3 Bedroom self contained Maleny property on 2.5 acres with spectacular views of Sunshine Coast and Glasshouse Mountains! Sleeps 7 people comfortably (2 queen beds and 2 standard single beds with 1 trundle). There is a wrap around balcony, 4 burner bbq and outdoor settings, with flat grassed grounds for kids to kick a ball around. Plenty of spaces to relax around the property and watch the world go by !

The Bails on Mountain View House has a modern fully self contained kitchen, clawfoot bath, pot belly fireplace in lounge room and is fully air conditioned for summer. Peace and tranquility is assured in this amazing acreage property, located on Mountain View Road in Maleny.

Close to all Maleny restaurants and cafes, art galleries, shops, parks, botanical gardens, bush walking tracks and wedding venues (eg, Tiffany's, Maleny Manor, Little White Chapel & The Old Dairy). The Bails is located 3mins drive to main street of Maleny (Maple street) and 12 minutes to Montville. Located less than 100km from Brisbane and Australia Zoo is 15 minutes away. It is an ideal weekend escape from the city for couples and families looking for relaxation.

It is also perfect for wedding guests and wedding photos with beautiful scenic backdrops including the old milking bail shed and the swing chair under the old jacaranda tree facing the Glasshouse Mountains.

We had an amazing time at Rachael’s place. The house sits on a beautiful block and the view is incredible. The house has a really homely feel and is well equipped for a family holiday. Such a relaxing place. Rachael was a pleasure to deal with and very helpful.

The view was amazing! It was exactly like the photos because the Jacaranda flowers were in bloom. Not having the internet or the TV was challenging for the kids and the FIFA world cup lovers. Overall it was a very relaxing place with clean facilities for the whole family. We will return....

A lovely homestead house renovated to take the view into consideration. Although it rained on our weekend stay and we couldn’t take advantage of the swinging garden chair, the house has been renovated to be able to appreciate the spectacular glasshouse mountains from the warmth and comfort inside. A wonderful place to stay

The house was lovely and lacked nothing. The fire in the living room was especially appreciated as unfortunately it rained for nearly the entire stay. A few glimpses of the wonderful view were had, perhaps a second visit will be required....

Wonderful property sited on the edge of a range to give a world class view of the Glasshouse Mountains. Plenty to see and do in the area, not far from Maleny, a welcoming tourist haven. Rachael is a wonderful host and was most obliging in posting to us some items I had left in the bedside drawer.

Beautiful views

The weather was perfect and the grounds were gorgeous. Comfortable beds. We went hoping to work on lesson plans and course work but there was no internet?? We were not able to get any work done and had I known we would have rented elsewhere. We also found mold, dust, and spider webs throughout the home. Good thing I love spiders :) The kids had great fun running through the yard and it was a short drive to everything.

A great property that was easy to book and arrange everything. Clean and bright with amazing views. Fantastic place to feel like you a million miles away from everything. Didn't want to go anywhere while we stayed as we just wanted to look at the view. Shower will be tricky for anyone with balance issues or dodgy knees (but it is a beautiful bath!)

The property is a little strangely laid out, and is still very much a "cottage" feel - but the grounds are incredible. The view is tremendous, and we found out lunch guests got distracted and ended up gazing over the hill at the mountains. Great spot - looking forward to returning.
