This residence can accommodate 16 guests offering 6 bedrooms (including 2 bunk rooms) and 5 full bathrooms with 2 additional half bathrooms.
This home welcomes you with stunning white, shiplap walls and warm wood flooring - designed to allow for natural light to fill the space. The back of the home has sliding glass doors on each floor, which provides unobstructed gulf views of the beautiful sandy beaches and one-of-a-kind sunsets. The first floor offers a king guest bedroom with access to the backyard, which has a private pool overlooking the beach, and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower and dual vanity sink. There is a spacious living room with comfortable seating that is great for relaxing after a day on the beach. The laundry room and a half bathroom is also located on the first floor for convenience.
The second floor is where the heart of the home is, the grand kitchen. Love this house and pool…. We will be coming back…

Nice home. Great location. Good beach. The day we checked in we noticed the dishwasher door wouldn’t shut. We called maintenance who came out Sunday and determined they couldn’t fix it and it needed an appliance person to come out. Next day we called again and were told they had called someone. I was also advised that refrigerators were a more important problem due to food spoilage. I guess that knocked us down a notch. They never showed the entire week and the offset was they brought us paper plates, styrofoam cups and plasticware. I emailed my disappointment on Friday as the week was ending. So far nothing until I got this request for a review. When you spend the amount of money for a week you really don’t want to eat off paper plates the entire time or spend time hand washing dishes.

The house is amazing. The location is the best! The house was very clean. The only issue we had was the water had a horrible sulfur smell. We didn’t cook a lot because we didn’t want to use the water. The bikes that we used from the house were great! We would definitely come back.

Ok but minimal stocking. I don’t mind buying my own paper towels, but a paper towel holder would be nice. As. Would basic salt & pepper & Kleenex.
Not having use of elevator is a pain for luggage on 3rd & 4th floor. All property issues handled as promptly as possible. But bad breaker for DR was an issue last 3-4 days. Etc etc.

Everything was clean and lovely except the grill which had not been cleaned for a very long time.
Property manager wasn’t timely but the results were excellent. He did everything we asked but not in a timely manner.
Pool guy came and hardly cleaned the pool; left sand on the steps which was there when we arrived.
Internet was down for half our vacation time so kids had to watch on iPhones.
This all said; we would definitely rent again! Thank you very much!

We had an amazing time with or daughter and nine of her friends for their high school senior trip. The house was incredible, and the location made it even better!! The sunsets, campfires on the beach and the pool made their stay here full of memories that will last a lifetime. We will be booking Summer of 42 again!!

Walk out beach access, spacious property. Property is located between two public access points, so the beach got crowded quickly. Pool was warm. We experienced a malfunctioning elevator, which was repaired halfway through our stay. Price paid was a bit higher than value received. Overall, it’s a very nice property and location.

This was our second year renting this property. It is stunning with beautiful water views. It is a short bike ride and walk to the little center with many restaurants and shops.
This year we did a bonfire on the beach. I would highly recommend it just schedule ahead of time.
Next year we plan on doing a day excursion, either swimming with the dolphins or snorkeling.
The Dune vacation staff is very helpful answering questions. I would definitely recommend this property!

Couldn't have asked for a more beautiful house right on the sand. Communication was easy and quick to respond when we needed anything! 4 floors so don't underestimate that - got good workouts! all very clean! Definitely doesn't come with any little amenities or pantry items so plan to have your own.

The house, view, and location were amazing. Communication with house manager was good. Cleanliness of the house at check in was NOT satisfactory. For the price, it should be spotless, including underneath furniture, corners and edges of floors. The glass showers were water spotted and bedding on one of the beds had some stains. There were dirty socks behind the sofa and jelly beans underneath, and one of the bedrooms had a fingernail on the floor. Also, the dishwasher did a terrible job. Pool was not heated when we arrived and a technician had to come out to fix it before we could use the pool. I would recommend this house for large families IF it was cleaned as it should have been upon arrival.

Our week at Summer of '42 was amazing. The house is gorgeous, and the furnishings are, too. The best part is the easy access to the private beach, especially during busy times when beach space is at a premium. We would definitely stay there again.

We had an amazing time and the property is so nice. With the pool and the beach right in the back yard the kids always had something to do. So many different things to do, shops and many restaurants very close, some within walking distance.

Everything about the house was great! They definitely could use some more throw blankets and extra blankets/pillows for the house. I did contact the rental company the day we got there about a couple things but never heard back from them. Other than that it was a great experience and the house was fantastic!

Better than the pics! Great layout, plenty of room for all. Beautiful furnishings and artwork in the home. Very well maintained. We had a great experience and of course you can’t beat the views and location.

Phenomenal property, views and very well appointed. I would however caution that many daily items to cook or functions in the kitchen are not present. Also, bring your own items to be able to replenish, like trash bag (none supplied).

Perfect Home in the Perfect Location
Family had a wonderful week. The home is spectacular. Exceeded our expectations in almost every way. The pool was fantastic and every bedroom had an amazing bathroom and closet. Loved the balconies and ocean views. Kitchen was great and all the fridges were enough to store food beer/wine. Home is brand new and the beds were super comfortable. We bought and left some games there for future guests. Access to the PRIVATE beach was killer and they had chairs and umbrella setup for us every morning . Sunsets were breathtaking and to die for. Responsive owner. Had some mechanical issue with home and they were extremely communicative and responded and addressed immediately and made it right. We will be back for sure.

Best house on the beach!
This property is amazing! We were three families. Plenty of room and worth every penny. Location and amenities were excellent. The house is better than the pictures and description. Definitely will stay here again.

Beautiful property
Beautiful!! We loved where it was, the views are amazing, and it is nice to have bikes on hand. The beach is private, if I recall, so we did not have anyone sitting on top of us like the beach west of us did.
The water was gorgeous and clear. Maybe it was the time of year (early may) but we didn’t have any seeweed. From 2nd floor balcony we could see dolphin, stingrays, and at dawn even a small shark.
The house is big enough that our 11 +babies & toddler) did not feel on top of each other. Crying babies did not disturb anyone’s sleep (except mom and grandmother’s of course.) So good sound insulation.
There is a table for 4 on small 2nd floor balcony which was the perfect place in the morning to have coffee.
No pantry but more than enough cabinets to store food. Kitchen was fully stocked with any gadget, pan, or plate we needed.
An ice machine has been installed since the pictures were taken which was a definite necessity.
When the gas grill started to smell of gas (not in use), management had problem taken care of within 30 minutes and a portable replacement appeared by the afternoon. The repair people were great.
We would definitely stay here again.
Negatives: no TVs in 4th floor bedrooms (not that we watched any tv) and the balcony on kitchen level is not big enough for lounging chairs.
One big wish: whole house filtered water or at least for kitchen and ice machine. The local water has an awful sulphur smell. (But others were fine with that and big hugs of bottled water solved this.
This is a new house so there are no games or puzzles left behind by other renters.
This house met every expectation I had plus more. Really, really beautiful.
