we only stayed one night but would happily stay again especially having booking options of small medium and large areas.

Close to all night life and the beach about a 500 meter walk. Although there was a mix up, on behalf of booking.com Mary went out of her way to make things right, we will be visiting again.

I would book this property again if I plan to go to the same location.

The property was completely standalone and we had a nice view on the top floor. Very nice facilities and well-equipped property.

I wish the whole property was booked just by one guest. The host was living downstairs. It is ok, just a preference.

It worked well for us and bookended 3 days along the Great Ocean Walk.

Mary (the hostess) was great. Really warm, welcoming and helpful with everything. Location was good and a 5 min walk to the beach. We were walking the Great Ocean Walk and were able to leave the rental car with Mary.

The room was smaller than I expected it to be and is tight for 2 people. Fine for an overnight stay.

Affordable overnight accommodation

Very friendly host. The room has satisfied basic needs. Coffee and tea facilities were available as well as an electric kettle and microwave.

The room was relatively small and dark. The windows were very small and let in light, but there was no view of the outside.

Simplicité et confort.

L’emplacement permet de se rendre à pied à Apollo Bay. Ça ressemble davantage à une chambre chez l’habitant qu’à un hôtel mais le concept est bien pensé et parfaitement conçu! Tout était parfait! Elle est équipée du minimum nécessaire (frigo, bouilloire, sèche-cheveux…)

Pas de petit déjeuner, dommage!

Small but comfortable.

Small but comfortable. Convenient location. Owner was quick to respond to my request for an iron and ironing board.

No full length mirror Bed covering too hot and heavy. For this time of year needs a light weight cotton blanket.

Pleasant

Location and hospitality were amazing

No air con , and screen door missing so had to have room with front door shut so limited air circulation in a very confined space

For a night sleep over is ok. The place is very small. No place to open up our suitcases.

Well prepared and provided everything you need for a sleepover.

It is very very small and you can hear the noise from up stairs when someone is walking.

We had the most comfortable stay and will definitely want to return again

We had the top floor with 2 bedrooms, it was so spacious and comfortable

We only got 1 tiny milk to share between 4 adult's

Great value overnighter for two or more.

The host Mary was there on arrival and opened the upstairs apartment for us or there were instructions on how to access if she wasn’t there. The place was clean and tidy and spacious for two of us in separate bedrooms. The new air conditioner worked effectively for heating. For our needs, value for money and just a one nighter it was ideal.

The towels were a bit small. There was one tea towel. All knives we tried for cutting fruit and vegetables were blunt. I had to use the serrated bread knife in the end to cut up a lemon. There were no cleaning supplies like Chux, Spray and wipe, sponges etc the usual cleaning equipment you have underneath the sink in a kitchen. Paper towel dispenser was empty. Some of the surfaces could be cleaned better. I did talk to our lovely host Mary and we discussed all these issues so hopefully when you stay they will be rectified.

Great cosy stay for our night of rest while passing through when travelling the Great Ocean Road.

We loved the heater (visited in May), tv, compact size of the place and how private it was. It had all the essentials including towels, tea, coffee, kettle and fridge. The keybox entry really helps with check in at any time.

The room is huge with beautiful decoration. The stove, dishes and sauce are provided. Even there is a massage chair. Everything is perfect. My mon think here is the best place she has lived in Australia.

Clean, comfortable place to rest

I enjoyed staying at Apollo Stay! No significant issues to report. Parking was easy. Wifi was strong. Everything was clean and worked as expected. Communication was clear. I slept well there. Easy come, easy go. I'd happily return.

The faucet on the bathroom sink was annoying to operate. It didn't adjust smoothly and went quickly from cold to scalding. Not a deal-breaker, though.

Good. It does exactly what it says on the tin, wish we could have stayed longer.

Great location and Mary, our hostess, was very welcoming. She showed us around the property and pointed out the massage chair - we all had a great laugh about this and all 4 of us used it! We, unfortunately, only stayed one night as we had finished The Great Ocean Road and were returning to Melbourne. Beds very comfortable and loads of space about the apt. When we left the next morning when Mary again and she advised us to visit a great Viewing Point up in the hills. Would stay again.

No complaints.

Plenty of space

Very spacious with entire top floor of house. 2 bedrooms both with queen and single beds. Beds very comfortable and terrific pillows and plenty of space. Blockout curtains to ensure sunrise didn’t wake us up. One bathroom but two toilets for added comfort. Open plan kitchen, dining and lounge. Large space and very comfortable.

The property is clean but needs a repaint to freshen it up. It’s spacious so very comfortable.
