About this house rental
Bring your bags and escape to the West End of Galveston! This modern turnkey and newly renovated vacation home located in the Pirates’ Beach neighborhood offers vaulted ceilings with fresh natural lighting. The spacious centralized living area has a primary bedroom and en suite bathroom on one side with the guest rooms and bathroom on the other. With its large deck perfect for sunbathing and lounging, you can enjoy the outdoors anytime day or night. Enjoy time with friends and family in the downstairs area ready with charcoal grill and Ping-Pong table. Lounge in the hammocks or take a swing in the swinging bench. You have plenty of space for a relaxing getaway to the beach at the Pirates’ Bungalow. Just bring your swimsuits and enjoy all Galveston has to offer.
We offer almost everything you will need for a day at the beach, including a canopy tent, folding chairs, beach toys, boogie boards and a wagon to haul everything down to the sand. It is a quick 5 minute walk to get to the beach. We also provide beach towels to keep your packing to only the essentials. A refreshing spa-like outdoor shower downstairs will help you shake the sand and clean up before your evening activities.
To make sure you are fully rested for the next day of activities in the sun, we provide high quality and the softest bamboo linens and bedding, with brand new highly-rated memory foam mattresses on every bed. The updated bedrooms have room-darkening shades to give you a much needed break from a long day in the sun at the beach or in the bay.
The updated bathrooms are fully equipped with soft Turkish cotton towels, where you can take a relaxing shower with Paul Mitchell Tea Tree products, an aromatic line of botanical hair and body care products featuring natural tea tree extract.
The kitchen has brand new stainless steel appliances, and the essentials for cooking and entertaining. For those who start every morning with a cup of coffee, we offer a combination 12-cup carafe and K-cup coffee maker. Bring your favorite coffee grinds or K-cups. To stock up on groceries, there is a general store at the corner of the Pirates’ Beach entrance or a locally-owned Seven Seas Grocery just 4 miles away.
We do have three outdoor cameras, one in the carport, one in the driveway and one on the front door patio. This is for the security and protection of guests/hosts. There are no indoor cameras or recording devices.

We decided to head to the beach to celebrate my husband. The house was perfect for us and all our teens. Very close to beach. Roomy, comfy, well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Definitely would stay again!

My wife and I booked this cute bungalow, as we were having our roof replaced in Houston. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Close to the beach, like a 2 block walk, so we got our beach walks in and had a great time.
Had internet issues, but we were refunded for that. Al-in-all, it's a great vacation house with 3 bedrooms, kitchen and family room.

Great communication, clean and kitchen had everything we needed to eat in. Just a few minute walk to the beach and place had plenty of beach toys, chairs, and tent to use. Loved the hammock and balcony sitting area- great place to enjoy a meal.

We enjoyed our stay at Jeff and Ashley’s Beachhouse. It was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Great outdoor space, including shaded area on the ground floor - loved the outdoor shower. I would recommend this house. 5 minute walk to the beach.

I went with my wife and some friends as a weekend stay, and I could not be happier with the home. It was beautiful, great neighborhood and the beach was very close. A lot of extra amenities and effort than I have ever seen. Would absolutely book again!

This was a lovely, clean and comfortable property in a quaint, quiet neighborhood with a VERY SHORT walk to the beach.
We were in town for the Ironman 70.3 race in Galveston and it ended up being a great spot — about 15 minutes away from the race start. One pleasant surprise was the locked laundry room we had access to on the first floor, which was a perfect place to store our bikes so we didn’t have to cart them upstairs or keep them in the house, but they were still secure. The property also had lots of bonuses that we didn’t use — grill, ping pong table, beach chairs, toys— but they would be great for someone having a beach vacation with kids.
The hammocks on the ground floor made for lots of relaxing out of the sun, and the sofa and beds were all quite comfortable.
All in all, a great property in Pirates Beach!

If you are looking for the benefits of staying on the beach and being close to central Galveston, but a bit of seclusion and privacy for your family, this place is it. We enjoyed our time building memories before and after the beach at the multiple outdoor tables, chairs, swings and hammocks where we could comfortably dry off and enjoy snacks. The beach in walking distance feels private as the only people using it appear to be residents or renters of this small community and the shell selection was amazing throughout our 3 night stay. The home is well-equipped with a tent, chairs and beach toys galore so we thankfully didn’t need to pull out too much of our own items to then pack up at the end of the trip. Our family drove 15 minutes or so to Pleasure Pier area and spent an afternoon hanging out and shopping. Our kids were so glad to “get home to relax” after their excursion to the busier beach area. We cannot speak more highly of our hosts who checked in with us throughout the trip and were so accommodating in ensuring we had everything we needed to feel at home. We would highly recommend this place!

