I value my rest and simply could not stay, Irony - guests are advised to keep tv down after 10pm

I did not stay due to seriously unacceptable noise, so I did not get the chance to have the breakfast I paid for. I hear it is nice! Asked for refund less laundry fee, after much contact - offered half.

“If you wish to reverberate in your bed as you’re trying to sleep, then this is the place for you” - a quote from the visitor book. Wish I’d seen this before I booked. They must have been in my room.

The music would put me off staying again.

It was clean and comfortable

Very loud live band played in the bar till midnight. It would have been good to know this was going to be the case. It wasn’t mentioned during booking or check in. Poor management.

A nice relaxing place to stay, close to all amenities. Good food served by nice people.

We liked the breakfast room. It was particularly nice as it was also serving locals with coffee etc. A nice atmosphere. A good coastal walk to the centre.

A bit close to the road but that can't be changed.

disappointing

Had to wait till 3.0 in pouring rain (on motorbikes, to be let in. (luckily, we were allowed to leave our stuff in a front room). Positioned above a pump that kept us awake all night.

Smashing hotel. Lovely staff.

A very comfy, small hotel about a 10 minute walk from town. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our meal in the restaurant at night and fab breakfast baps in the morning. Nice shower too.

We had a lovely break and would use this hotel again.

There were many things that we liked. The location is fantastic, the staff were lovely, the breakfast was very good, the parking is good, the rooms were clean and quiet.

In my parents' room there was a problem getting hot water. There was no hot water in the sink and although the electric shower ligh was on and functioning, there was no hot water. The plastic trim on the shower door kept falling off. Hopefully someone can look at these issues so that other customers will not have this experience.

can’t say enough good things about this place! the staff were absolutely awesome. the most warm and friendly place we’ve stayed. they went above and beyond to make our stay great! if you are coming to Newcastle this is the place to stay!!

Just wonderful just what I needed!

Breakfast was excellent with great service. Staff very friendly, nothing was too much trouble, checking on a regular basis if you needed anything.

Perfect location right on the seafront, food was delicious, room was spotless and the bed was comfortable, staff were warm and friendly, will definitely come back!

very disappointed for my net I paid-

location- ideal for my activities

after travelling all day, was looking forward to a bath but there was no hot water- no hot water in morning for a shave - thank goodness there was a shower . heating wasn’t on in room when I arrived - all staff away at a party- only one staff member on duty

Idyllic

This townhouse was very idyllic, and what looks like recently refurbished. The views by the sea had a lovely cosy atmosphere to it. Great facilities & very accomodating!The food & bar was brilliant, live music on a saturday night, had no reason to leave. The cafe where breakfast is served was 10/10! Gorgeous!

Nothing! The only thing I would recommend on return is requesting a sea view room!

Fabulous dinner, lovely breakfast, very friendly atmosphere in bar / hotel. Staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly.
