Nice vacation spot. Beach is private since you can't drive on the beach in that area. Kids enjoyed playing on the beach and looking for crabs at night with flashlights.

This house was perfect for our family of 5, although there are plenty of beds for bigger families!
The kitchen was fully stocked and the bathrooms had extra TP.
The views are lovely, we had lots of wind and rain but that didn’t stop us from enjoying the balconies and the beach. We even spent some time on the porch swing.

The house is just feet from the beach. It is well equipped with beach toys and games for the kids. The host provided special touches that made us feel welcome and at home. It is our second time to stay at this property and we are already hoping to be back next year.

This house has it all in terms of fully stocked kitchen and excellent location just steps from the beach. There were a couple of issues related to cleanliness when we arrived, but management made it right. I would stay here again - being able to take a walk on the beach any time day or night is a huge plus. One suggestion is to put a curtain or shade on the window in the trundle room (looks like something has been there in the past but has fallen down?) because the sun comes up and shines directly in there in the morning. The master bedroom door is warped and does not remain closed, but i think that can be easily adjusted. Just a few tweaks and this is easily a 5 star stay. We look forward to coming back to see how it's improved upon.

We all had the best time at the krusty krab. Everything , literally everything was provided. The home was immaculately clean. The view of the gulf was the best ever. The beautiful sunrise from the master bedroom so romantic. We took a late night stroll on the beach to see the night stars. With the beach only a 100 feet away it was a no brainer to enjoy the beach day and night. We made burgers on the weber grill. Cooked breakfast each morning in the fully stocked kitchen. Staying at the Kristy Krab you will not miss being at home.

I stayed at the Krusty Krab 4th of July 2023 weekend. House was very nice, with great views of the beach. Even though its a second row house, it feels like first row. Check in and out process was very each with great communication from owner. We would definitely stay here again.

We are a family of 6 adults and (5 kids - ages 5 to 10). All the adults stated it was the best place on the beach that we have stayed. It was spacious and very clean. The view of the gulf was great and the short walk to the beach was fantastic. Especially for the kids. It was well stocked with everything needed. All we needed to bring was clothes, beach towels and food/drinks. Loved going through the front door up the stairs to the upper level and not having to climb stairs on the outside of the house. The beds were comfortable. The deck had a nice big table to use for some of us to enjoy our meals outside.

All the adults rate it the best property we have stayed at on the beach. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Short walk to the beach and a good view of the gulf water from the decks and front windows. Very well equipped. Only needed to bring our food and clothes. Great people to deal with. Bernadette responded quickly to any questions I had. The five kids ( ages 5 to 10) had a great time.

The first day we arrived, Bernadette was nice enough to let us check in an hour early. We tried to go to the beach, but the mosquitoes wouldn't let us out of the door. We looked around for bug spray, but didn't find any. We put that on the list of things to get at the store.
That night we were getting ready for bed. My son asked me why there were ants all over the bed. Sure enough, ants! They were crawling on the ceiling and dropping onto the bed. They swarmed the master bedroom, the stairwell and the other upstairs room. We moved all of our stuff back downstairs and sent a text to Bernadette. She was very apologetic. She said that her brother had experienced the same thing at his house in Houston the week before. I took a picture of 2 of the ants to show her what kind they were. My kids were freaked out! This was not how we wanted to spend a relaxing vacation!
Next day, we couldn't wait to get out of the house! We went to the water park to get away. No beach towels, so we added that to the list. When we got home, I was going to do a load of laundry. No detergent. Add it to the list.
That evening, we waited for the ants to return. Every couple of minutes, my kids would run up the stairs to look. We were on pins and needles. No ants that night.
I requested a refund of one night from the management company. I sent the pictures that I took of the ants. After about 2 weeks, they said they couldn't refund any money due to "Insufficient evidence".

We come to Galveston every year for Thanksgiving, and this is our new favorite house! Would love to return again next year. Clean, updated, decorated cute and modern. Very very kid friendly, had tons of kitchen supplies that made it easy to cook Thanksgiving dinner! Not first row on the beach, but you still have a great view and easy walk. Communication was great before our trip, absolutely zero complaints. We all loved it, thanks for sharing your home!

We loved staying at the Alvarado’s beach house. The house was outfitted with everything we needed and more. We cooked most of our meals at the house and it was nicely appointed with all the must have utensils and pans needed. The location was perfect as it was quiet and on the beach. We were able to come and go to the beach as often as we wanted without making a big production to get down there. The owners were very attentive and responsive. I highly recommend renting this house if you are planning to stay in Galveston and want to get away from the crowds for some quiet relaxation. The west end is very close for off roading in the sand dunes and there is a grocery store nearby. There is also a great restaurant called Nate’s down the road with great portions and good food. We checked out the marina for the subdivision and it was very nice and convenient if you plan on bringing your boat with you.

Perfect week with our family, the weather was great, the water was clear and beautiful. Our kids absolutely loved this house, the sunrises and sunsets were amazing from the deck. The house had everything we needed, the outdoor shower was great so we didn’t track too much sand in the house. Loved waking up to the sunrise through the master room door every morning. The ability to walk to the beach was crucial. Our 94 year old mother was even able to walk it . Be aware there is another house in front of this one , so note quite unobstructed view of beach .

The house was very clean and we loved how there was a fully stocked kitchen with all the essentials. It was so nice to have kids plates and bowls and a high chair and a pack’n play that we didn’t have to pack. We had a great view of the beach and the check in and check out process was so easy!

We loved our stay! Beautiful home, amazing views!! You won’t regret staying here! We will def want to come stay here again. It was like we had our own beach to ourselves. Our boys ages 11,10,7,and 6 loved being so close to the beach. Far away from the hustle of Galveston- but still nice restaurants and pizza nearby. The decor of the home is lovely. House was clean except for what appeared to be multiple urine carpet stains throughout the home from previous dogs/visits.

Very lovely home, wonderful views, super close to the beach! This home had everything you could ever need for your stay. You can tell the owner is very thoughtful because of all the amenities provided. Plenty of towels and wash clothes, trash bags, dish & dishwasher soap, hand soap, laundry soap, even boxes of tissues. They even had a small portable fan, which was helpful in the kitchen and a lantern for night time crab hunts. Plenty of extra batteries for remotes and even light bulbs. There were things like foil, press n seal and even extra storage containers for leftovers. Very thoughtful and caring owners. The beds and pillows were all very comfortable. Plenty of comfortable seating inside and out. Enclosed shower was great, but some hooks would have been helpful for hanging towels and suits, but there were hooks inside on entry level that worked fine. Lower entry was really nice with benches and hooks for keeping beach items downstairs and reducing sand tracking upstairs. Entry and main floor stairs are inside and air conditioned which was appreciated when carting luggage and food up to the house. Overall we enjoyed are stay very much and appreciated the owners attention to detail and thoughtful touches throughout the home. We will absolutely stay here again!