Had a wonderful stay at this property! The house is super clean, appliances are like new, beds are comfortable with nice pillows, sheets and blankets. Plenty of nice towels for bath and beach, lots of beach toys for our grandson to use, we could go on and on. The location is perfect, a very short walk to the beach which wasn't crowded. And Jeff and Ashley are great hosts and answer any questions very quickly.

We had a great stay in June. The property is well-appointed. We especially loved the privacy of the outdoor shower and all the hooks for drying beach things. Loads of beach gear to borrow was a huge plus. We could easily drive and park with an elderly family member to one of multiple beach access points in the community. We also loved the shade downstairs and the hammocks. It was perfect for our family.

Exceptionally Crisp Clean place with plenty of room for our large family (1 teen 2 tweens & a baby). Enjoyable outdoor space. Very well stocked, Jeff & Ashley have thought of every detail to allow you to plan a last minute trip to the beach and not have to pack anything extra. We can not wait to visit Galveston again.

We loved our stay, it was the second year we rented this property. The hosts were very responsive when we asked to check in a little bit early, and everything was wonderful. All the things that matter when you’re traveling with kids are perfect here. They have a pack n play, extremely comfortable beds (high end sheets and towels) everything you’d need in the kitchen, beach toys, and more! Super clean, fresh and just nice all around. We love this place and will stay again!

We loved Pirates Beach as it wasn’t as crowded as the rest of the island it seemed (Spring Break). The hosts were super friendly and the house was just what we needed for a quick weekend at the beach :) Thank you! Would rent again for sure!

The place was very clean and nice. It was stocked with everything we needed. We had an event in Galveston so we weren't there much, but there were board games, a ping pong table, baby swing and plenty of seating to enjoy. Would stay here again.

We rented this property to celebrate the new year with our daughter, son- n- law and their three children. The accommodations were spot on with the online description. The house was very clean and we found the beds to be very comfortable!!! There is a nice size wood deck off the back side of the house with ample seating. Beach access is an easy 5-10 minute walk from the house. We hope to come again soon.

We had the privilege of staying at Jeff & Ashley’s place and it is as advertised! The home is beautiful, and plenty of space for two adults and two kids. The house is a very short walk to the beach, and they have plenty of toys and a wagon to haul them in. Communication was great, and check in and check out was easy. None of us had ever been to Galveston and now we all look forward to coming back. Highly recommend this location!

Had an amazing time. The place was super clean and furnished beautifully. Very bright and lots of sunshine inside. The kids were never bored with the toys and activities provided.
It is about 2 blocks/5 min walk away from the beach. Very thankful for the beach toys and wagon provided.

The house was lovely! Comfy beds, clean, well stocked with cooking supplies, soft sheets, soft towels and lots of great beach stuff! I would definitely recommend this house, it had everything we needed and didn't have the extra clutter that some houses have, which was a bonus for the kiddos who like to touch everything. The location was great too, we were able to walk to the beach everyday. Thanks!

Fantastic experience at this bungalow. Was everything we could have hoped for while staying at the beach with 4 kids under the age of 6. Very clean and nice house. The host were very helpful and the location and this area of pirates beach is very family friendly. Highly recommend.

My family was in town because my husband was attending a conference. We wanted a home base where we could easily access the beach and be able to cook. This house was PERFECT for our family. The set-up is ideal (master suite on one side and other rooms on the other side), kitchen has more than the basics, the downstairs area is welcoming and entertaining, and everything is there! The beach is a very short walk and while we brought our own toys and wagon, we noticed the host provided one along with tons of toys. This stay and the hosts was easy and enjoyable. While the house was great for a family, it would also be a wonderful couples escape. The location is perfect (short walk to beach and easy drive into the town) and the house is cozy with really comfortable beds and furniture. Loved our stay!

We had an excellent stay at the property. Everything was on-point: the beds were comfortable, the home was clean, the amenities all worked great (washer, dryer, dishwasher, outside shower and footwasher, etc), the beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc) were all abundant and in good working order.
The couple of times I needed to contact the owners (things that were my fault, not theirs) they were very quick to reply and responsive.
Highly recommend this property. As my 6-yo granddaughter said - two thumbs up!

We had an excellent stay at the property. Everything was on-point: the beds were comfortable, the home was clean, the amenities all worked great (washer, dryer, dishwasher, outside shower and footwasher, etc), the beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc) were all abundant and in good working order.

Great Family Vacation Home
My husband and I decided to take our grandkids to this beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home for a mini vacation. Upon arrival the kids and I fell in love with the home and all of the extras that were provided. The hosts were very responsive and checked in on us to make sure we didn't have any issues with the check in process or needed anything else. I am already looking forward to going again with the family or a girls trip.

Loved the house, we will be back each year when we visit family. Extremely comfortable beds and bedding, perfect for our family of 2 small children. The best part is was the outdoor shower after the beach, so easy to hose the kids off after beach time!
