PERFECT GET AWAY

Wooden Villa (2pax) - this is a traditional 'Kampong' Villa set in a private estate of 5 villas - the 'wooden' villa is closest to the pool - first and foremost, the site manager Eddy is an exceptional host who truly goes out of his way to help with every little detail (from transport assistance to restaurant suggestions - just ask, he's so friendly) - secondly, the villa kitchen is fully equipped for 'self service' stays albeit a bit rudimentary - the location is quiet and relaxing, the pool is good, the bed is comfy, the shower is good, and both aircon and wifi are good - the villa balcony is perfect to sit with a glass of wine or beer and just read a book !! - if you want a value for money 'get away break' you couldn't find better on Langkawi

there are monkeys in the adjoining forest plot - do not feed or encourage them - they are fun to watch but are also little thieves !!

Astonishing villa in the beauty of Langkawi nature

Alamanda Villas are amazing. We can definitely recommend the Malay traditional houses. The place is calm and peaceful. If you are looking for a place to slow down without the typical touristic noise and stuff than go for the villas. You can experience the beautiful nature. It felt like a private stay as there are just a few other villas there. The infinity pool and the whole compound are great. Eddy, the host, was formidable. He arranged everything for us and was always helpful even beyond our stay at Alamanda.

The serenity of the place....specially the view from the villa

No breakfast for the guests, secondly, we were on the top of the hills so grab drivers doesnt want to climb up the hills while picking and dropping. If you have cars then YOU should plan to go there.

Superb

Such a great escape from the hustle and bustle. Beautiful tranquil place which lets you feel like you are the only ones there. Easy to grab food delivery and the most helpful staff Saidi even took us to the shops. Loved watching the wildlife from our balcony. Would love to come back one day.

Memorable and exceeded expectation

We loved the calm and quiet environment. It was like the whole place belongs to us. The birds chirping and the owners cat came to visit us once in a while. It was a lovely feeling. The pool with overlooking nature view is a plus. We checked in on my wife birthday. They surprised us with a birthday cake, and welcome chocolate. It is so thoughtful experience. Saidi was there to welcome us, passes us the key and gave a brief about the villa. Very attentive and helpful. The villa is complete with all the basic necessity as a self catered stay.

quite. beautiful view around villa. person in charge was switching on the air cond before we arrive.

lizards too many. many dust on the mosquito net. many ants was hiding under the cafe tray.

Superb

Lovely little lush oasis in the middle of Langkawi. Our villa was small but very well equipped. The hammock on the balcony is a great touch for the evenings. Lovely shared pool area. Not too many people staying in the villas so feels small and personal. Would recommend if you're looking for a secluded oasis.

The monkeys are a bit nasty but they're hardly around. Lots of lizards in accommodation. This was fine for us but might deter some people.

You need a car for excursions as this location is not really close to restaurants or other places, but thats really the only drawback. Its amazing here

Beautiful location, great stay, Eddie was beyond helpful!

The location was great, really peaceful. Still easily able to get about the island. Saidi (Eddie) was amazing, couldn't have been more helpful, sorted us out with anything we needed, made the stay very easy. I would happily stay there again!

Peaceful getaway

we stayed in the hilltop villa which was absolutely spectacular, with stunning views of the sunset. The pool area was clean and tidy and the whole resort was well maintained. We didn’t have any transportation, and even though the villa was remote we coped well with Grab Food. Eddy in particular was a star ⭐️ and most helpful throughout our stay. We will definitely be recommending it to our friends and family.

I need another holiday to stay again

Terrific ! Lovely host and perfect environment to take a break from busy city . I could watch the beautiful sunset while having dinner at villa.

Got attacked by the monkeys which understandable because you kinda stay in jungle😅😅😅

1. Very friendly staff. Thank you, Eddie! He was ready to help in satisfaction of our every need. 2. Villa was staffed by many thing your need, including corkscrew and iron with the board. Brilliant! 3. Very green and beatiful territory.

A piece of paradise

Loved everything at Alamanda. It is such a beautiful, relaxing place centred around the stunning nature of Langkawi. It's in the middle of the island and so has lush palm trees and flowers that you can admire from the amazing infinity pool. Eddi welcomed us on arrival and was really helpful. Even though we didn't have a car/scooter, we managed to get Grabs easily both for taxis and food. There isn't a lot around but for us that was part of the appeal to have some time to unwind in nature. The villas are really nice and have everything you could possibly need. Free water, biscuits coffee and tea was really helpful too.

It was comfortable for use by a family

The fact that the wild monkeys were such a nuisance especially at breakfast when we had it on the veranda. They were aggressive and approached us with no fear, baring their teeth

Lovely location. Super staff - Aliff could not have been more helpful. Lovely little infinity pool. Well equipped little villa. And the odd visit from a troop of garden monkeys to liven things up from time to time (don’t feed them…). Would really recommend this as a base to explore the island of Langkawi.

Shower didn’t have hot water - didn’t bother us but might some. Our villa was the one next to the road - again, didn’t worry us, the road isn’t hugely busy, but might some.

The person who gave us the keys was extremely helpful but it’s the location and place that I’m disappointed with

Place is way too far from the beach and when I requested a refund they refused. We lived with lizards and insects and monkeys

It is very quiet and peaceful. The villa was very comfortable and well-equipped. Aliff was very proactive in ensuring our safe arrival and provided a lot of useful information on getting food and going around Langkawi. There's easy access to food (with a car).

I liked the little touches of hospitality. The plants, the coffee, the chocolates in the fridge, the water dispenser, the kitchen paper towels. All these were considered to help guests feel welcomed and comfortable. Aliff also helped me to arrange for car rental and gave some ideas of where to go. Overall, it was a pretty centralised location and not difficult to go to different parts of Langkawi with a car.

Cleaner than some 4 ⭐ hotels

The villa was remarkable, cleane, vintage, unique, and beautiful... Aliff, our host is a remarkable person and when he says I got you, then you fear nothing. He provided me with everything I asked and connected me with a good car rental office... We enjoyed our time there and enjoyed the remarkable nature.. highly recommend..

For me I had nothing, but if you are traveling with kids, you must be sure that they are not afraid of the bugs outside the villa. (Inside is clean, don't worry). The location is bit far from the center, so you must have a car.
