römisches Theater, Kathedrale, schöne Bebauung mit einem gelungenem Mix aus Alt und Neu) eine echt positive Überraschung.
Wer allerdings für einen entspannten Strandurlaub an die Costa del Sol reist, wird wahrscheinlich eher erschreckt sein über die durchgehende Betonklotzbebauung unterbrochen durch die 4-spurige Küstenstraße, gefolgt von der 6-spurigen Autobahn. Die quasi durchgehende Küstenbebauung wird noch übertroffen durch die intensive Landwirtschaft und die damit einhergehende gewaltige Folienzeltflächen. Generell waren wir auch im weiteren Umfeld von Malaga etwas entsetzt über die Auswirkungen des massiven Wassermangels, der selbst viele angestammte Bäume und Pflanzen verdörren lässt. Landschaftlich wirkt die Gegend um Malaga recht trist und Grau- und Brauntöne überwiegen. Die Berge sind größtenteils unbewaldet, höchstens wild bebaut mit Fincas.

Total heaven! The house, the owners, the hospitality and helpfulness, the area..the location (you do need a car as it’s a long steep ride but we love our privacy!)! Can’t fault it on anything! This was the best holiday ever! After this I went on an all inclusive in Turkey which was hell! We will definitely be back with the whole family next time! Jos & Martine
