This is one cool hostel! The atmosphere and decor is unlike any hostel I've had the opportunity of staying in before. I slept in the dorms which wasn't outstanding, but if you go with a partner or have the money, you should definitely stay in one of the campers! The staff was super nice, the place was pretty clean, the common areas are spacious and unique, and it's close enough to what you'd want to see. Plus there's free breakfast and an amazing kitchen! Overall I would stay here again and I'd recommend this place in a heartbeat.
It's a little far away from things, roughly 20 minute from the city center. Which isn't bad but it also means that it's another 20 minutes away from the train station. Lucky public transportation is available. The dorms are not great, not horrible, so like I said before, you may want to splurge and camp in one of the nicer options. Lastly, the bathroom was quite far away from the dorm room I had, but this was just an annoying inconvenience.

Amazing value for the price. The bed was very comfortable and close to electric sockets. Lockers are available with sockets inside, so you can leave your electronic devices safe while charging. It's a huge place with terrace, bar, a big lounge, even a cinema roulette. There lounge is very colorful with graffiti, and it provides several games (table tennis, fussball, board games etc.). The kitchen is small, but clean and has everything you need. They encourage you to eat in the lounge or terrace. There is a very nice vibe. The staff was extremely friendly. I arrived late and they didn't make an issue of it. Instead, they kept the kitchen open longer for me to eat dinner. The staff even provided a box of vegetables to eat for free. Breakfast was also very good.
I saw they also rent out bikes and canoes but I didn't use the service.
Nothing really. It's a great place

One of the best hostels I ever stayed in: beds were comfortable, room size was sufficient not to feel cramped, big lockers, the showers were clean and well equipped, nice breakfast (vegetarian&vegan friendly) included in the price, fully-equipped shared kitchen... And quiet at night! The vibe of the hostel is clearly present and the staff is helpful (they even took the time to give us a tour of the hostel at check-in). Also, the sustainable engagement goes a bit farther than just "save water/electricity" signs: compost bin & organic food at breakfast, environment-friendly soap...
Maybe a bit far from the city centre (but nothing unfeasible on foot).

cool property, great energy
showers/toilets kinda of far from bedrooms and small towels when renting

It is okay. The cleanliness is okay and breakfast is in intermediate level.Overall I like the hostel

Rooms were clean and hostel design was very cool.
Stuff was very rude. They put hard requirements in front of us such as don't talk, don't laugh and so on after may be 10 PM. When we check out, the girl who sit in reception was very kind. But for a first day, I cannot say same thing.

Location. Personel. Price and breakfast. Relaxing ambiance and interior.
Poor ventilation in rooms. Too many beds in a room.

Great place, friendly people, surprisingly decorated! Nice concept as indoor camping. Super fun for and easy with kids. Good bed, nice breakfast. All in all definitely a place I would recommend.
It was a bit warm at night.

Amazing place, you feel part of a large family, a community. They tried to speak Portuguese with us when we checked in and explained everything we should visit in with an amazing map made by local people of Ghent. Warm and cozy place to stay, clean and respectful. Calm and very quiet at night, we slept well. We had a small living area outside our Caravan with armchairs and a table with a bottle of water and glasses for us when we arrived.
We only use the kitchen to make some tea and sandwiches so I don't know much about it but looked okay.
Shared bathrooms a bit far but very clean and with hairdryer.
Great breakfast with vegan "milks" and gluten free bread too, delicious eggs, all in a cozy and charismatic room.
Loved the vintage fair that was happening while we were there, selling antiques and lots of things. We bought some and couldn't bring more because we had a small bag for our flight.
We definitely recommend this hostel because the atmosphere is amazing and we had a unique "camping" experience under a roof!
We went to Bruges when we checked out and the staff lady told us the best day tour in Bruges because she was from there! It was perfect and we are so thankful!
Shared bathrooms are a bit far from the Caravan (depending on the Caravan and specially, if you need to go there at night), but it's okay.
Making our own bed in a bunkbed it's was bit tricky but we could do it.
If you don't have your own towel you have to pay 2€ for one, so make sure you have one.
But none of this should keep you from staying in Treck Hostel!

Really nice interior design, friendly staff and good facilities. I especially liked that they have a common kitchen and that breakfast was until 10:30 and check-out until 11, which is nice for those who like to sleep a bit longer.
Unfortunately the door to the dorm room opened very loudly so I woke up every time every time someone left or entered the room. The bed also moved around a bit when the person below me moved a lot which was kinda annoying, maybe it would be a good idea to fix them to the wall or something like that. These were just minor inconveniences tho, overall definitely a great hostel!

I've stayed at a lot of hostels all over the world, , but this one is truly unique! What a cool place!
Staff was very nice and helpful and tjwy offer a nice little varity of Belgian beers and snacks for a very fair price.
Breakfast was also very good with a focus on healthy and organic foods (plus chocolate pieces).
Overall, highly recommend!
Following points are not a big deal, but should be considered when booling:
The hostel is a 15min walk from the city center and 40mim walk from the train station (or take the tram for. 25min)
Breakfast starts at 8am, which is a bit late for early birds

Really enjoyed our stay at this hostel. Was really unique and something that I haven't found at any other hostel. The staff were welcoming and helpful, it was clean and the breakfast was nice!
Only minor thing was the heat during our stay in August. The fan was okay but was just moving warm air from outside round our caravan but wasn't too much of a problem

Definitely coming back.
great for all ages, family’s, couples or solo.
Cool bar on site and good location for access to central Gent.

Breakfast was great in the morning also
Nothing - this hostel is very good

The table football, cinema caravan and table tennis makes it a great place to go with kids. I also really like the social concept of providing empty beds in winter season to some homeless ; in that way tourists provides some care for the less fortunate.
i don't making my own bed, but to facilitate that, please don't hand out large inflexible hard cotton bedsheets like our grandma's used - dressing a narrow bunkbed with such sheets inside a cramped caravan is impossible. Replace them with modern mattress covers with an elastic and the DIY bedmaking would be quickly accomplished.

Chill vibe, nice exterior
Breakfast included in price!
Interesting caravan concept
Not too crowded
Shower was missing the latest component, water was spraying everywhere
