Location great, property not

Location was great

Layout of property was awful. You could hear everything from next door. Sofa very uncomfortable, broken stool in bedroom been glued back together. Lounge not been swept bits every where. No hanging facilities in other bedroom. Had to go downstairs for toilet in the night. Very disappointing for the price of it.

A wonderful stay in a clean and convenient flat

Lovely flat, bigger than we expected and very well appointed. It was extremely convenient for everything in the village and very peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Communication was very easy and prompt.

A very minor point that was easily solved but we found there weren't any bin bags or dishwasher tablets so if you are on your way there you may want to bring them, and also shampoo and shower gel

Pleasant, clean but not ideal for mobility impaired, disabled or elderly guests.

The property was immaculately clean, and ideally equipped for a short stay.

Although I was aware of the stairs to access the property, there are further stairs up to the 2 bedrooms, with the toilet located downstairs, so if you require a toilet on the same level as bedrooms this would not be an idle choice. Also the noise from the road and amusement arcade is not horrendous it is still there, however not as bad as the noise from the adjoining apartments and the fire doors banging, which are totally needed due to the layout of the apartments. The other issue is the parking, again not located as stated in this listing in Booking.com as behind but over a very busy road behind another row of commercial buildings in a public car park.

Wonderful Apartments Right in the Centre of Seahouses

The apartments were very well equipped with everything we needed for a short stay. They are in a fabulous location in the centre of Seahouses close to the harbour and all the bars and restaurants.

There was no hanging space in the twin rooms in two of the apartments so we had to hang a few things in our friend's wardrobe. More suitable maybe for a couple and 2 children rather than a group of friends. Also a shelf in the bathroom would have been useful.

would stay there again if l am in the area.

It is well placed it the centre of Seahouses and although l had reservations when l discovered it was above an amusement arcade and expected it would be noisy, it was not, in fact l couldn’t hear any noise from below or outside.The facilities were excellent with everything you could possibly need, especially in the kitchen. l arrived by bus and it was only a short walk to the apartments.

It doesn’t look very inviting from the outside and entrance but don’t let that cloud your judgement.

Can't wait to book again and return.

Honestly one of the best bookings iv done in the location, me and my partner have a week in seahouse/Bamburgh every year and this place topped them all will definitely book again. with view of the ocean, it was quiet, and it was central to all pubs and restaurants and a short drive for plenty of places to explore.

We really enjoyed our stay, the location is excellent, we felt right at home. We would definitely return. Even though the apartments are above the amusements and looking onto the main rood you couldn't hear anything.

My suggestion would be a better shower. Also some bits in the kitchen like salt, pepper for guests to use.

fantastic time overall and would recommend and stay again.

fantastic location, well equipped, very comfortable, everything we needed was there.

heated towel rail downstairs wasn’t working so bathroom was freezing. would prefer something at the windows as it didn’t feel very private.

Exceptional!

The property was amazing! it has all the facilities you could ask for plus more! It is very cosy and I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone staying in sea houses. There is nothing better than coming back to a lovely clean apartment after a long day of walking!

Very comfortable stay in a well appointed apartment

Good location, centre of Seahouses. Parking permit available which is a bonus, instead of having to pay for each day of your stay. Apartment up 2 flights off stairs. Small very well equipped kitchen, small lounge, overlooking the main road, quite quiet. Nice welcome pack, milk, cereal, water orange juice,tea, coffee, butter. V Nice bathroom, large spa bath with shower over, Bedrooms, a single and a double up 2 flights of stairs. Comfortable and quiet. Washer/dryer also available if staying for a longer period. Emma very helpful with instructions for accessing apartment and leaving.

Two small issues, as there is no bath screen around the bath, water tends to go everywhere. Could not locate a hairdryer, contacted Kate, double checked all cupboards, still no hairdryer and because it was a weekend no replacement was available.

Beautiful accomodation

Beautiful,clean accommodation. All modern appliances.Lovely towels and bedding.Nice touch with milk,water, orange juice etc in the fridge.

There were no blinds or curtains at the living room/kitchen windows. It would make it cosier especially as the weather is changing.Lots of stairs so not suitable for the less mobile.Could do with an outside security light as it's rather dark at the entrance in the evenings.No hanging space for clothes in twin bedroom. Had to keep going into other room and interuppting co guest.
