A fantastic hideaway cottage stay

Beautifully designed and located private cottage for a couple tucked into lovely rainforest in a valley at the bottom of farmland. Buying food or eating out requires a bit of a drive and it is good to check in and unload in daylight so you know the long entrance track before you return from dining out.

Nothing apart from the previous occupants having turned the floor heating up rather higher than we prefer.

Happy relaxed recharged Beautiful place

Beautiful place the hideout in the bush away from the city nice and peaceful place to relax to hear the birds sing beautiful lullaby’s really enjoyed my stay beautiful layout of room nice and clean would definitely come back to get away and recommend to my friend and family

Lovely Quiet surrounded by nature, loved having a shower looking at the trees , would have loved to book a massage as there is one locally that comes to you , as time restrictions wasn’t able to , a big towels was a bonus

Nice accommodation, access tricky

Clean, lovely furnishings, high quality

Location was more remote than expected, access via a very steep at times, gravel, unsurfaced road - check your car will cope with this first!

Peaceful and reastfull

Very peaceful surroundings, nice clean accommodation. Our stay was only one night but we felt comfortable and enjoyed the property.

Property initially a little difficult to find. would have appreciated a tea towel and cloth to wipe down kitchen area.

A lovely little hideaway for a couple to go and relax & enjoy each other😍. Definitely recommend!

The bedroom was good sized with ranch slider opening onto the deck which was awesome. The shower was open and spacious (plenty of room for 2😁 ) and I liked the fact there was no TV, great for relaxation and conversation. An amazing little place for a couple to escape to and enjoy nature as your views & background sounds.

Overall, we had no complaints and these 2 things are just for awareness as opposed to real dislikes. There is no air conditioning, there's fan in the bedroom which is helpful, and the lounge/kitchen/dining area is a little cramped. But we feel the focus is definitely on the bathroom, bedroom & deck areas which make up for this.

An amazing place!

The little houses are wonderfully located. You are surrounded by nature and a close drive to Te Arai Beach (where you can take surf lessons as well). We only stayed for one night but would have loved to stay longer. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The place clean, sunny and the oerfect size for two ppl with baggage. We would definetly come back if we could! Very good prize for what is offered.

Found a hidden gem

The room was beautiful, view was beautiful. Everything about this place is amazing!

The room can get quite hot at night and the sheets on the bed are noisy but those are only very minor things.

Petit coin de paradis!

Les cottages sont juste magnifiques, décorés avec beaucoup de goût et très propres. Et que dire de l’environnement extérieur, WoW!!! C’est tout simplement sublime! Se réveiller au son des oiseaux au milieu de la nature est la cerise sur le gâteau. Emporter simplement un bon livre et détendez-vous… Vous êtes arrivés dans un petit coin de paradis!

Excellent quality cabin, lot of TLC went into it. Very quiet, priceless views. Very nice host.

Absolute luxury.

Spacious, peaceful setting, comfortable bed, incredible bathroom, underfloor heating and deck overlooking forest. A very therapeutic place.

A lovely spot to escape to for a relaxing break!

What an incredibly relaxing location! Really didn't expect the peace and quiet surrounded by beautiful native trees that we got! Nice and handy to amenities but far enough away to enjoy the solitary of nature!

A peaceful country retreat

Lovely design and top quality build. Very peaceful in the bush and we even went for the little walk to the rock falls. The communal undercover space would be great for groups.

Wonderful hosts who have put a lot of love into their accommodation offering. As a space that is warm and comfortable, you really do feel relaxed as soon as you open the door. The interior has been well considered to create an atmosphere of welcome.

Beautiful gem - the perfect escape from the city!

Well presented, clean and comfortable, and the booking process was a breeze! The place had all the amenities we needed for our short stay. Also pleasantly surprised by the neat little communal space on site, so will definitely be coming back with friends! A true hidden gem, close to the beach and just the perfect escape.

Very good

Tranquil location set amongst nature, cozy and comfortable property. There's even a cute little walk through the sheep paddock, down to a small waterfall. Very relaxing, a nice escape from everyday life.

Too hot, because we couldn't keep the windows open at night as the bugs would fly in. Windows need to have fly screens installed.
