Zentral gelegen, alles OK

Gute Lage, Parkplatz vor der Tür. Wir waren im Zimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad und keiner sonst im Appartment. Also prima. Überigens, das Appartment mit 3 Zimmern ist groß genug; ca. 60qm, also passt

WLAN sehr unstabil. Reicht zu surfen, nicht zu arbeiten. Dafür bietete die Empfang sofort den Zugang auf den anderen Netzwerk, also auch prima.

Friendly staff in a fantastic location with some noise issues

The guy at reception is super friendly and available to answer any questions or just to have a chat with! The location is amazing for the price, a short walk into Monte Verde town so you don't have to drive. There's also a kitchen you can use. The car park is big and the Wifi is really good. They have such a cute dog. She's a little nervous but I managed to get her to warm up to me after a few days.

The only thing holding this place back is the noise from the other rooms. They've just used wood paneling to separate the rooms so there's no noise cancelling at all! Even someone whispering in the next room you can hear. If this is sorted out this place would be incredible. Although, it is so cheap for the location.

VIP staff treatment

The staff were exceptional. Really made me feel like a VIP making my stay feel extremely special. They helped me find the perfect sunset spots and booked all of my excursions, etc. I liked being able to bird watch out the back (saw my first ever toucan), and the location is really close to shops and restaurants. The room I stayed in is extremely spacious, and I appreciated having a warm shower.

The weather was very windy the first day I arrived and I was very cold the first night, fortunately the room had multiple blankets. I would have liked to have the option of a heater in the room. After the weather improved I was fine. It's also located above a car garage, they get started quite early so it can be noisy in the mornings, but at least their singing is great!

Adequate facilities and location.

Close to town, large room, balcony view

Not as attractive as it seemed from the description. Some of the room facilities were broken - bathroom door wouldn't shut. Beds not very comfortable either.

Het appartement is wat gehorig, maar niet al te veel last van gehad.

We had a great night there and slep very well

Great location, friendly people and very clean and comfortable. The beds are exceptionally comfortable.

It isn’t the quietest but not terribly loud either—its near town, so dont expect absolute silence. This isn’t a big problem though.

La ubicacion era genial para nuestro viaje. El trato del personal genial.

La habitacion es sencilla, pero buen costo-beneficio. Lastimosamente las paredes son muy delgadas y estuvimos escuchando el televisor y conversaciones del a otra habitacion por un buen rato.

There is some kind of mechanic or workshop behind the hotel and creates a lot of noise in the daytime

Lovely big wooden room, fridge and dining table, comfortable beds, nice balcony, use of shared kitchen, helpful owners. Short walk to the town centre.

There is a garage below and a big car park so it can be noisy.

Small kitchen to make coffee, helpful sons of owner, fruit salad for breakfast, lovely dog and cat, good location in the centre of village, private parking

Mrs. owner speak only Spanish, older furniture, their terminal for payment with card didn't work.

A really friendly family-run motel. They go the extra mile... even picking me up from the airport in San José because they happened to be passing through that day!

Cheap place in the center.

Cheap place in the center of Monteverde. Staff is kind and friendly. Fridge in the room. Hot water in the shower. The shared kitchen is in an other building than the room, but clean and quite well equipped.

Weak wifi connection. Most uncomfortable bed I've ever experienced.

Central location close to store and restaurants, shared kitchen, parking available, fridge in room, warm blanket as Monteverde can get cool, staff very helpful (also in booking activities)

Nice staff, not a nice room.

The staff was really friendly and relaxt. Check-in was easy. They we're helpful.

The room is poorly finished. Like, the paint was on places where it doesn't belong to be. The walls we're thin or there was e big hole somewhere where the sound goes trough.

Basic stay for a good price, close to everything!

Simple but quiet place to stay for a very affordable price. Besides that it is really close to the center with all the shops and restaurants (recommend eating at The Open Kitchen!)

Disappointing

The accommodation was very close to local amenities. The bedrooms were an excellent size for our large party. It was clean.

The bedrooms had no doors, the lights outside were beaming through all night and the walls were paper thin hence quiet noisy at times. Kitchen facilities were extremely basic.

Good location near restaurants and good parking space.

Staff do not speak English, room given was not the one booked, pictures not realistic, window from room leads to common corridor, you can even hear the people talk clearly from next room.

Great location 2 minute walk from the main town. Clean room.

Bathroom was very difficult to get dry after showers etc as no window. A window panel was missing in the bedroom so lots of bugs and mosquitoes could easily get in. On our first night the family next door got drunk and stayed up very late singing and chatting, I'm all for a party on a Friday but the walls were so thin it sounded like the men were singing in our room.

An entire comfortable apartment with equipped kitchen

Comfort of an entire apartment - bathroom, kitchen and TV room with 2 single beds below + upstairs bedroom. Big comfortable bed. The kitchen was equipped with a great coffee maker (and there was some freshly ground coffee waiting for us :D), kettle, fridge, various utensils and an electric frying pan. Lots of space inside. 2 minutes walk to a town centre. Good WIFI. Very nice and helpful hosts. Gracias! :))

We missed having some small coffee/bed tables to put a cup/phone on. No view - all the windows are facing a parking lot, so we had to have the curtains drawn at all times.
