The cottage and garden were perfect for us, loved our surroundings, peaceful walks with the dogs ( tho they became a little noisy with other dog walkers). The biggest dissapointment was distance to the beach and trekking over the sand dunes. Not a problem if we were all 10yrs younger, but overall beautiful.

A great village to stay, and super close to a glorious beach and a better than average, but expensive pub!
The accommodation was clean and comfortable, but, given the price we paid, I would have expected the kitchen to have salt & pepper mills, cling film, and some coffee. The oven is exceptionally noisy once you have switched it off and some of the dishes in the drawn under the oven were absolutely filthy.
The downstairs shower room stank, no matter what we tried, and the pressure from the shower was not that good. Upstairs, the water pressure in the main bathroom was useless. The garden was nice and the BBQ was an added bonus.
There was no welcome letter / pack just some hand written notes blu-tacked to the wall. Again, given what I paid, it just seemed a little lacking in customer care.
We enjoyed our stay.

The house was very well set out has a lovely closed in garden in a quiet location well suited as a base to visit the local area . A nice walk to the lovely dog walking beach which takes about 10 mins . overall a very nice place to stay

The only disappointment were bathrooms ,and no welcome pack ,but on the whole lovely cottage and garden aloso lovely walks were great, but would stay again

Quiet location, 6 minutes walk to the beach. Ideal for walking along the coast. We parked the car and enjoyed the cottage facilities, lovely enclosed garden. The weather was good we went walking every morning, and chilled out in the garden. Enjoyed sitting in the conservatory in the cooler evening. Peaceful location, only noise was from a few passing cars and the sound of horses hooves along the road.
Pub nearby, but no shops. We had a Tesco food delivery. Used the BBQ and mostly enjoyed the garden sitting reading and relaxing.
Loved the house, lots of DVDs, books and games to choose from it was well stocked.
Lovely place to chill and relax.

Great overall property
Nice long garden for the dog as well as a walk towards and through the golf course to the beach
Idea location to visit hunstanton

Had a lovely time in the cottage it was well equipped and felt like home from home.
The extra room for washing/drying etc was brilliant and didn't have a problem with the walk in shower although small it was functional.
my only critic but on a personal level was the beds seemed very soft.
When we arrived we were not aware that the local pub was closed for refurbishment which was a shame as we wished to walk around the village rather than having to drive at night. If this could have been relayed by the owners before we arrived it would have helped.
The facilities were wonderful, a lovely place to stay and would consider staying here again.

Great location not exactly equidistant between the pub and beach but its very close . Cottage has everything and ideal and practical if you have a dog, plus a nice big garden for the dog to roam.
4.6
Love this cottage warm and welcoming, perfect for our dog holiday. Miles of beaches & pubs in Hunstanton (cafe shut for refurbishment) to enjoy. Will be back again no doubt!

This is our 2nd time at this property. Beautiful cottage in a perfect location, close to the beach, pubs & shops.
Well equipped with everything you coild possibly need. The addition of the new wet room has certainly added to this cottage, however it wasn't key to our return. We will be booking again.

We have just returned from a very relaxing 4 days at the cottage . It is ideally situated for long dog walks , either in Land or on the beach . The amenities at the cottage are excellent and it has everything you’d need for your stay . We will be returning in the new year to experience more of the surrounding area .

This is my second stay at this cottage and I love it. I really don't understand the negative reviews. The cottage is clean, the beds are comfortable, kitchen well equipped, there is a lovely conservatory and a good size garden. The refurbished downstairs bathroom looks good and the shower is great.
This is an old cottage and as such doesn't have high water pressure but it is more than adequate. I really think that the people moaning should perhaps look at booking more modern properties

Great trip.

Excellent holiday. This is our second visit two adults and three dogs. Weather was kind to us. We managed to take advantage of the garden which was well fenced and totally safe for the dogs. The cottage was warm enough that we didn’t need to light the wood burner. Kitchen well stocked. Lounge cosy and comfortable. Beds very comfortable. USB charging station on the landing very very useful. Ten to fifteen minute walk to the beach (or five minutes to the White Horse pub depending on the time of day).Turn left on the long sandy beach (dog friendly). Walk 2 km to the Beach Cafe for an amazing breakfast. Walk back through the sand dunes. We’ve already booked again for next year.

We were so delighted on the day we arrived to find the most charming of places, only to be very disappointed quite soon, no welcome pack 😒 I begin with, the shower/wet room is not fit for purpose can’t swing a cat in it let alone try to have a shower! The bedding did not feel clean along with the general cleaning, not up to par.the sofas were past being serviceable,I could go on but no room left ,we always make sure our dog is up to date with all his flea/tick treatments before we spend time in someone else’s house, but my husband was bitten by fleas to wire some extent, obviously sofas etc were not cleaned properly, we almost came home mid week as we were so disappointed with what could have been such a lovely stay.

The House was cozy and comfortable, well equipped and the contact to the owners was very friendly . The near and far surrounding area was awesome .

Such an amazing location for the beach at Holme. Beautiful secluded garden and excellent facilities in the cottage. Will definitely come on a return visit. Thank you.

Lovely cottage to stay with a dog

Very comfortable and well equipped accommondation with sun trap garden in a great location, being just a few minutes walk from the beach and pub. The 'entertaintment' at the pub must be experienced - check out the bad reviews on trip adviser ! We found it very amusing !

