You'll love Just-A-Mere Beach House with an open airy floor plan and lots of windows framing the serene beach, Gulf and Bay views! Indoors you'll find soaring ceilings and fine finishes including crown molding, beautiful plank wood floors and travertine tile. Head to the kitchen to enjoy granite counters, glass tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances and wine refrigerator. Outdoors, you'll enjoy the sea breezes and Gulf water views from the double decks with plenty of comfortable seating.

Stop by the nearby Blue Water Bar & Grill for lunch or utilize their convenience store to snag some basic supplies and beverages, fill your bait bucket and/or rent a golf cart. Enjoy the Gulfside's uncrowded pedestrian beach (no cars allowed for 300 yards but golf carts welcomed) where you can setup your group's spot for the day on the beach to build sandcastles, jump in the frothy surf, find unique shells and sand dollars, boogie board, shore & surf fish and build an evening bonfire while you listen to the waves under a sea of stars. Or if preferred, utilize the available launch for your boat or fishing pier on the bayside. So much to do so little time!

Most people come to the area to spend quality 'non-commercialized" time with family, extended family, and friend on a clean beach with excellent fishing conveniently located between Galveston and Surfside Beach. It is close enough to take a day trip to Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, Pleasure Pier and The Strand, or grab lunch/dinner at the numerous waterfront restaurants including the Sugar Skull Rolling Cafe or Beach or Beach Front Deck Bar & Grill in Surfside.

I cannot even begin to explain how happy we were with this rental. The view from the deck, the comfort and coziness of the inside of the home. Space for everyone. We had lots of small children 6 and under, and this house had everything already in the house we forgot. It was the best experience. We will definitely be back.

Heaven
This house was AMAZING! The pictures are nothing compared to in person. The beds were extremely comfortable as well as the bedding. The views are so beautiful. We stayed for my dads birthday and everyone enjoyed it. It was more than I could have asked for. The patio picture apparently isn’t updated because there was so much patio furniture. We honestly wanted to sleep on the sofas and lounge chairs outside. I will definitely rent this property again. Love that the beach was private. Almost forgot about all of the card games and board games. Great job on the property!

Perfect family vacation house!
We truly enjoyed our stay here! The house was very clean, in a great location (good access to beaches, easy drive to Freeport if necessary) and had a great bedroom set up for our group. Six adults (3 couples) and 4 kiddos. The deck was a fantastic place to hang in the evening and there were plenty of games and puzzles for the kids!

This property is great. It's just down the street a little ways from the beach access. The layout of the house was perfect for our families. The only con is the lack of toilet paper and trash bags.

Beautiful, Functional Home
This property was roomy, comfortable and well equipped. For people who like to cook the gas stove was AMAZING and the wine fridge an added bonus. It's remote location meant the beaches were less crowded and the neighborhood more quiet than the others we've rented on the west end. I would recommend this property if you want a well-equipped, more remote location.

House not directly on beach however very nice view of the gulf while at the house. Walk to beach in two directions. Nice fishing area from bridge going into the bay area.
