About this cabin rental

Seeking a Smoky Mountain cabin large enough to accommodate a family reunion, a church retreat or a wedding party? Your search is over. With eight bedrooms and eight bathrooms, Moonlight Lodge can sleep as many as 36 people. What’s more, it’s just a 10-minute drive to the attractions-packed Pigeon Forge Parkway.

Five of the spacious bedrooms qualify as primary bedrooms. Each has a log-frame king-size bed, some feature a futon that opens into another bed for two, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. One of these bedrooms is especially luxurious. Not only does it open directly onto the deck that houses the hot tub, but its en-suite bathroom includes a jetted tub.

Two of Moonlight Lodge’s other bedrooms feature queen-size bunk beds. With a pair of queen-size bunk beds, the eighth bedroom can sleep eight people. The kids will love making this space their headquarters--every night will be a slumber party! Each of these bedrooms has a flat-screen TV as well.

Teens in your group might want to stake their claim to the upstairs media/game room. The vaulted beamed ceiling makes the space feel even larger than it is. The extra-wide flat-screen TV is ideal for movie night, and the well-cushioned sofa opens into yet another bed for two. When you’re not watching TV in here, you can shoot pool or play endless games of foosball. Between games, step onto the balcony and revel in the crisp mountain breezes.

Moonlight Lodge’s downstairs great room has yet another impressive TV, below which is a stone-surround fireplace. On brisk winter evenings, the fireplace bathes the luminous wood-planked walls, floor and ceiling in a welcoming golden glow. Gather around for après-ski drinks, a game of charades or lively conversation. Moments like these are often the best part of vacationing with your nearest and dearest. The room’s leather couches are comfortable spots for curling up with a book or stretching out with your tablet to surf the web via the free Wi-Fi.

The great room’s dining area includes two wooden tables and a third, smaller one so that more than two dozen people can sit down for a meal at once. And the kitchen has everything you need to cater for a crowd, including two ovens/stoves, two refrigerators, two microwaves and two dishwashers. The savvy layout, with generous counter space and elbow room, allows for multiple chefs to work their culinary magic at the same time. Moonlight Lodge has a charcoal grill outside as well, so you can satisfy any cravings for barbecue.

When you arrive at Moonlight Lodge, you’ll find the beds impeccably made up, plenty of fresh towels for all eight bathrooms and extra bedding ready and waiting—no need to bring your own. In fact, because the cabin has a washer and a dryer, you can pack light. Be sure to pack your swimsuit if you’re visiting in the summer, though. The lodge is located in the Black Bear Ridge Resort, which has an outdoor pool.

Then again, given how much there is to see and do nearby, you might not find time to head to the pool. The Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster, the Alcatraz East Crime Museum, Dollywood, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Parrot Mountain and Gardens are among the must-visit attractions within a 20-minute drive.

Moonlight Lodge offers something for everyone in your group: a convenient location, relaxing amenities, fun and games, and best of all, the chance to make memories that will last a lifetime. Don’t miss out, book your stay today!

Lots of room for all the families in our youth group. One of the bathrooms upstairs has a small leak dripping into the bathroom on the first floor. Other than that we would stay in the same cabin.

We were greeted by Steve who was super nice and then we met Victor and his cleaning crew such nice people!! We arrived early so we just drove around the mountains while it was ready. The house was big enough for our group. It was at a great price. The only thing that I would recommend is more rocking chairs or outside seating.

Large enough for our29 people. Property needs alot of attention. Carpet needs replacing in all bedrooms but 1. No view at all from the cabin. Trees have grown up as tall as the roof top. I did appreciate the ample amount of dishes and linens to use. Not near enough garbage cans for that size cabin. Smaller cabins had twice as many. Was very difficult to check in and find the actual info since we never were given “a portal”. So alot of messages to the manager which was very inconvenient. I have no intentions of renting from this company in the future. Thats alot of money to pay to not receive better service. I am not one to complain but I feel this cabin is overpriced with the list of problems I sent the manager.

Futon frames are wore out. And need to be replaced with new futon mattresses. Had roaches in the kitchen on the second morning. The cabin is needing a upgrade. As all cabins it’s age needs. We have stayed in this area several times and it fairly easy to get to. Lots of parking. Theres not enough bad to keep us from renting again as long as there is some extra insect control and furnishing upgrade in the future.

It was nice at first glance but quickly we discovered the issues we'd seen on previous reviews that I hoped had been delt with. We found cockroaches in the kitchen, baby ones which means they're actively breeding. We had to buy our own stuff to spray around the counters so they would stay away from the food. One of the king beds box springs is so broken on one side my husband ended up sleeping on the floor instead of the bed. The downstairs thermostat doesn't work so therefore when it was 80°we got to hot and then when it snowed by the weekend we were extremely cold and had no way to heat the downstairs. I told them twice about these issues and never heard anything back on them. For that amount of money it wasn't acceptable living conditions with a group that size and kids that young. I would not recommend this place to anyone since I'd seen the reviews, assumed the problems had been delt with and trusted them to provide the basics (clean environment, beds not broken and heat/ac if needed) if this building was like this I would be skeptical of any of the other buildings as well. I hate leavening bad reviews but them never trying to fix these issues while we were there is highly unprofessional. Even if they communicated their inability to fix it or gave us a discount for the living conditions being less then appropriate I'd be more willing to be gracious in this review. It's sad that all seven families agree this was the worst cabin we've stayed at in Tennessee.
