A very comfortable stay

Property was spacious and comfortable for a group. It was in a quiet location. Main bed extremely comfortable.

No iron, despite it being mentioned in the amenities list. Frustrating, given that it was the location for bride and bridesmaids to prepare for a wedding! Queen bed in room sleeping 4 very uncomfortable.

Great family getaway.

Spacious, great for a big family getaway with a lovely view of Mt Solitary. Good heating system and the fireplace added ambience. Nice gardens and a lovely fire pit area. Well appointed.

Fridge and oven could be bigger given the property sleeps 12. Flyscreens need replacing. Flooded with emails from managing agent ‘Accommodated’, many of which were duplicated.

We come to the area every year, but will definitely book this house again. had everything we needed. excellent location, the host was wonderful. We brought more firewood, and loved the fire - but it’s not required as the central heating was amazing. What a beautiful place!

Passable, cheap option for a group in the blue mountains

Location is good, a short drive from Katoomba so close to supermarkets and restaurants; and nearby to many walks. On a clear day the view across the valley is impressive. The communal areas of the property are spacious and there is a kitchen stocked well enough to cook for a group.

-I did not receive communication from the host regarding the lock box code, so was unable to retrieve the keys. Fortunately the door was left open so we were able to enter anyway, and the host did respond quickly and resolve the issue. -Communications about the house not being a 'party house', rules for cleaning and potential $ penalties for breaking rules were quite over the top and rather dampened the mood, and gave the impression we were not really wanted in the place. -There was an old oven left in the communal area. I guess the oven had just been replaced but quite odd to leave the old one there in the dining area. - Overall everything is quite 'tired' and could do with a refresh. The games cupboard was a messy, a lot of things (esp in the kitchen) felt 'sticky' and the clothes airer outside was filthy.

good place for large families

We are a traveling party of 10 (2 families). This house is big & spacious. Was hoping to use the fireplace but could not find the fire lighter. Hope it’s more organized esp we were supposed to be gifted with a starter pack and this should be placed next to the fireplace. Location is great and just a few mins drive to the Katoomba street for shopping and meals. easy accessible to the scenic lookout etc

we had forgotten that we were traveling with many heavy luggages and therefore it was a hassle carrying them up to the upper deck 😅

Lovely location but let down by cooking and cleaning facilities.

The property was in an excellent location with a fabulous view. 20 minutes stiff up/down walk from the Scenic Railway. The property was spacious and the bed linen and towels clean and of good quality. There was plenty of hot water for showers and washing up.

We were disappointed with the cooking facilities ie the oven which potentially catered for 11 occupants although we were only 7. Especially as I had double checked the cooking facilities in advance for a celebratory family roast dinner. The oven took far too long to heat and went off and did not heat evenly. 4 hours for a roast. We had to cook half in the BBQ and juggle the accompanying dishes. The hob rings kept self extinguishing if not watched. The pots, pans and utensils were elderly and need updating. If the property is required to be left in a pristine condition better cleaning materials should be provided.

Tree Tops accommodation is tops 🙂.

Great location for what we wanted to do. Would definitely stay again.

Oven rakes fell out when moved, and the stove wouldn't start. The air conditioning want working. Not sure if it was user error or there is a problem as we only tried to turn it on and nothing else. We provided feed back about this.

Loved the views, although the cold wind did not allow us to take advantage of the verandah.

Exceptional

The property was in a pristine location with a spectacular view. The owners were very courteous in supplying a generous amount of firewood, bathroom, laundry and kitchen amenities. The linen and towels were of high quality and all appliances were exceptional including the WiFi. I was astounded at the vast variety of games and toys available to entertain my children. The property is within close proximity of main attractions, cafes & grocery stores. We were also very blessed to witness the snow on our last night. I would highly recommend Treetops to large families or groups looking for a beautiful getaway. It is also important to note the neighbours were very friendly and respectful, so it helps to be the same 😁

Would all be perfect if communication with host and site were possible.

Very generously provided thank you with coffee and all basic necessities. Heating excellent. Ample supply of wood much appreciated. Wonderful view. Ideal family house.

communication problems. no answers to emails until last moment. Confusion between sites.The site kept saying we were payed up in full and then demanding $10 more. worrying and frustrating. No resolution to this problem until the last moment. May not be the owners fault.

Wonderful for “retreat”. The group would stay again.

Overall I would say excellent. Cosy. Plenty of heating options, spacious, well equipped kitchen.

Could do with brighter lights in kitchen and living. Light needs replacing in ensuite. Need electric blanket in main bedroom. An information booklet would have been helpful with instructions on TV operation for YouTube and Netflix and information about local area for medical, places to eat etc.

Spacious house with lovely outlook

Large house, great for a group of friends, with large living area, four bedrooms, eight beds, two bathrooms plus additional toilet. Quiet location with large balcony to enjoy the view. Undercover parking for three cars. Crisp white sheets, comfy beds, large towels, washing machine, clothes line.

Fridge a bit small for a house this large - don’t bring lots of food to cook, enjoy the excellent local restaurants instead!

Sofa in family area needs replacing as it’s not at all comfortable to sit on!! Property that size needs a basic tumble dryer as drying clothes was a challenge - had to drive into town to use laundrette.
