About this cabin rental
This cabin is located right next to the Maggie Valley golf course greens. The cabin is very easy to get to with no steep/winding roads. You do not need a 4-wheel drive to access the property. There are 2 driveways for parking. The entrance to the first driveway is shared. This one has room for 2 cars or a small trailer. This driveway is located at the rear side of the cabin and has newly installed steps gaining access to the front door. The second or main driveway can fit 2-3 cars. Both driveways are on level ground making it easy for motorcycle parking.
The exterior of the cabin has been freshly painted and a new metal roof installed. Outside you will enjoy the sounds of the rushing creek which is located in front of the cabin by the road. Relax in one of the rocking chairs on the front porch and listen to the creek or read a book. The hot tub is located on the front porch with wrap around porch lights for a nice nighttime ambiance. The hot tub is also covered so you can relax even if it's raining (but not lightning). There is a charcoal grill on the porch. There is one security camera pointed towards the main driveway.
To enter the house, you will be provided with your own code for keyless entry.
There are 2 levels to the cabin. Downstairs, you will find the main living area and master bedroom, bathroom and laundry room. There is a gas fireplace for use in colder months. Enjoy the cozy fireplace with just pushing a button on the remote. Above the fireplace is a 58-inch smart TV. Enjoy Spectrum cable or sign on to your own streaming accounts on the Roku TV. There are some board games, puzzles and books for your enjoyment. There is a sit-down arcade game for additional entertainment. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to cook meals. For coffee drinkers-there is your choice of a drip, stove-top percolator, or a single serve Keurig. There is a microwave, toaster, crock pot, wine opener, blender, hand mixer, and a waffle maker. The dining room table has seating for 4 and the island has 4 stools underneath for additional seating.
The laundry room has a stackable washer/dryer. There is an iron and ironing board.
There are 3 bedrooms each with a queen-sized bed. One of the bedrooms upstairs also has 2 twin beds. Each bedroom has a large 55-inch TV providing Spectrum cable. They are Roku smart TV's so you can also sign in to your own account for streaming. There is a dresser in each bedroom.
The master bedroom has an attached bathroom with a newly renovated walk-in cave-like shower. The upstairs bathroom has a combination tub/shower located between the 2 bedrooms. There is a hair dryer in each bathroom.
The property is located approximately 7.5 miles from Cataloochee ski area.

This place was perfect! Very clean and peaceful place to stay. Would stay here again and highly recommend. Kids loved the games and puzzles.

Our family enjoyed our stay at Creektime cabin. The location felt safe and was convenient to all we planned to do. The sound of the flowing creek was relaxing and, together with the shade, provided some cooling comfort on hot days. The hot tub was a treat after hiking. Our 10 year old son loved the arcade! Everything was clean and comfy. Thanks for a wonderful vacation spot!

We enjoyed our stay at Creektime. The water rushing by was so peaceful, it was like being at a spa. We enjoyed showing our kids how to play "old school" video games. That was so much fun! We would stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Connie's cabin. It was a short drive to Cataloochee to do some skiing/snowboarding. It was quiet and relaxing. Our boys loved the arcade game and the hot tub. The bedroom upstairs above the master did stay a good bit warmer than the rest of the cabin but that was a minor inconvenience, we enjoyed our stay!

We loved this cabin. Great location by the golf coarse. Easy to get to. The kids (and adults). Loved the gaming table. We went to Maggie Valley to take our four kids skiing and unfortunately the ski slopes were closed. Being able to ski would have topped our trip off. Would stay at this cabin again.

This was such a nice cabin! We have stayed in several cabins over the years and this definitely rates as one of our favorites! The proximity to town was very convenient. Our kids loved being next to the creek and had lots of fun with the arcade games! They also enjoyed the twin beds upstairs! My wife and I enjoyed listening to the creek while sitting in the hot tub ! We would love to come back!

The location, fireplace, hot tub and arcade were great. That being said all the beds are uncomfortable and need to be replaced. The lighting is terrible and the furnishings are dated. The pantry is locked and cannot be used. The central heat overheated two rooms and did not heat the other two making it difficult for our family to be comfortable. There is no dresser in one of the bedrooms upstairs so, nowhere to put your clothes. You can also hear every sound from the upstairs bedroom in the living room. There were only five bath towels for the entire cabin so, I was constantly washing towels. Also, the parking is tight for two cars. We had a nice vacation hiking and skiing but, I would not rent this cabin again.

House is exactly as advertised. My kids loved the hot tub and the arcade games. Everything was clean. There was plenty of space for my family of five plus my Dad, but small enough that we were able to still be cozy. Easy access, four wheel drive not necessary. We couldn't get the Spectrum to work on the TV. I'm not a fan of the Maggie Valley area, but I liked the house.

It was very easy to book. The property manager was very responsive. The house is a bit dark, as noted in other reviews, but was clean and adequate for the four of us. My only recommendation would be the addition of a few microwave safe dishes & a casserole dish. Other than that, we had everything we needed.

Pure Relaxation
rental process was smooth. The cabin is as described. The souThend of the creek is relaxing. You are close to the road but we didn't find it bothersome. We had one issue with the fireplace but the owner responded quickly and it was fixed asap. One bedroom upstairs needs some furniture for storage (there is a closet and luggage rack). The kitchen was well stocked and the hot tub was great (and on a covered porch). The owner provided beach towels as well as plenty of blankets and linens. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again!

Husband and moye rented this place to go and see snow! Everything was perfect! Beautiful views! Cabin and hot tub were just right ! Comes stocked with dishes which was also helpful! Connie is the property owner and is very easy to reach if needed! Our first family vacation was made perfect with this cabin!

Peaceful stay
The cabin was very nice and just as described. We stayed in the winter and the hot tub was great in the cool air with the sound of the creek rushing nearby. If you are expecting to see the mountains from the cabin, this is not the place. We preferred the peace, privacy, and the amenities of the house. We would definitely stay again, maybe in the spring.

I like vacation homes that are simple and therefore easier to be kept clean, and this one fits me perfectly this way. It is in a very beautiful community spread out on a hill and this cabin is not very up high and we do not have to deal with any steep road or difficult parking, which fits me as well. It has a golf course on the right side of the road that leads to to the cabin, and hiking to the hilltop of this community is one of my favorites about staying in the cabin. The fireplace is lovely and very easy to use. The whole cabin can be kept warm using both the AC heater and the fireplace easily. Cooking is also convenient there. All beds and showers are comfortable. Laundry is easy to use. Having 2 extra twin beds in one of the bedrooms is a big plus for families with multiple kids. Easy to bring our own movie subscription channels to TVs in the cabin and we enjoyed many movies together, you just need to remember to sign out when leaving. There is a Publix nearby with 10-15 min driving. In this community, all guests need to throw away garbage to a designated waste service on their own though, but since we ran into both Christmas day and Sunday in the last two days of staying and the service was closed, we had to leave the garbage behind with some cash to the housekeeping. I wrote the owner a message explaining that and she nicely replied and told us it is ok to do so. It is only 15 min driving to the Cataloochee Ski Area, 15 min to the Soho Fall, and 15 min to the Lake Junaluska, and 15 min to a nearby town called Waynesville, which has all the great restaurants and grocery stores. The owner gives very clear steps on how to check-in, check out, and things we need to bring and take care of before our arrival. Everything is great with this cabin, we highly recommend it!

The sheets in the bedroom up stairs with one bed was dirty. Found a dirty towel mixed in with clean up stairs. Really noisy when someone is walking up stairs over living room. Need a little bit more yard with fire pit. Those little things were all. It was a very enjoyable stay.
