Mahalo (thank you) for taking a moment to view my home in beautiful Kihei, Maui. This 4th floor condo is located in the most convenient location on Maui. From the moment you walk in the door it is impossible to ignore the sweeping magnificent views from the private lanai (patio or balcony). You can see the popular Kamaole Beach Park featuring picnic areas, grassy lawns, beach, volleyball, baseball, soccer, and basket ball courts. It also has a wonderful beach walk. To the left you will be able to watch one of South Maui's most popular surf spots, Cove Park. It is the perfect place to learn to surf. There are two places to rent boards and take lessons. One is located on the first floor of this building. The other is located just across the street. If you are more of a diver or interested in other ocean activities like whale watching or snorkel adventures then I have you covered here as well. Just visit Maui Dreams Dive shop, also on the first floor. If you get hungry there are three restaurants located on the property. Joy's Place is a wonderful sandwich shop offering excellent coffee and healthy sandwiches. Surfside Cafe is a new restaurant offering Local, American and Cuban cuisine and serves breakfast and lunch all day. Your Bliss has Maui inspired gourmet frozen delights as well as some great food options.

We had a great stay. Location was great, across from one of the most popular surfing beaches. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets everyday. Overall, would stay again.

The location is unbeatable. Steps from the beach and park, shops, dining, bars, and restaurants, but the unit itself is quiet and welcoming. Would highly recommend!

We had an amazing 10 day stay. The condo is spacious and nicely decorated. Located in a perfect spot close to restaurants and shopping you can walk to. They provide so much for you. I highly recommend you look in the outdoor storage box before you go shopping for umbrellas and snorkel gear. We really enjoyed our stay. The views were outstanding. Only issue we had was the dryer wasn’t working well. But it was a minor issue.

The place was clean and had a really great ocean view. Shawn was prompt in answering questions we had. There are so many places within walking distance - food trucks, shopping, Foodland, beach park, etc. We enjoyed our stay here.

I loved this unit. I’ve stayed at the property before, but Shawn’s unit is beautiful. I loved the decor in the bathroom. Perfect location and the taco truck and cookie place are amazing. Will definitely stay there again.

Location was perfect! Right across from the park/small beach & Ocean. Condo is on the 4th floor so you can sit on the balcony and watch whales jumping & the sunset. Lots of action - Walk to restaurants and shopping. Ohana Seafood Bar & Grill and Paia Fish Market are both excellent and just a short walk. Lots of food trucks right behind in the South Maui Gardens. The condo is across the street from the ocean so there is quite a bit of traffic but it didn't seem to bother us. Condo was small but nice. Perfect for 2 people. Bed was a little more firm but the linens were nice. No kind of bath soap provided so bring your own. Nicer cookware and utensils then I've ever had in a vrbo. Appreciated that! Nice comfortable furniture & well kept place. Beach chairs, umbrella and beach toys were also there to use. Had a great time! We would stay here again!

This property was the perfect location. Very clean and comfortable. We watched the sunsets from the lanai every night and the surfers during the day. We would definitely stay here again.

We didn't want to stay at the big resorts and opted for a VRBO. This unit checked all the boxes and exceeded our expectations! Ocean view, AC, walking distance from restaurants, shopping and grocery store. The condo had everthing. Filtered water and ice from the fridge in the kitchen, pots and pans (so we didnt need to go out for breakfast and happy hour each day), beach towels, chairs, umbrella and blanket. We rented boogie boards at the store across the street (couldn't convince my son to take a surfing lesson). Great beginner surfing right across the street from the condo.
We only had to drive 30 minutes to do our luau and snorkeling trip in Lahina. Great beaches near by for snorkeling off the beach. Tons of shopping, food trucks and restaurants right outside your door. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!
Totally recommend this condo!! Owner was very responsive from when we booked it 4 months in advance up to our departure.

This is the third time we’ve stayed at Island Surf and this unit is by far the best we’ve stayed in! It offers everything you need and the convenience to the shops and food is perfect! Plus the view is to die for! We will be back.

We had a great stay at this location. Shawn was easy to communicate with and gave great suggestions for things to do. The condo was clean, had everything we needed and had a great ocean view! There were some great spots in walking distance of the building. It was also easy to get to other spots on the island from Kihei.

