About this bed and breakfast

The historic North Idaho Inn is located in the heart of beautiful downtown Coeur d' Alene. All the rooms have been remodeled with modern upgrades and charming decor while providing an exceptionally clean and comfortable space. We are located within walking distance to restaurants, shopping and local attractions. This room is furnished with a full size memory foam mattress bed and a private bath. Amenities include free WiFi, Roku TV, free parking, keyless entry, refrigerator, coffee maker and a microwave in select units.

Our location is just a short walk to restaurants, pubs, art galleries, shopping and local attractions including Tubbs Hill and pristine Lake Coeur d' Alene. Book a stay with us and you'll find your activities are endless with access to hiking and biking trails, beaches, ski resorts, golf courses, water parks, amusement park, shopping, fine dining and cultural events. The summer brings beautiful days and nights to enjoy outdoor dining, farmers markets and live music events in the downtown parks.

For outdoor enthusiasts, we are within minutes of the Centennial Trail, Canfield Mountain and just a short drive to the famous Hiawatha Trail and Trail of the Coeur d' Alene. Other attractions close by include Silverwood Theme Park and The Coeur d' Alene Casino which are easily accessible from I-95. Our location has easy access from I-90 and only a 40 minute drive from the Spokane Airport.

We loved the location. We especially enjoyed the backyard patio area. It was a nice cool spot to relax in the evening. I also enjoyed having a separate sitting room in our room. Not crazy about the air conditioner, but most motels have a similar one.

Jen (owner) is extremely responsible and clearly takes great pride in the ownership of this property. I definitely would consider staying here again for future visits. Property was always super clean and it has an epic outdoor seating area, which was perfect for reading or having lunch. There are a lot of restaurants nearby (walking distance) and a bike shop right across the street. Super safe area and I felt completely comfortable biking and running solo around the area. My only pieces of critical feedback: • Wi-Fi sometimes stopped working during “peak hours” (aka when a lot of guests’ devices were tapped into it). I have hotspot on my phone, so easy solve for me.. but could be problematic for others. • Shower’s hot water was hit/miss. Again, I think this depended on if it was peak hour times or not. I was staying when the property was fully booked, so perhaps that had something to do with it. I would say that half of my showers were able to have hot water and the other half only was able to get around lukewarm temp. • I stayed here solo, so the room size and bed size worked well for me. It would have been too cramped (for my preference) to have a second person in the room or sharing the bed.

This location was perfect. Less than a mile walk to downtown and great places to eat and drink close by. Very clean and comfortable.

Very clean and cozy room. Had a microwave, little refrigerator, and plenty of coffee. Just minutes from downtown CDA. Extremely happy with my stay!

The offerings were minimal-meaning-hardly any furniture to support luggage, no closet, no place to put anything except on the bed. It was clean and convenient.

This clean and updated inn is quaint and a great place to stay. There are wonderful local eateries within walking distance. You can also walk to the shopping and lake area in 15 minutes. Wonderful property

Very clean and comfortable. Location is great, close to lake, downtown etc. Sent text to manager with a question, received fast reply. Really liked that after I made reservation/paid, I received email providing room number and door lock code. Very convenient not having to go into office and fill out registration (has any hotel ever verified a license plate?) and carry around key cards. I was in town for one night on business and this was perfect. Easy in and out and close to what I wanted and needed. Nice updated decor and furnishings. Would definitely go back.
