About this house rental

"Bay Breeze" is just that, a cool place to hang out and play and make memories. Enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets on the large, elevated deck overlooking the canal.
Bay Breeze is a 3 night minimum rental. If you are staying 2 nights, I may approve on a case/case basis, so you can request and I can get back with you quickly.

We have a Ring camera/floodlight above the garage door facing the driveway, trash receptacles and road/marina area.

Relax in the breezy living and dining area underneath while you watch the kids play, fish or swim. They will really enjoy the rope swing, kayaking or playing cornhole, our guest storage area has plenty of activities to choose from. Things don’t have to slow down in the evening; you can fish, stargaze, enjoy the firepit or cookout on the gas grill. The house boasts open concept living, dining and kitchen area. Primary bedroom has double glass doors looking out to the main canal and opens onto the wrap around deck. Master bath includes deep jetted tub and seamless glass shower. 3 bedrooms 2 baths which Sleeps 6 adults. Bedroom 1 has a king bed, Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and Bedroom 3 has 2 twin beds. All the comforts of home. Linens and towels included with full size washer and dryer on main living area. Ceiling fans in all rooms w/bedside fans in the queen bed rooms. 4 Kayaks and life vests, crab cages, beach toys, basketball, and chairs. ROKU TVs in all bedrooms plus larger ROKU TV in Living room for streaming. You can enjoy watching as boats launch at the ramp in front of the house. Community has a swimming pool, ($5 per person for pool) playground, and basketball court. Restaurants and groceries nearby.. Parties and Events are NOT allowed. Jamaica Beach Permit STR22-00232

I can't say enough nice things about our time at Bay Breeze. I believe the photos don't do it justice! The home amenities were exactly as described. The home had anything and everything we needed (and then some), I found our host, Ben to be friendly and helpful. All of the instructions were thorough enough, and the house was so well prepared, that we didn't have a need to communicate with Ben during our stay. With 160 reviews on VRBO alone, I anticipated that with so much use, the home may not be as clean and tidy as the photos. It was better! On a personal note, it was furnished and decorated in a way I would have done to my own beach house (if I had one :-) which made my time there even more pleasant. We're looking forward to staying at Bay Breeze again someday!

We spent 5 weeks here and absolutely loved it! The house was spotless and perfect for us and our dogs. We relaxed, kayaked, used the fire pit and enjoyed the gorgeous view. The hosts were responsive and helpful. Excellent experience and we will be back!

Our favorite spot to stay in Galveston area. Have stayed here 3 or 4 times. House is roomy, VERY clean, well equipped, comfortable, with updated and stylish furnishing. Cozy living room with big sofa and big TV; well equipped kitchen; beds and bedding are super comfy (I'm picky); nice big master bath; great toys: kayaks and beach supplies. Excellent communication from personable owner/manager. We'll be back.

The pictures do not do this house justice. It is immaculate and in pristine condition. They also thought of everything to make your stay as smooth as possible, like labeling the light switches and providing very clear instructions. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings. There is both a covered and uncovered deck, and you can see both the sunrise and sunset. It's the perfect place for a relaxing and restful vacation. We really enjoyed our stay; thank you!

My family and I had a quick weekend stay and would highly recommend this place for your Galveston trip. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, the house is well-appointed and comfortable, the area is a great location. Ben was communicative and extremely helpful as needed. We enjoyed the dock fishing, canal kayaking, and close drive to the beach. Such a fun stay. Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I and our adult son stayed at Bay Breeze for 6 nights. We specifically picked this rental because it was pet-friendly and provided "back yard" fishing. Our other son and his family from Tennessee were staying in Galveston for their fall school break. Our entire family is fishing crazy so this was the perfect setup for us. The house is fantastic and the host is too! There are a few items in the house that could use a little TLC, but nothing to keep me from rating this rental location and our entire vacation at 5 STARS!!!

At this location we didn't have anyone right on top of us. One side was an empty lot & the other side had alot of space in between us & the house on that side. The house was in great shape & felt very comfortable for our family. We definitely highly recommend this place. I can't wait to go back.

We loved this house! It was very clean and nicely decorated. The beds and couches were all really comfortable. But, the outdoor space was the best part of the house by far. We sat out by the dock, enjoying the breeze and fishing as much as possible. There were lots of chairs and a hammock to give everyone space to hang out. The neighborhood is in a great location, just a quick drive to the beach or the store, but nice and quiet away from the Seawall. We would definitely stay here again!!

I took my 11 and 5 year old boys for a boys trip and this house worked out great. They had tons of fun fishing and a bonus was the guest storage. Guest storage included scooter, kayaks, sand toys, and much more. The house was clean and well supplied. The owners did a great job communicating. They reached out everyday to check on us and make sure we enjoyed the trip. We will be back with the whole family next time and I’ll be bringing the boat.

This is our 2nd time staying here.We enjoy this property very much, very relaxing, we love the house.Our family is looking forward to making this an annual vacation spot. our only complaints are that the tv in the master did not work very often. The beds could use a mattress topper not as comfortable this go round, and was dispointed that there was not an out door BBQ pit. Will add these items to bring next time. We will be back.

This is our 3rd year staying at this property. We absolutely love the neighborhood and can enjoy a nice cup of coffee in the morning overlooking the water as the sun rises. We were close enough to Galveston to go into town, but far enough away from all of the heavy traffic and congestion. We enjoyed time at the community pool and most of all fishing over the green light. Be sure to keep an eye on your fishing pole or a fish may take it over the edge like it did mine. Do yourself a favor and book a getaway now!

well taken care of, beautifully decorated. lost computer connection to web - eventually we were reconnected (though hadn't known that help was available). living room TV and remote were not synced well - only worked to turn on/off and control sound; absolutely no ability to search/choose channels - completely missed 2 Astros play-off games! Some beautiful weather and lovely location for late fall.

We had an absolute blast. The fishing was perfect because of the corner location and a working greenlight. The house was beautiful and perfect size and location. We loved the catwalk, cargo lift, big porch, kids couches and hanging out down stairs. Really do recommend this house.

We loved this house it was just what our family needed. We had some issues with the living room TV, once we got that figured out all was good. Close to the beach, we rented a golf cart and travel to the beach on that. The neighborhood was quite which we like since we did have small children. Overall a great experience.

We had some much fun during our stay! The access to the channels/bay right off the dock was a game changer. We caught all kinds of fish and really enjoyed the peacefulness and vibe of this property. Debra was really easy to communicate with and the house had everything we needed! We will definitely stay here again!
