A budget option, but there are better budget options on the same street

Friendly staff, quiet room

It is very cold in the rooms, and there is no form of heating whatsoever. It's a budget accommodation, but the building looks like it's only half-built. There are better options in town

Adéquat pour passe une nuit à chugchilan, éviter les weekends pour bruit extérieur.

Petit déjeuner et souper inclut, option végé, repas simple mais bon et bonne portion! Eau chaude, chambre très propre.

Les chambres ne sont vraiment pas bien isolées, on entend tout, dehors et même en dedans les gens qui marchent dans le couloir!

Excellent accommodation and great value for money. Nice room with balcony and clean bathroom with hot shower! Very good breakfast and tea which were included in the price. Lovely host very friendly Lunchbox for our walk the next day was also very nice and good price!

The hostel owner is an incredibly kind and friendly woman who really goes above and beyond to make sure that you enjoy your stay and feel at home. The rooms were comfortable and clean and all of the food was also really tasty. We really enjoyed our stay !

Exceptional

The hotel is in the centre of the village. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They were so welcoming and warm. They even make a fire for us in the living room. The food was really nice! Very tasty and big portions (especially if you compare it to the other famous hotel in Quilatoa) they made me a broccoli burger which was delicious 😊😊 We loved everything ☺️☺️

I loved everything here. This family run business is outstanding in their welcoming hospitality. They look after the weary traveller with clean rooms, extremely comfortable beds and delicious meals that are included in the price of the room. We loved that the meals were included, it made this place extremely special. Even the hot drinks like coffee and hot chocolate were delicious, they do everything well. The soup was sooo tasty and we ate our dinner in 3 seconds because it was tasty. I had the deepest sleep of my life on their comfortable beds and the fireplace was soooo wonderful The hot showers take a little while to warm up but they are truly hot 😍 We loved the lunch box service for $3.50 and the owner even went to the tienda for me when I didnt have shoes to go outside. True hospitality here. Easily 10 out of 10 for the quilotoa hiker.

I am not used to the plastic bathmats in Ecuador but I hope it gets washed often? A cotton one would feel more clean because they are washed every use in other hotels.

Lovely accommodation on the Quilotoa Loop

very worth it

the private room was a nice surprise. the bed was very comfy and warm. a nice balcony overlooking the mountains. and a private bath with very hot water. the wifi was super strong. the staff was accommodating and very friendly. the food was alright, but still very good.

i was the only guest so no one to socialize with

Price/performance ratio is right

+ cheep + balcony + own room + bath + I got more food after asking + water refil If you prefer to have your own room for a cheep price - that's a good choice! If you want to meet other people, have a nice atmosphere and you're okay with dorms and paying a bit more, better stay in Black Sheep or Rainforest - they have great food!

- sometimes bad wifi - boring food - English wasn't the best - cold but you have many blankets for the night - I wasn't freezing - not good atmosphere

Overall good value for money. The staff was friendly, good size room and comfortable beds, good dinner and breakfast with possibility of buying sandwiches for the next day hike. We were the only ones staying that night, but they still set up the fire in the fireplace which was great.

One of the 2 best places I have stayed in all the places I have visited!

EVERYTHING! The staff is fantastic. They made me dinner even if I was late, and they made a fire in fireplace just for me! I asked for an extra coffee, and they went across the street to get milk!!! And they had hot shower!!! not lukewarm, hot!

Perfect spot for mid-trek!

Very comfortable room, clean bathroom, hot shower, quiet space for a good nights rest, nice dinner and breakfast at time you choose

Quite noisy in the morning as traffic horns right outside hostel as they turn the corner - but this can’t be helped!

Very affordable!

Really liked my stay! Friendly staff, really comfortable bed! Food was good, I got to choose what time to eat. Good WiFi, a lot better than I expected! Was given a Dia de los Muertos drink for free, because I was there at that day, which was a super sweet gesture! Really affordable stay, and would definitely recommend for people doing the Quilotoa loop!

Only thing was that it was a bit quiet. Didn't meet anyone else. But I honestly felt like having some alone time, so for me it was good at this point!

Breakfast was a bit poor - especially for me as a vegan (even though I let them know in advance) but for omnivores, too

Nice hostel at the Quilotoaloop

Nice room and bed with enough blankets. Good value for money. Shower was warm (not super warm) and WiFi worked some of the time

There are no curtains, only some vitrage, while there was a light right under my window. The owner could not give any recommendations for the Quilotoaloop
