We read a couple of reviews that indicated that the glass door was obscure due to sea salt and needed maintenance or replacement. Management responded and said they were taking care of the problem, so we rented this place. When we arrived the glass was badly obscured and ruined 50% of the view to the bay (which is the ONLY good thing about unit). We tried several times over 4 days to reach management to relocate to another unit, they NEVER responded. Spoke with one management personal and she said the would give a partial refund if they couldn't find another unit. Never happened and never called back, so we chased them for 3 more days. We have rentals ourselves and this unit suffers from years of deferred maintenance. refrigerator makes so much humming noise you can hear it at night; dishwasher does not work properly and does not release the soap. Showers have mold and need caulking. I am sure the HVAC systems are not serviced so probably full of mold. My wife is sensitive to mold and had issues with her hands during our stay. The shower upstairs was a slow drain and clogged which they finally came to clear on the 4th day. When we arrived there was hair left in the upstairs showers, my daughter had to clean it since they never responded with a cleaning crew as they promised. I think the philosophy is they just hand you a sanitizing wipe like they do on the plane and you're on your own. Two beach chairs were broken, the beach umbrella fell apart, the list is long. Stay away!

Everything was fine for the most part. The towel fixture in the upstairs bathroom is coming out of the wall on the right side and the upstairs bathroom sink cold water handle is loose and spins around. Needs to be tightened. Also on the last day there both the upstairs and downstairs smoke alarms started chirp due to low batteries early AM. The downstairs one did start to sound off later that morning which was a little unnerving. There was no smoke. Other than that we had an enjoyable time.

Was a very nice, clean unit with beautiful views & nice furniture. Only negatives were an obscured view as the door glass in the unit was bad but an easy fix. The pools are not heated unfortunately. Would definitely stay here again if available.

Beautiful location with great view and walking/hiking trails close by. Condo was nicely decorated and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment. Living room sofa, chair and decorative pillows could be cleaned. Nice breezes and the fans and ACs kept the condo cool and comfortable. Tinted film on the slider was peeling off and view was comprised as a result. Beds were comfy.

This vacation rental was wonderful, and we would definitely stay here again.
Pros: LOCATION: Close enough to Lahaina and Black Rock beach, but enough removed that you're not in the thick of the huge resort-city to the south. Also, the nearby restaurants, coffee shop, grocery store and farmers market were a huge perk. Happy hour next door is AMAZING, so just do it. SNORKELING: We went snorkeling every day at different locations. In the end, the bay that you access right from the resort property was by far the best. So many sea turtles, plus we saw an eel, octopus and many, many fish. The only catch is that getting in/out can be tricky if there are oceans swells, as there was the majority of our stay. We did not allow our kids to come with us to snorkel in that bay, and I did not see any children attempt it while we were there. LAYOUT: We loved that the second bathroom and kids bedroom were located at the front of the rental, giving my husband and I privacy in the evenings in our loft bedroom at the back. CLIMATE CONTROL: I am not a hot/humid weather person. A/C was a must. Between the A/C and the sun screens (so smart!) our unit stayed very comfortable. VIEW: Ocean view looking over well kept grounds. We enjoyed watching the rogue chickens, sea turtles, and a random cat from our balcony. Grounds were quiet at night. Even enjoyed watching a meteor shower from the balcony during the nights we were there. KITCHEN: Was well stocked... even had a blender to make smoothies. SLEEP: Quiet and comfortable. Nothing kills a vacation like not sleeping well. Both my husband and I found the king bed extremely comfortable, and our kids also had no complaints.
CONS: The furniture does have some stains and seems worn. They could use an upgrade to take the unit to a higher level. Also, the chairs on the balcony were definitely worn from the weather. I was concerned they might give out. The kids couldn't get the volume on their t.v. to work. The water tastes pretty bad from the faucet - the water purifier made a huge difference, but the filter needed to be replaced. Although the kids' section is separate, all of the doors are plantation louver style (meaning they are not solid, but slatted). As a result, ANY minimal noise we made in the mornings inevitable woke up our kids.
OVERALL: We found this rental to be just about perfect for our needs, and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we ever return to Maui. Mahalo!!!

My family and I visit the islands almost every year to relax and visit relatives. On Maui, we normally stay at Honua Kai or the Westin Villas. This trip, we decided to try something new and stay at a smaller complex closer to our favorite snorkeling spots (Honokeana Bay, Honolua Bay, and Kapalua Bay. Best decision yet! This property is nice, pool is ok, parking was convenient...but the unit and views from the unit were absolutely amazing! That's why you want to stay here! From the unit, you can see the entire Honokeana Bay and Molokai. Gorgeous sunsets from the lanai. Condo was clean, updated, and had all the necessities needed to enjoy your stay. If you want to visit Napili Bay or Kapalua Bay, it's a short walk (better than trying to find parking in the small lots for each). Honokeana Bay is what we call turtle bay. Every day, you'll see more than 20 turtles (large turtles). Plenty of fish to see, too. Never crowded either. There are also tide pools just beyond the bay and some pretty cool stuff to see. Overall, loved our stay and the accommodations. We will definitely be back!
Also, a quick shout out to the property management company. Communication was easy and timely. Check in and check out was so convenient and smooth. It was nice that they regularly checked in with us (via text) to ensure our expectations of the accommodations were met.

