Lovely place to stay.

Really cute. Quiet. Very clean with a comfy bed and good facilities. Enjoyed our stay.

Great spot and lovely decor

There is no onsite managers but they were contactable by text message. Lovely room and a great stay. Shared onsite kitchen which we didn’t use but a great option if needed! The Internet wasn’t great and no onsite laundry,but apparently there is a laundromat close by. The room info folder didn’t have this information which would’ve been handy. Would definitely book here again!

Nothing that would deter me from staying again!

Nice place to stay if you’re staying in Dunedin

Love stay at this place. You have a good bed, nice shower and coffee and tea facilities. If you like to cook you can use the central kitchen open to all guest. I stayed in room 5.

Tolle moderne Ausstattung unseres Zimmers! Alles wirkte neu und wie vom Innenarchitekten sehr durchdacht. Das Bad ausgesprochen geschmackvoll! Und die Küche ! Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt.

LOVELY PLACE TO STAY IF AIR CONDITIONER IS WORKING IN WARM WEATHER.

The room was lovely and the location was great for our needs. There was a really nice kitchen available for our use. We loved having the larger refrigerator/freezer for our food.

Our air conditioner wasn't working on cooling. We did notify the manager via email shortly after we arrived but still haven't received a response 2 days later!!! There is no on-site staff and checking in is via emailed instructions. Our room was always too warm and we were reduced to running the air conditioner fan on full whilst only sleeping with a sheet.

Not much

The room was over priced, tight and too small a space for anyone. No character compared to the other rooms stayed in previous. The toilet blocked up and nothing to unblock with.

didn't have breakfast location worked for us.

I think that some of the parking is dangerous and trouble will one day come. evan some rocks around the front to alert the driver that its time to stop before going over the bank into the next house.

Einfache, aber wunderschöne Unterkunft nicht wit vom Stadtzentrum

Wunderschönes, altes Gebäude, das mit viel Geschmack und Geschick renoviert wurde. Sehr modernes und schönes Badezimmer. Wasserkocher für Kaffee und Tee im Zimmer, kleine Küche im Erdgeschoss des Haupthauses (die ich allerdings nicht benutzte). Das Wetter war, wie oft in Dunedin, etwas kühl. Deshalb fand ich es wunderbar, dass die Betten mit elektrischen Heizdecken ausgestattet sind.

Ich hätte es geschätzt, wenn in der Unterkunftsbeschreibung vermerkt gewesen wäre, dass es keine Rezeption gibt, und dass sich kein Personal vor Ort befindet. Die Kommunikation per SMS, E-Mail und sogar Voicemail hat aber wunderbar geklappt.

Amazing room comfy bed highly recommend

Such a cute accommodation venue. Romantic and practical. Loved the easy check in and shared kitchen. Bed was the comfiest one in 11 days of touring NZ. If your in Dunedin you must stay here

Great place but be wary of hills

The room was comfortable, newly redone and an excellent place to stay. The bed was comfortable and for my activities it was in a perfect location. I never felt bothered by any of the other guests or the staff.

The parking lot is very small and through a narrow gate. If you don't pay attention you could really. Scrape up your car. While I knew Dunedin was full of steep hills, I didn't realize this location was in the middle of one. Also, during my stay there was a lot of roadwork that hindered my ability to go down some roads and follow GPS but that is not the hotel's fault.

Wonderful room with great facilities.

Wonderful room, with beams and exposed brick work. Loved the kitchen downstairs for our use, a great idea.

Not really the fault of the property, but it is up a very steep hill. Luckily found the path out onto the side road which shortened the trip into town a bit. A small item, the bottom runner in the bathroom door was loose, so the door got stuck a couple of times.

Liked the rustic charm of the Stables.

Rustic charm. Nice bathroom. Good water pressure. Room was warm and bed turned on for us before we arrived.

Bed was very soft with a dip in the middle. Not very comfortable

Good

There was no outside light for all but one evening. This meant I needed a torch to walk through the carpark which didn’t feel very safe. Overall the property was very nice, comfortable and quiet.

We really enjoyed our stay at the stables and will stay there again when we are in Dunedin.

We loved the style and uniqueness of the room. The bed was very comfortable with great pillows. I also liked that there were nice mugs for a good sized cuppa.

It was raining and there was a big puddle at the front door.

Close to town , hills abit hard if not used to it. A great workout but that's all of dunedin. Heated tiles nice in bathroom.

Very comfortable and convenient with very nice feel about it.

Great rustic feel but with all the facilities required. it was close to town and parking on site.

We booked online and had zero contact with staff. Not sure who manages the place but no one about to get advice from.

Very dusty room. Thin walls making it very noisy. Could hear phone conversation in next room. Room very small.
