About this house rental
Pelly Place is a light, bright and beautifully styled 4 bedroom beach cottage perfectly located only 400 metres from the main street of Dunsborough. The house is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac so it's perfect for families or for groups travelling together.
Featuring 1 King Bedroom with ensuite, 2 Queen bedrooms, and a children's room with bunk beds. The cottage sleeps up to 6 adults plus up to 4 children.
The open plan living, dining and kitchen area is bright and spacious and perfect for relaxing and enjoying your holiday.
The well-equipped kitchen includes electric oven and six burner gas stove, stainless steel fridge-freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and Nespresso machine. There is also an array of cooking equipment, utensils and even a few staples available to use.
Should you opt to eat out, town is just a 400 m walk away where there are plenty of cafes, and restaurants and we are happy to provide recommendations for you.
There are two bathrooms - an ensuite with new double basins, rain shower and toilet and the main with renovated shower and toilet.
There is reverse cycle air conditioning in the open plan living and dining area and also in the Main Bedroom.
The cottage opens out onto a sunny back deck with a HUGE grassed lawn and swing set to entertain the kids! There is a BBQ for use. The house also has everything you need for children from port-a-cot, high chair, stroller and plenty of toys, games and books.
There is a single garage and ample parking available on the property, with a large driveway for an additional two cars.
Cleaning Fee of $150 per stay and $100 Linen Fee per stay.

The location was amazing and the house was lovely, spacious & comfortable

While the house was in a good location, the house was quite rundown and cleanliness was not up to scratch.
The DVD player does not work, the compendium mentioned the Play Station console yet we couldn’t find any games for it, the kids equipment advertised was great however there was dirt/dust/cobwebs in the garage where it was stored which meant everything was dirty and some items were broken, tyres on the bike flat, outdoor table was covered in dust and I had to clean it before we could use it, hardly any pegs to do our washing (and a lot of what was there were broken). We were a little uncomfortable with the cameras at the house (we stay in Dunsborough twice a year and have never encountered this before).
The beds and linens were comfortable and clean, the batteries were a welcome addition as the nightlight had run out as was the pram as we had inadvertently left ours at home.

The house is older but well presented and maintained - charming, warm and comfortable. It’s in a perfect location - walking distance to town and the beach. Very enjoyable.

The place to stay!
Location is great, 5 min walk from the ocean, 5 minutes walk from Dunsborough center and a quick drive from main attractions and tourist spots.
The property is very well equipped (from kitchenware to children’s toys) and could actually accommodate two families (assuming you don’t mind only one couple to have a “proper master’s bedroom” with en-suite bathroom).
Seems like they have done pest control lately, would probably need another small touch up for it. Aside from that really perfect stay

Easy access to beach and Dunsborough town. Spacious, outside back porch lovely to sit out, good amenities with a good supply of basics. Beds very comfy.

We had a lovely stay at Pelly place with our children and parents. It was a perfect house for the kids with everything you need there and it’s in an ideal location to be able to walk to the beach and the town centre.

The family including grown up kids and 2 partners spent a week at Pelly Place. A lovely older property really close to town with lots of space and a lovely garden for those days when you just want to stay home and relax! We have been holidaying in Dunsborough for 8 years now and I think this was probably to best house we have stayed in. We loved the location, many coffee shops within a 5 minute walk and the same for Cole’s, restaurants and the beach.

With a lovely beachy vibe, this property is perfectly located only a 5 minute stroll from the centre of Dunsborough. With 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms there is plenty of room for the whole family or a group of friends. A bit surprised to discover no door on the master bedroom, which is accessed down a small corridor (which does have a door). But the lack of a bedroom door does somewhat limit the use of the second bathroom, which is next to the master.

The property is just 5 minutes walk to the beach in one direction and the shops in another, so couldn’t be more convenient. The property was quite spacious and had everything required for a comfortable holiday. One bathroom appeared to have recently been renovated. Highly recommended.

Great location, easy walk to beach and town. Perfect spot for exploring Margaret Rover region and all it has to offer. Family friendly - kids loved the backyard and swing set. Also great having books and games on hand.

This is our second time staying at Pelly Place. The kids were sooo excited to go back to ‘their’ holiday home and they couldn’t wait to play with the outdoor playground and the toys in the children’s room!
With 4 adults and two kids we had plenty of space. We can’t wait to come back again!

We loved our stay at Pelly Place! So many thoughtful touches that make the place homely and comfortable. Plenty of room for two young families, and the backyard is just made for kids to play in. The location is brilliant - we took many bike rides into town to get coffee, past the fairy garden and nature playground. Check-in/out process was easy & communication with Natasha was great. Thanks for having us! We will be back! :)

Mini Break
We are Grandparents from the UK who are visiting our Family in Perth after a long long absence. So this is a little break away to celebrate. The property was lovely, well appointed, lovely and clean, excellent garden. Really lovely time, would recommend.

Lovely and clean, walking distance to town centre. Well equipped kitchen including coffee machine. Sleeps 8 and provides seating for 8 (lounge and dining). Plenty of room to spread out. A very nice place to stay.

Everything supplied
We loved that there were kids toys, a pram, bed rail as well as salt/pepper/oil etc supplied with the house. My family and I agree that next time we visit the area, we will likely book this place again. The size of the kitchen, lounge room and backyard was great, beds comfy, everything was perfectly clean and minimalist. It was in a fantastic location. My single criticism is that the kitchen knives all seemed quite blunt!
