Ottimo compromesso

La posizione è ottima, vicinissima alla stazione. La stanza è pulita. L'aria condizionata è a pagamento, come specificato in descrizione, ma col ventilatore io mi sono trovata bene e non ho avuto caldo. Il proprietario è gentilissimo e la colazione davvero ricca e soprattutto tipica srilankese.

Good place to stay, kind and helpful family

The location was good for it was close to the train station. The breakfast was half sri lankan, half continental. I liked it. The family is very kind and helpful. They have a very beautiful terrace where you can spend some time at fresh air.

Boa relação qualidade/preço

Localizacao excelente: a mrnos de 10mnts da estacao de comboios e de autocarro. A 15mnts da entrada do forte. Perto de restaurantes e pequenas padarias. Possui um terraço grande muito agradável. Há internet no quarto. Pequeno almoco com custo acrescido (850LKR) mas generoso e bastante bom. Funcionarios sempre disponiveis e muito amáveis.

Internet é um pouco lenta. Ouve-se o barulho dos comboios, principalmente durante a manhã, mas para nós não foi um problema. Limpeza será um ponto a melhorar.

A very pleasant convenient stay. Nice spacious property. Good value.

Very nice spacious property, convenient. 10-15 mins walk to Fort. Big room, clean & well equipped.

Staff were pleasant, but I missed that personal touch especially as I am a solo traveler. Just showed you room & then didn’t really see them.However easy to contact if you needed anything.

Ok for one night. A bit overpriced for solo travelers

The family is really nice and the place is located very close to the train and bus station, which is very helpful. Breakfast was good and for me definitely enough :)

The room was a bit smelly, there were ants in the bathroom. The light switch is on the other side of the room which is an inconvenience. In general it’s fine for one night, but I wouldn’t stay there longer. I paid for room for two, but was solo traveler, so for this quality for one person was a bit overpriced.

Okay but rooms too dark

Friendly family, big breakfast, spacious room

Room is dark, only a small window with grille, the trains in the night honk pretty often and pretty loudly - didn't sleep well, bed is not that comfortable (slippery surface)

Gunstig gelegen ruim appartement

Heel grote kamer met eigen ingang. Op korte loopafstand van trein- en busstation, fort Galle en winkels/ supermarkt.

Het appartement heeft een keuken, maar deze heeft op een koel/vriescombinatie na weinig te bieden. Zo is er bevoorbeeld geen koffie/thee faciliteit, geen magnetron en geen kookgelegenheid. We meldden dit bij de eigenaar, die onder het appartement woont, en kregen toen een inductieplaatje. Maar deze bleek niet te werken.

Mediocre overall

Very mediocre overall. There is a locked door between the rooms and the reception which seems dangerous for safety reasons (in case of fire for ex) and the personal (except of the cleaning lady who was very sweet and profesionnal) was not welcoming. The AC is not included in the price and the price is well over what it's worth seen as the guest house is 15min walk from the fort.

Great location. Own entrance to rooms and a nice lounge area with couches and tables on the balcony. Would happily have spent another night or 2 there if time allowed. I loved the extra lights around the bed. Very cool. Having a fridge was a bonus. Reasonable price and friendly family.

Very cool spot

This is a really cool place. It’s in the heart of Galle but tucked away. Everything is close. Rooms are big and clean. I really liked it.

Lovely family. You get a key for you own entrance, so you can come and go without going through the family’s home.

The bed sheets were stained. The bed had ants, so I had to sleep on top of the sheets. There was hair on the floors and in the bathroom. It just needs a better clean. They have A/C but it comes at an extra charge, which is normal in Sri Lanka, so be aware.
