I have been renovating unique properties in Visalia for short and long term rentals, for several years and I have been on airbnb the same amount of time. The great thing about the location is that it is a few blocks from the Medical Center, the Convention Center, and downtown Visalia which is where all of the nice shops, restaurants, and bars are located. Rawhide Stadium is 3 blocks away. You will also have quick, easy access to the freeway.

This is an urban area with small, older homes and some apartment complexes. The man selling elote might come down the street ringing his bell, and sometimes people play their music outside..There are also beautifully-restored historic homes in the neighborhood.

You will be 45 minutes from the National and State Sequoia Parks, and 1.5 hours from the beautiful Central CA Coast and the Paso Robles wine region!

This location allows you to walk to the shops, restaurants, downtown night life, and likely to work. This is a great benefit as parking is challenging. Most, but not all, of what you need or want is walking distance from the apartment. There is some public transportation available but it is not comprehensive. Uber or rental car is recommended.