Great condo in a perfect location! Shawn was so helpful with recommendations for place to go. Condo is clean and has everything you need! (The blender was used a lot 😜). We watched the sunrise on one balcony and the sunsets on the lanai ☀️. The beach park across the way was awesome— always a volleyball game going on. The “BARmedua triangle “ nearby was so much fun. It has like 7 or so so bar/restaurants. Highly recommend!

I loved the location of this place! Walking distance to lots of places to eat as well as the ocean and some beaches. Parking was free and convenient.

The condo was great! Had everything we needed. Great location in Kihei. Easy to walk or drive out. The complex had its own parking lot with plenty of parking. Never had to wait in line for the elevator. Great communication with the host. Would love to go back!

This was our second time visiting Kihei, and it was such an amazing stay. The location was PERFECT, right across from the water and the park! We were able to spot whales from the lanai - which was pretty spectacular. Shawn's unit was great, and suited well for our family of three. It was clean, quiet and very homey. The condo is located close to shopping, restaurants and many activities.
We would happily enjoy returning to stay in Shawn's condo in the future!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Owner was responsive when we couldn't unlock the door and had us in within minutes. Kitchen is fully stocked, and we found everything we needed during our stay There were beach towels, and beach toys, available. Only one beach chair, but that wasn't a problem for us. Walkable area with food, playground, beaches and shave ice places super close. Parking lot process was easy, and never too full. Right across the street from Maui wave riders if you plan to take surfing lessons. The bed was a bit soft for my liking, but nothing really to complain about.

We watched whales and sunset from the balcony. The property is a bit dated but clean and functional. The location is absolutely perfect for Kihei. Easy walk to Food land for fresh poke every day.

Other than an issue at check in, our stay was fabulous! Watching whales from lanai, people watching, amazing food within walking distance. We loved the feral chickens!

One of the best equipped rental I have stayed in. Beach umbrella, chairs, towels and even toys made it very comfortable for us to spend time at many beaches in kihei area. Basic shopping can be done at the grab and go shop in the same building, whereas foodland store is few mins walk for full grocery. We also enjoyed the food trucks and other cafes/restaurants that are right behind this building.
Host maintained transparent and clear communication all the time.
We'll definitely stay at the same place again in future.

This place is a gem. I was on the island to attend a week-long retreat in Wailea and chose not to stay at the resort and not to rent a car. Both could have turned out to be bad choices, but thanks to the convenient location of this property, it turned out to be the perfect way to do things. Everything my roommate and I needed was within walking distance; shops, restaurants, cafes, beaches, park, music ,grocery store and bus line. The local bus runs right past the condo and cost two dollars, or one dollar for seniors. Every morning I sat on the balcony with a cup of coffee watching the town wake up and it felt like " Sesame Street Hawaiian Style" By the end of the week I recognized some of the locals . The views were beautiful, the people were happy. Every day I walked across the street and swam, and a couple of those days was joined by sea turtles. Shawn, the host was not only helpful, but I got the feeling that he really wanted us to have a good time while we were staying at his place. We did. Mahalo

Love staying in Kihei because it is central and unpretentious. This unit is really comfortable, clean, and convenient with easy parking, a killer view and a everything you need nearby. Shawn was very easy to communicate with on arrival. I would stay again next trip if it is available.

My hysband and 3 years old stayed here for a week and it was absolutely perfect. Very good deal, practical location, many restarants, food truck, grocery store nearby, walking distance to kamaole beach.
The appartment was clean and very well equiped. There was everything you need to cook home meals. Beach chairs, umbrella and a cooler was also available, which were very handy.
He had a problem with our AC when we arrived at the appartment and Shawn (the owner) did his possible to fix the issue in a short delay so we would not have to spent another day without AC. He was very responsive, caring and did everything to make our stay the most comfortable possible. Thank you again Shawn for the excellent service, most appreciated. We had a wonderful time.

