Hidden Treasure in Caioba Beach!

My wife and I are from Texas and visited Villa Caioba January 1st of 2020 for two nights. We were extremely impressed with the property, staff and cleanliness of this incredible Bed & Breakfast. We had the chance to spend time with the hosts and staff. They were unbelievably caring and were meticulous about details and cleanliness of the property. The place has several theme rooms and we got to visit all of them. Extremely romantic, tropical and exotic property located very close to the beach, two blocks. We had a little bit hard time finding it as the city has changed the street addresses around that area, but calling the staff, they were very attentive in telling us how to get there. The trip from Curitiba to the property was about an hour of a beautiful drive through the Mata Atlantica (Atlantic Forest). It drops from about 3,000 feet altitude in Curitiba to sea level in about an hour. Breakfast was full of healthy tropical fruits, juices, breads, cold meats and a little Brazilian style cuisine. Most rooms offer exit to a veranda giving a spectacular view of a garden or mountain giving a special touch to the rooms. they were also very elegantly decorated, extremely clean and beds were extremely comfortable (important to my wife and I). Rooms are also air conditioned and the property is brand new and meticulously cared for. Great pool and a full bar. They provide great parking next to the property, which is an important issue in the area where so many go visit and parking can be a challenge. The place is really a romantic getaway, hammocks, fountain, pool, game room, bar and an impressive tropical setting. Lots of great restaurants at walking distance, some by the beach. Casa do Camarao was one of our favorites as well as Porto Campelo ( an absolute must if you are visiting the area). On and all, it was worth going to Caioba for a couple of days. Got a lot of rest and enjoyed food and the beautiful beach in the Parana coast so close to Curitiba.

The only thing we didn't really care for was the rain. It kinda ruined our beach time, but the property and the restaurants made it all worth the getaway. The hosts have traveled around the world and are very experienced in providing an excellent guest experience.
