About this house rental
Newly remodeled and expanded in 2020 within walking distance to Mandalay Beach in the peaceful Dunes area. Open floor plan with oversized kitchen island and private backyard with BBQ and ping pong table. Shuffleboard, chess table, poker table or even classic arcades for the kids will keep you entertained indoors. Take an excursion to the Channel Islands National Park; Main St shops in Ventura; visit Ojai or Santa Barbara nearby, or just enjoy the beach a short walk away! Entire duplex with no shared walls was completely rebuilt and expanded in 2020. Quartz countertops, rainfall showers with glass tiles, stainless steel appliances with an open space concept make the space beautiful and functional. Kitchen is stocked and organized for guests who want to cook. Outdoor patio table with seating for 6 and kids sandpit with toys so guests can relax outside.

My two oldest grandsons and myself stayed and enjoyed our time here. Everything was great and the boys had fun playing chess and ping pong. We will be coming back soon.

We had an amazing stay, whatever you think you might need for an awesome vacation, was readily available here! The home was very clean, newly remodeled and was even better looking than the pictures depicted. It was a very quiet neighborhood and the backyard was big with great amenities for my family. I will definitely book this place again in the future. The host Johnny was super responsive as well!

The property is an 8 min drive to South Jetty/the hot pocket (aka Mothers Beach). The unit was well equipped and the kitchen was nicely labeled to make things easy to find. We had a few hiccups during our stay (couldn’t get in one day; water stopped) which can happen; but Johnny was so great and easy to talk to really not a big deal at all as it was all immediately handled. The unit is very cute and comfortable. Internet worked great - I was able to work from here while the kids were in surf camp. Great experience, we’d definitely return.

The property is amazing! Super location to the beach, lots of good access to parks, restaurants etc. The backyard is perfect for family and my grandsons loved the sandbox! Such a bonus! We would definitely stay again!

Johnny's place is totally and beautifully remodeled, and it was done with quality and style. My family of four enjoyed our stayed there very much. The house comes with games, bikes, boogie boards, electric scooters, ping pong table, big screen TVs .... etc to keep your whole family entertained. The nice backyard is like a mini private resort; very relaxing! I highly recommend it.

Johnny's house was clean and stocked everything we needed for our stay. It was exactly as what it was described. On the day we arrived, Johnny greeted us at the entrance and showed us how to use the keyless door lock. We enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful time there.

Perfect Family Beach Getaway
This place was perfect from start to finish! The pictures are a wonderful representation of the property. Beautiful and easy home layout for family and friends to enjoy a quiet time away. So much to do for entertainment in the home, we never even left to go to the beach! The hosts were so kind with very detailed guides, directions and suggestions and very quick to respond to any questions. Looking forward to our next visit ASAP! Thanks again for everything!

Great clean house - good for families
Bunk room with video game, shuffle board, outdoor fire pit. Very clean, newer house with nice interior decor. Two electric scooters are a big bonus.

It has a upstairs tenant with shared driveway parking, two parking spots are allocated for the unit. The property had numerous upgrades, video games, shuffle board etc. and was very clean with the exception that the dishes and glasses had heavy soap deposits? The only other downfalls that we noted was the entry was located in such a manner that every time you entered or existed you had little to no privacy. This was primarily because you faced two units next door that had a full view of their living rooms and the occupants inside. We thought that some kind of privacy fence or barrier would have been very nice so you didn’t see the neighbors and vice versa numerous times daily. The fully fenced backyard was beautiful, however for some reason it did not have a gate to secure it? We had our grandkids visit a few times and had to chase one of them down because there was no gate... Again, overall very, very nice duplex unit, it looked almost brand new...

The property is spacious, well decorated, very clean and organized, and extremely family friendly. The amenities had us never wanting to leave the house - except to walk less than 10 minutes to a gorgeous beach. We loved the outdoor entertaining area for roasting s'mores as the kids enjoyed the sandbox. This really was the perfect place to spend a vacation together, Thank you Johnny and family!