House needs modernisation

Had a very nice week at jasmine cottage, was only a short 5-10 min walk down the lane to get to the coastal walks. The Cottage was clean and tidy and had everything we required, with a nice garden. Hunstanton only a short drive or a long walk along the beach. Would recommend a stay especially if you enjoy the coast.

Good overall
Have stayed many times
Disappointed no logs left for wood burner

Lcve this cottage perfect for long beach walks with our dog.
4.6
The cottage is lovely from the outside and its position in the village is perfect for walks on the beach or to visits to the pub! However, the cleanliness of the property was poor and everything is very tired. Downstair shower cubicle has black mould and is very small, kitchen fridge doesn’t shut properly, and the units are of poor quality. The heating is provided by storage heaters which were ok but rusty. The heat loss in the property must cost the owners a fortune!
4.6
The cottage was lovely, as per the description. However, if the cottage is let out in winter, improvements need to be made to heating. The cold weather was exceptional but I am still disappointed at the coldness in most of the rooms. Night storage heaters in most rooms and tiny radiators in the cloakroom and kitchen were the only heat sources, resulting in great discomfort. I luckily brought extra blankets and slept in extra layers of night clothing but still the house felt cold, except at about 3am. The house temperature spoiled the holiday, despite lighting the log burner in the evenings but, of course, that could only be done after going out for dinner, for example. Warm and cosy it was not.
4.6
Great place for dogs local pub and beach, shower was hard work, and bed was a tad uncomfortable, but a lovely cottage with a huge utility room, large freezer and conservatory.
May go back in the future

Lovely cottage with everything we needed. Perfect for our dogs with large enclosed garden. Great to be able to park on drive and close the gates so dogs were extra safe. Beautiful location with gorgeous beach within short stroll from cottage. Nearby Hunstanton has all you need including supermarkets & dog friendly cafes. Snettisham beach nearby is gorgeous as is all the coastline in North Norfolk. We visited Cromer, Sandringham and the Broads. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return. Thank you for a much needed recharge 😍😊

Conveniently placed near the beach and a wonderful local pub

I don’t think we are saying anything different having now read previous reviews. The cottage needs a new cleaner, I would definitely fire them. Cobwebs everywhere and shower room was filthy., well the majority of downstairs was actually and it made my sister itch all week. The shower itself was pitiful. Dog poo all over the garden. The double bedroom needs a new mattress. It was so lumpy I had to sleep on top of the duvet to avoid the springs digging in my back. Having had an all electric storage heater property myself I would install a pump on the water tank and put solar panels on the garage roof. The heating was erratic. No fused switches were on but the old creda storage heaters were doing overtime - must be costing the owner a fortune, plus the fused spur in the downstairs bathroom wouldn’t be obvious to other parties to switch it off. Need a sign on the downward step Mind The Step! Infact move the shower into the large laundry room and put the washer and dryer in the downstairs bathroom. Plumbing and waste already there and they would definitely fit. For such a great location, an update, clean and minor renovations would pay for itself.

Great for people with or without dogs who enjoy the outdoors ❤

Well equipped and good for us

We stayed for a week with my two teenage daughters and our double doodle Molly. Cottage had everything we needed and garden was large & secure for Molly. We loved the location. & was a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed lots of walks with Molly & visited the local pub several times. We were lucky with the weather & enjoyed many beach days. The surrounding beaches are all lovely. We had a great stay & would come back again.

Sublime to ridiculous experience.
Excellent location, superb garden, studio, garden furniture and conservatory. The premises were extremely well equipped throughout. Could not fault the kitchen or lounge, except that the settees were very soiled, and needed cleaning.
The low beams in various parts of the property are dangerous and cause pain (as we discovered). This factor should be a flagged warning within the description.
Three bedrooms - one wardrobe - no further comment needed. The situation re showers is ludicrous as many other reviews have highlighted. The opportunity to install a proper shower in the enormous laundry rom has been missed.
There was so much to enjoy about this property, but due to the factors listed above, we are, at present, unsure as to whether we would wish to return in the future.

Absolutely loved the place and its location. Great house and garden with a 10 min walk to beach with loads of walks and places to run. My kind of wide beach with good sand and plenty of private spots. And I saw a seal on the beach 30 meters from me when walking the dog, how cool is that! Also not far from Hunstanton which in my view is nice, we loved Sea Life.. On the down side, the place could do with a bit of a deep clean which perhaps is what we expect when we’re paying customers. That said, it didn’t bother me too much and we would most certainly love to visit again. In fact, I wouldn’t mind living there. Overall, we enjoyed it so much more than our holidays to Cornwall

It was great for us to get away with daughter granddaughter and our dog. A very homely property with a very dog friendly garden. Everything was as described in a quiet location with a great local pub. Excellent parking off road and plenty of walks nearby.

We love staying at the cottage and was going to rebook for next May - but with the surprised price increase we sadly aren’t going to bother.

This is a lovely spacious property, we have stayed in twice before.
The tiny downstairs shower room is appalling. We thought it would have been updated by now, but it hadn’t. The shower head just dribbles. Such a shame as the rest of the property is very comfortable. We won’t be returning unless we hear the shower has been renewed.