The views were incredible! The property is well kept and we had no issues. While the unit is a bit older, the pictures are accurate. My favorite was the incredible snorkeling we were able to do right outside the condo! Tons of turtles!! We would definitely book again for another stay in Maui.

This property needs upgrading. The outside needs painting. The outdoor furniture at the condo needs to be replaced, recovered, and or refinished. It is very weathered. The couch inside is dirty and stained. Guests need to also know there is a flight of stairs to climb to get to the condo. The master bedroom also has a flight of stairs to it. I have mobility challenges and this was a struggle for me.
If you are looking for a peaceful not so touristy crowed stay in Maui this is a great choice!

This property was perfect for our family of 4. We had 2 toddlers and the twin beds and provided packnplay was perfect! The size of the condo and location couldn’t have been better. We saw sea turtles every single moment from our view. The grass for the kids to run was awesome. Will book again

We absolutely loved our stay and our condo! The view was amazing! We stayed from Feb 17-27. Saw tons of whales every single day. And turtles. Spent alot of time at Kapulua beach right next door, walking distance away. Had a chance to eat at Gazebos and Kitchen 5315 right next door. The hide-a-bed mattress in the couch was not the best. My teen ended up having to put the cushions of the couch on top of the mattress to sleep on. We debated on buying a blow up air mattress as any adult would not have been able to handle that mattress. Overall, loved our location and our stay!

This location has great snorkeling right out the front of the property. We rented snorkeling gear across the street and were swimming with turtles in less than 10 minutes. The condo has all the kitchen stuff you need to cook some meals in. Sunsets are beautiful from the deck. We would definitely stay here again!

Not only was this condo in the perfect location with gorgeous sunset ocean views, access to the best beaches on this side of the island, and top restaurants, it is also a sparkling clean well-appointed unit and a very comfortable stay. I can't say enough about this condo. Highly recommended!

Priceless views
We had a wonderful stay at this condo for a week. The view from this condo and the lanai is priceless! The mix of green lawns and bright bougainvillea, coupled with all colors of blue is magical and couldn't be captured in pictures. Everything we needed was provided, and the communication with the management team was quick and seamless. Also, the furnishings were classy and updated, unlike many places in Hawaii. Would highly recommend staying here! I took off one star because there was very loud construction taking place a few days in the condo right next door, which disturbed our baby. The property manager promised to provide us some kind of discount for this, but never communicated back and didn't respond to our text. Apart from this hiccup, it was a fantastic stay!

Napili Point Vacation
My family and I had a dream vacation! The view from the condo was priceless. Sunsets did not disappoint and coffee on the lanai while watching turtles surface is a memory I keep going back to.
We loved the family friendly feel of the property and took advantage of the barbeques, while also enjoying our meals at the picnic tables overlooking the bay, even if we got takeout. The unit had an ice maker and a coffee maker with filters provided and the local market sells ground Maui coffee!
There were 5 of us in the unit with enough room for what we needed. The only issue we had was that our son sleeping on the pull out couch would have probably preferred to sleep in later than he was able to, but with us up making breakfast, it forced him to get up and get a jump on the day (not so bad for the rest of us). The refrigerator may need to be replaced soon, we could hear it upstairs and it was a bit loud. We also had a problem with the dryer but the property management company was on it right away!!!!
Overall, a wonderful experience, we look forward to going back in the future!

We stayed at C40 for a week for a summer family vacation. We love Napili Bay and the Kapalua area and this condo resort is steps to the beautiful Napili bay beach which is perfect for families. Pros: Amazing ocean and pool view with great daybed on balcony area that was super comfy! Great A/C unit (3 units), when kids say to turn off the AC you know its an awesome AC unit, Master Bed & Bed linens extremely beautiful and comfy - thanks for spending more here! Master shower a bit slow to drain (pet peeve of mine but manageable), Kids bedroom (downstairs) was in a separate space offset from kitchen, living room & upstairs Master loft areas. Kids bathroom area large and nice. Good size space overall. Cons: Furniture, living room pillows, and decor in living room and downstairs kids bedroom could be refreshed a bit. The sofa is on the the harder side and not as comfy. There are tiny white ant/bug critters in kitchen but think this may actually be a resort problem as we didn't leave any out but they crawl around everywhere in kitchen, so be aware and put food away and wrap tightly. Overall great stay and would recommend. We will definitely return again!
