About this house rental
Elegant oceanside house on a gorgeous ocean front property in upscale North Topsail, just a short driving distance from Surf City and Sneads Ferry. This is one of the most exclusive and serene locations on the island. It is part of a private luxury community that is not open to public access.
This particular unit is an end unit, and a taller high rise which gives you immaculate, views (Definitely the next best thing to being oceanfront). It is part of a small, intimate community that will make it easy for children, teens, and adults to meet other families vacationing in the area, and make friendships that can last a lifetime.
This part of the beach is secluded and quiet, giving you and your family excellent beach access. The beach itself is very clean, and offers plenty of space for you and your family to spread out and relax by the sea. There are breathtaking beach views from both the front and back decks, allowing you pristine views of both the sunrise over the ocean and sunset over the sound. (See photos) You can actually see the waves from the living area, and from the kitchen while eating or cooking, or even while enjoying an evening in the hottub on the top balcony. You can even see the sun rise over the ocean while lying in your comfortable oceanfront bedroom, or relaxing on any of the 6 private balconies. 3 of the 6 are privately attached to individual bedrooms.
Not only is it furnished for supreme comfort, it is spacious and is decorated to make you feel completely at ease and relaxed from the moment you walk in. We made this our home away from home and it is decorated that way. The high top resin deck chairs make sitting on the deck like sitting on a thrown. The view is breathtaking. A centralized elevator makes it easy for guests to unload luggage and groceries, or move from one floor to the next.
The property has an enormous, oceanfront, community pool reserved for community members only, and sits on a private and secluded section of North Topsail Beach. The home has its own private parking and beach access (no streets to cross of course because you are on an ocean front lot already). Ample parking space will allow you and your guests to park comfortably, easily accommodating 6 or more cars, with a 2 car covered garage. You just couldn't find a better location.
This home is newly built in 2020, originally as the private residence of the builder, and purchased in June to serve as a rental property. It features top of the line appliances, furniture, and stunning upgraded accents. It is tastefully decorated and features quality fixtures and flooring. There is a well appointed kitchen and comfortable furniture throughout the home. You will be amazed at the quality of the granite and tilework. (Many upgrades that are definitely not typical in a rental home!)
The home has WiFi (wireless internet), 7 TVs, including one personal television per bedroom, and a Blue Ray DVD in the main living area. A home office with two computer desks and superior comfort computer chairs is provided for the convenience of remote workers and digital learners. Sleeping accommodations include 2 king beds, 3 queen beds and 1 pyramid bunk bed.
Topsail is a great place for families and fun. Enjoy quiet relaxation of the ocean breeze, watching the surf from the comfy high top resin deck chairs or a moonlight walk on the beach. You can visit the local golf clubs for a quick round of golf, or the nearby marina for watersport rentals, or charter a deep sea fishing expedition.
The home has a private access to the beach directly in front of your door. This access is for villas drive rentals only. Enjoy watching the children play on the beach right from your deck or fish off the beaches right in front of your home. This property is also walking distance from the North Topsail Fishing Pier where you can fish for Spanish Mackerel, Spot, Blues, or many more. This pier is also a great place for an evening stroll with an incredible view.
Due to an upcoming change in the HOA rules, this house is now no longer pet friendly to guests.
Enjoy walking for literally miles on clean white beaches looking for prehistoric sharks teeth (Topsail is one of the few areas on the east coast where they are easily found) or gather shells or 'sea beans' (small polished pebbles) for your collection. Visit the famous Sea Turtle Hospital here on the Island (one of the only hospitals of its kind on the East Coast) or stop at one of our local shops and pick up some fresh homemade fudge, pies or seafood.

Overall it was a beautiful home and we would stay there again! Gave 4 stars only due to little things like many burnt out light bulbs, mattresses dip in middle, dirty fridge water and a burner on the stove didn’t really work.

