Beautiful home, great location, slightly steep driveway. Would definitely go back.

The cabin was exactly as pictured and very clean. Lots of space to move around and the master bedroom was huge. It was very close to downtown and the grocery store. Deck was amazing and the view was great. Only issue was that we stayed for 8 nights and were given only 1 laundry pod, 1 dishwasher pod, 1 roll of paper towels, so be sure to bring your own if you're staying for more than a few nights!

Awesome property. Interior nicely decorated. Lots of pots, pans, utensils in kitchen. Nice deck although view of river obscured by trees. For those who want to avoid wall to wall people, Bryson City is small, not too crowded. Between Bryson City and surrounding area, plenty to do. Property manager was awesome. The only complaint is nearby dogs barking. Sort of a rural area and sound carries a long way. One dog like to bark a lot and apparently owner was deaf.

We absolutely love this property. We use VRBO frequently as we prefer to stay in a house rather than a hotel. This place exceeded my expectations. Plenty of seating in the living room. Bedrooms were a nice size with comfy beds. Two awesome bathrooms that were clean as they could be. The porch wraps around the house.The hot tub was sparkling clean and is conveniently located. Loved the local farm animals (chickens & a pot belly pig) that visited. Kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed to cook our meals. Conveniently located close to Bryson City. Only thing I can suggest is better signage on the road to get you to the correct address. We came in late, it was very dark, and we ended up flagging down a local sheriff deputy to help us find the place.

We enjoyed our stay at Riverbend. The driveway up was a little questionable but the home itself was really nice and well stocked. Overall cleanliness was good, im a little OCD and there were multiple things that needed dusting and a more thorough clean. Beds were extremely firm. We very much enjoyed the hot tub and the amenities that staying in a home had to offer. Overall the home was nice and we enjoyed the convenience, everything was super close.

Fantastic house and area. Top notch rental agency. Literally everything you need is in the house. All kitchen items you can think of. Two huge bathrooms, amazing showers. Strong wifi through the whole house and outside. Tons of outdoor adventures to do in the surrounding area. You can fish at the river just down from the house. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Riverbend Lodge. The view was beautiful up on the mountain with the river running below. The home was exactly what we needed for our family. There were seven of us and never did I feel cramped. The house was comfortably furnished and newly redone. The bathrooms were very spacious as well as the bedrooms. The master bedroom had another TV and sitting area which was great for our three girls. The porch was huge with plenty of space. The fire pit area was also so fun. The views from the fire pit to the river were beautiful. The neighboring homes next door had farm animals which were so neat to see. We loved our morning visits from the two pot belly pigs. They were like dogs but with determination to eat all the acorns! The house was so close to Bryson City for our ride on the Polar Express. I would we concerned about the driveway had there been ice and snow however the rental listing was very clear about the need for potential snow chains or 4wheel drive. The hot tub amenity was great too but we unfortunately did not have time to enjoy it. The only recommendation is that I would provide more clear directions to the property with the driveway name or better landmarks. We arrived at dark and it was hard to find with the instructions provided. More details would be most helpful or perhaps a different address to provide for GPS. All in all it was amazing and we would love to rent this property again and maybe even in the summer!

This home is beautiful! It is perfectly positioned with a river view and vast views of the mountains. It’s less than 5 minutes from the train depot where we boarded the polar express. The home is well stocked and spacious and the deck space is awesome extra living pace. We also enjoyed the hot tub and grilling out one evening. Do note that it’s a steep climb to get to the home via the driveway, but it was nothing our minivan couldn’t handle. We will return!

This cabin is rustic with all the modern amenities you could want. It truly is a gem! Each room is spacious and the master is exceptional with a wonderful soaking tub. The wrap around deck is gorgeous and makes for a great gathering spot. The view of the river is gorgeous as well from the deck. The kitchen and living room spaces are open and comfortable. The only issue is the steep hill to reach the cabin. You will definitely need a SUV.

We had a great stay at Riverview Lodge. The description of the cabin is right on. The cabin was great for a large family. We had four adults and three children and had plenty of room. The cabin is very convenient to Bryson City. Personnel of Yellow Rose checked on us before our stay and while we were there. We couldn't get the gas logs lit and the management had someone there soon after to turn them on. I would definitely stay here again and use Yellow Rose.

Perfect river view close to downtown Bryson City.
We have stayed within a 100 mile radius to Bryson City on 4 occasions within the last year. This particular VRBO was by far our favorite due to location, rental management and most importantly cleanliness. This cabin offers plenty of space and an open area to enjoy a quiet get away or your friends and family being well like mine…fun and crazy. Good view of river from deck, but the best of all was s’mores at the fire pit and spookie stories. Thanks for helping us make good memories.

We stayed at Riverbend Lodge in June. The rental is listed at a front wheel drive required and I contacted the agency in advance to verify that a front wheel drive would be adequate. We have stayed in Bryson City many times and are familiar with how the mountain roads and driveway conditions can be so I verified to be safe. We were told that a front wheel drive would be fine to access the property. Upon arrival, the road was difficult to climb but we managed. We saw the cabin next door to us was under construction which we were not informed of in advance. The construction was not major issue for use until they decided to start grading the driveway while we were gone to town which we were also not informed would be taking place. When we returned to the cabin a large amount of loose gravel was added to the driveway and we could no longer climb the drive. After multiple attempts and 15 minutes of work on the road by the construction company we made it up. The trips up and down the driveway completely destroyed our tires and we had to purchase a completenew set upon returning home. We contacted the rental agency with pictures of our tires and our concerns. They initially responded basically saying sorry but nothing they could do and never responded to the 2 additional emails I sent. I was not requesting new tires or full compensation for those tires but I did feel that a discount or some partial compensation was warranted. The lack of response really spoke to how little they value their customers.

Great stay with Family
This cabin was beautiful and very clean. We had An amazing time. The only down side is the location. There’s farms around the property with cows and chickens and dogs. And there was no stair way from the deck to the fore place. Other then that we had a great time and loved the cabin!
