the hotel decoration is so beautiful! the room was spacious (We booked the junior suite) well equipped. the staff were very friendly. the location is superb.
I wished they added a bottle of water at the room. they have kettle and coffee and the room. but there is no water. I don’t know if tap water was drinkable.

I made a deposit for my room and the amount has not been returned to my bank account for 4 weeks now. I made many attempts to address this issue with the hotel, yet the concerned department is not returning my calls. This is unprofessional and inconvenient.

Convenient and price was lowered 2 days before so , good price and loved the bar on 10th floor. There is no free breakfast included and it’s limited what they do have for sale.
No microwave in room, parking is valet only and we needed stuff out of our car several times .

My only complaint is not having a vending machine anywhere. I needed something sweet for a medical reason and it was pouring out. Unable to walk to 7-11

Great location, walkable to campus and off-campus areas and near everything you need. Coffee was really good. Fun rooftop bar. Decor is fun-old school collegiate. They allow pets, which is awesome!!
Parking was outrageous. Charging $35 overnight on a non-game day weekend is ridiculous. Alternate is to park your vehicle in nearby garage, which incidentally is also where the valet may park your car, I know because asked. I parked for free in a garage a block away. I was not the only person complaining about parking during my visit.
Room - not as clean as I would expect an expensive. The glasses were dirty, I wasn’t sure the bedding had been changed and both gave me the ick factor. It was late, I was tired, so I just used the other bed which seemed clean, luckily I was traveling alone.
It was a bit noisy, but not terrible.

We SO enjoyed our stay at the Graduate! We actually looked up other locations and can’t wait to visit others. The aesthetic was very pleasing, and fun to notice the details and small things that you can’t experience at a large corporate hotel chain. Beyond that, we brought our two dogs and they really made us feel welcome and our dogs felt comfortable there. Our room was right near the elevator which was the only main issue, so they did tend to bark here and there whenever they head footfalls or chatting as folks came to and from the elevator, so a room further down the hall might have benefited everyone.
We were pleased by the location, pleasantly surprised that we came during East Lansing’s Pride event which was a blast, and so many cute parks, spots on campus, and other sights to see in walking distance. Our only real gripe was no free parking options. Other than that we really had a fabulous stay.

They only had a small coffe shop. It would have been nice to have a restaurant or breakfast area in the hotel. Also the coffee shop closed early. Otherwise, the old school atmosphere was cool and the hotel made it special since it was during graduation. Staff was. Friendly. Room was small but nice.
Breakfast options could have been better. Also, the price of the room skyrocketed since it was graduation.

The restaurant does not allow minors after 8 PM. This is a little early for cut off. I was traveling with my 13 year old. We had to walk in the freezing cold to find another restaurant. It was very disappointing.

I be loved the Graduate house University theme. Even the key cards looked like college ID’s! Very unique and clever! Extremely clean and in a perfect location!
It would have been nice to have a mini fridge.
