Very nice clean flat with a view of the loch over the house tops.

We were told to walk on the road. Which was a long way round up a steep hill. We later discovered the stairs next to the property which made it shorter but still steep

No where to put wet towels. An electric towel rail in the bathroom would be good. Also no toilet roll holder.

Localisation et vue au top

Localisation au top pour accéder aux boutiques et aux restaurants. Il permet de faire plusieurs sites touristiques de la région. Le chauffage fonctionnait. La vue est très agréable.

Rien à signaler, sauf quand des voisins marchent trop fort au dessus.

Very good, would stay again!

Location, staff, fast check-in & out. Comfortable beds and living space. Kitchen was very well equipped. Everything looked to be maintained and clean. Good parking right outside. Great bar just down the steps (black Isle bar).

Front door was always open and didn't require code. Other front door doesn't shut fully unless pushed from the inside (no handle outside). Security could be improved on. Shower wasn't the best, a bit intermittent!

Fantastic views from the apartment

Fantastic views from the property, nice shower with good local toiletries ,easy to locate and central

Strong smell of sewage when we arrived back at the property from our day out, coco pops supplied as cereal for four adults, the towel rail didn’t have a safety cut off and was searingly hot and burnt one of the guests, would be extremely dangerous if a child was staying, loo roll was very cheap

Lovely view but steep climb to apartment

The view of the loch was lovely. The apartment was clean, the beds were comfortable.

If you are on foot it’s a steep climb up to the apartment and there are no shops or restaurants nearby. Also strange to only provide a 3 seater sofa and no armchair in a 4 bed apartment.

Välstädat, bra läge, sköna sängar, förutom bäddsoffan.

Lite knepigt att parkera om man fick de sista parkeringsplatserna, eftersom det var en hög trottoarkant i vägen.

Great central location, with parking outside to unload your car. Would return and recommend to others

Spacious, clean and very well equipped with everything you need including tea, coffee sugar, tea towels, kitchen roll, washing up liquid etc

Some neighbours were noisy as we stayed on the bottom floor but to be expected in an apartment block, not good for those who can’t use stairs easily and steps down into the town but not a problem for us but maybe for others

Comfortable, spacious apartment with gorgeous views and a nice central location

Lovely apartment in a central location. Lots of space, comfortable beds, and well equipped. It was easy to get around, there was parking for our car, and we could pop down the stairs to the high street for a selection of pubs and restaurants. The view from the apartment was beautiful as well, right on the loch.

Comfortable and really good value for money; would happily book again

Great value for money and all necessary facilities. We booked for couple, nephew and family friend and it was comfortable for 4 adults. Really enjoyed it.

Perhaps simple instructions on how to use the microwave and the cooker - was trial and error for us.

Petit appartement en centre ville de fort william.

L’emplacement au centre ville. La belle vue sur le Loch. Petit parking pour se garer au pied de l’immeuble. Conseillé pour une nuit seulement si vous faites les highlands.

L’appartement se situe dans une résidence. La porte de la résidence est ouverte en permanence, aucun code n’est demandé pour y entrer. L’appartement était très sombre, très peu de lumière. Nous avons été déçu par la propreté de l’appartement : taches sur le canapé, poêle sale, micro onde sale… Pour se laver, vous n’avez pas accès à un robinet où vous choisissez la température de l’eau : il n’y a qu’un bouton on et off. L’eau est soit brûlante soit froide. Le débit de l’eau était ridicule. Vraiment un gros point négatif. Le prix de cet appartement n’est pas en adéquation avec la prestation proposé.

Parking issue spoiled the whole trip for us - pity as Fort William is lovely

Property was clean and comfortable with spectacular views

Our stay at the Garrison Apartments was a very mixed experience. On arrival at checkin we were greeted very warmly and it was a lovely start to our planned two night break. The apartment itself was very clean with amazing views. We went out for an early dinner and returned, on a very rainy evening, oonly to find no parking spaces left in the apartment car park. Now given the fact there are 9 apartments within the building there should logically be a space for each apartment occupied. There were additional cars parked which had no right being there. I called Garrison Hotel and spoke to a very rude and unhelpful receptionist who responded that there was nothing she could do about it and perhaps we should park in someone’s drive if we wouldn’t be blocking them in. My son drove around for a good hour trying to find some close by to park (street has double yellow lines down both sides of road). He went into the hotel to again speak to the receptionist who said ‘Ehat do you expect me to do about it’. He eventually parked in Garrison Hotel carpark and walked, in the rain, back to the apartment These events soured the whole experience for us and following morning we decided to call it quits as we did not want to risk the same parking fiasco as the evening before. On check out, the lady on reception desk was disappointed to hear of the events of night before. I suggested that as a future measure, the parking spaces were each marked with the apartment no and that would ensure that all apartments had at least one allocated parking space. We were refunded for the night cancelled. This was a nostalgia trip as my late father spent his summer holidays in both Fort William and Mallaig when he was a child and a teenager. I also spent many holidays there as a young girl. All in all, a very disappointing stay. Carol Robertson

Good location, lovely views. Great equipped kitchen, very clean apartment. Staff very helpful in getting us an early check in as had arrived in Fort William at 6:30am, check was 16:00 but managed to get in at mid-day.

Expensive to stay (but was in peak season August) and lots of visible superficial damage to walls and furniture

Fantastic break.

Excellent view of the loch, close to all amenities in town, friendly, helpful staff at check in and check out, apartment was clean, and cosy had all the features of home.

New hob didn't work.