Overall this place was just right for us. We needed a base camp to explore Maui over a 4 days, and this place provided that. Clean and well appointed with amenities including washer and dryer in unit. The one window A/C helped keep the living area cool enough during the stay. And fan in bedroom helped make it more comfortable. Walkable to some of Kihei’s best beaches including Charlie Young Beach. But also an easy drive to Big Beach which is amazing. And the place included beach chairs and umbrella and cooler were so valuable to us for beach time. There are several restaurants/food trucks in easy walking distance including Da Green Coffee right next to the property which became a must-have morning ritual. Shawn was a great host, with good communication and accommodate some requests we had which made our trip that much more enjoyable.

My husband and I stayed here for a week, and it was absolutely perfect! This location in Kihei is close to shops, restaurants, food trucks and there are several beaches that are a quick drive away. The condo had the listed beach equipment (such as beach chairs, a cooler, etc), which we appreciated having access to!
Also, the view of the ocean (and sunset) from the balcony was beautiful - just like the photos on the post!
The unit was very clean. We found the queen bed was comfortable and the set up was good for putting some clothes in drawers as well as for hanging some stuff up in the closet. The in-unit washer and dryer was very handy!
The kitchen was well equiped for with everything you need for a home cooked meal.
Shawn (the host) was very responsive with any questions we had and was awesome for giving recommendations of things to do. I've never had a host who was so caring before! :)
We would without a doubt recommend this unit to anyone looking to stay in Kihei! We hope we can make it back one day!

First of all, Shawn was a great host. He was very responsive before and during our stay, and you can tell he cares that his guests have a good stay.
This condo is perfect and truly a good deal compared to what hotels were quoting nearby. - it is in a good location, near plenty of good restaurants, and right across the street from the beach (you can sit on your balcony and watch the sunset). The property is clean; the kitchen has every tool you could possibly need to prepare meals there; there are even a couple of beach chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler that you can use during your stay.
Check-in and check-out were a breeze. There is a well-lit and safe parking lot at the building as well. We didn't spend much time in the unit, but whenever we were there we felt right at home.

We were in this apartment from 27.05-10.06. In advance Shawn gave us many tips and excursions, which we appreciated very much.
The apartment was clean and has everything we need, also there are beach chairs incl. umbrella and cooler. Although the apartment complex is on a street, it is very quiet. The bedroom is on the streets not on the street side. I am personally very sensitive to noise, could sleep perfectly.
In the surrounding area there are many restaurants or shopping, in the building itself dive shop/vendor, surf store, SPA etc.
The loudest thing was the roosters.
We would definitely recommend this apartment.

Amazing location!
The location of this condo is incredible. You are such a short walk away from restaurants and food trucks! We stayed with two young children so this was perfect for us because we hardly used our rental car due to everything being so close. You can walk to a grocery store, the beach, a playground and a huge variety of restaurants and food trucks. Shawn is very communicative also which was a great bonus. You can tell he takes a lot of pride in his condo and it was a great place to stay.

Like: Close to the beach and facing beach. Ample parking, close to many things.
Dislike: Bad air circulation in the bedroom, perhaps the AC is too old. Floor is sticky, bedroom carpet seems dirty, a tiny cockroach in the bathroom, I found a used bedsheet and pillow under the bed frame/on the carpet

Great location and beautiful condo
The condo was perfect for us. Great location. Central to most things we need access to and a beautiful view. The condo had everything we needed for daily living, and a nice little pool for times that the kids wanted to play in the water without having to walk across to the beach. The kitchen was the best equipped that we have had in a vrbo. Plates, bowls, cups, utensils, pots and pans. It was even has a nice collection of resealable food storage container. Makes things so much easier!

Awesome, all-around!
We were looking for a relaxed, centralized location; this fit the bill exactly! The place was in a WONDERFUL location with a surfing / boogie-boarding beach and beach park right across the street and with two beautiful sand beaches within walking distance. Two other amazing sand beaches are just a 10-minute drive away. I loved that this place had a shop to rent snorkel gear, surf gear, boogie boards, and dive gear on the bottom floor of the building - super cheap and convenient! Shawn was super friendly and available. He even took the time to give us suggestions about what we might enjoy doing on the island. The condo was clean, well-stocked, and had a great view of the ocean. I'd stay here again in a heart-beat.