The location of the house is ideal with the beach only a few yards away. Four of the six bedrooms have decks- (2 look towards Ocean). Entry to the house is at the garage level. There are 3 bedrooms on each of the next two floors. . The shared space ( kitchen, dining room and living room ) is on the top floor of the house.There is an elevator, but we were told not to use it because it needed repair. The house owner let me know that the elevator could not be repaired before the end of the stay.
The house is lovely, but there are some essential items should be replaced. The dish washer does not clean properly. .When we arrived, there were dishes in the dishwasher that were not clean. We ran the dish washer but it was not effective . After that, we took turns cleaning the dishes by hand.
There were only 3 stemless wine glasses and one stemmed wine glass in the house. We purchased plastic cups to use during our stay.
To use the grill would have required that we undertake a major cleaning job. Check-in instructions are that if you use the grill you replace the propane and clean it when you leave. We did not use the grill. When we checked out we saw a maintenance person at the next house cleaning the grill at the next home and filling it with propane which seems ideal.

The elevator was so helpful, tons of parking, beautiful views, pristine beach with lots of shells only steps away, great pool, warm hot tub, comfortable beds, super clean, a high chair and pack n play for my 2 year old…. So many good things to say. We hope to come back.

Our Host was so courteous, prompt and helpful. The home is beautifully located with a community pool and jacuzzi at the house this was a perfect addition to an already nice home.
The suggestions given in the binder for great places to eat was extremely helpful! I suggest both Rick's and the restaurant at SPLASH by the SEA (next door and walking distance) . Reservations at both places will be needed during peak time.
I enjoy cooking and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed for meals in house .
It is an understatement we had a very relaxing vacation and wonderful experience .

This property was beautiful and very clean. It is a great location and provides us with excellent beach access and access to a great pool. One issue was the “pay it forward” system. When we arrived there was no toilet paper. That seems like a basic need that should always be stocked in the house. Also, a house that size should have more than 1 bath towel per room.

The walk to the beach takes just a minute and we enjoyed sitting poolside after after long walks on the beach. Makes vacationing with small children easy, so close to the beach where you can spread out with hardly seeing other beach goers. Elevator all the way to the top floor also makes it easy to get organized and out. Great bedding, exceptional TV's and I love the pay it forward concept. This was by far the most professional, accommodating, caring landlord I have dealt with in 20 years of visiting Topsail Island. The house was exquisite just as described, perfect location, amenities to spare. Everything was perfect upon arrival - landlord was available and helpful throughout the stay. I usually bring everything but the kitchen sink, but it was not needed at this beach rental. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything that was needed to prepare meals throughout the week. Multiple pans and baking dishes, crockpot, electric griddle, and mixer were provided. High chair and baby gate also provided lunch on the deck. I literally went from deck to deck for ocean views as well sound views. The hot tub facing the ocean was everyone’s favorite! The walk to the pool and beach was easy for a family with grandchildren. Never had we access to the garage and although we did not park our car in the garage, it was a great place to store our toddler’s beach cart and sand toys. The elevator made moving in and out a breeze! The beds were high quality along with the bedding. We have never stayed in a rental home more than once but our entire family agreed that this was a “keeper”! My husband and I along with our 3 adult daughters and their families plan to rent this house every year. There was plenty of room for both family time and alone time. No more searching for the perfect beach house - this is it!!!

This is a beautiful place. It was perfect for our stay. Our group was 3 generations, all adults, and included elderly parents/grandparents. The elevator made it so convenient for them.
The kitchen is well stocked. The living area is set up nicely for visiting and has plenty of comfortable seating. The balconies are great, facing both the ocean and the inter coastal waterway. The house was a nice combination of gathering space and lots of areas for people to have solo quiet time.
The owner, Thomas, was very helpful. He provides lots of good information about the house and the area.

Great place in North Topsail!
Started with good communication from the property owner, Tom. He called to give instruction on the elevator and the overall operation of things. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, and different pans and pots, which was great, because we had very young children that don't do well in restaurants. Bathrooms were excellent with strong water pressure. The elevator made it easy to load and unload the cars. Beach access was awesome, and there were even a few beach carts left behind that we could put all of our kid stuff in. The beach was loaded with shells, and polished rocks that kept the kids busy for hours. Surf city is a short drive away. We took the kids for mini golf and ice cream. This is just a perfect place for families with small children. We would like to stay there again!

We had a wonderful stay. This house was perfect for our family- plenty of space, the beach was so close it was great with the little ones to go back and forth. I ve never stayed in a VRBO that was so well stocked with kitchen accessories. I normally travel with my own things, but was unable to this time- they had everything we needed and more! Our only hitch was the beach was not accessible to wheel chairs. Luckily our person was small and we were able to lift her beach chair up and down the steps.
