TWO kitchens with dining areas, a cozy living room, a roomy master bedroom and bath, a screened porch dining area, as well as a covered porch and fire pit. Perfect place for a large family getaway! This cabin is located on the beautiful White river. The river was crystal clear, perfect for fishing, wading, and kayaking. We spent hours on the back porch.(covered patio and a screened-in porch) The cabin was cute and very clean. The two kitchens had everything we needed. Pool table and games for the kids. Plenty of beds. We didn’t want to leave!!! We will be back

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this house with a large group. It has plenty of bedrooms and beds for kids or adults. The master bedroom downstairs is a little awkward as everyone has to pass that room to make it to the back porch or upstairs. The grill was on the smaller side but it worked. Overall a very good vacation rental for large group.

Set in the center of the house, you have to go through it to get to other rooms, the second kitchen and back porch.

The property was a great fit for all 10 of us. The house was clean and spacious. The outdoor life of the house with the fire pit, the deck, the screened in patio and the view of the river was breath taking. The owners were very responsive with any needs or questions. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a good time at great place on the White River.

The home & location were absolutely perfect for our group of friends and family. We cooked breakfast and supper every day and had all the supplies we needed. The beds were comfy. It’s not easy finding a home to accompany 11 adults, especially from 2 families, but this rental was more than we could’ve asked for. There was plenty of rooms/beds & bathrooms for everyone, plus some. The location was amazing; and we can’t wait to go back. It's a house on a hillside overlooking the White River. The river is crazy, It goes up and down from 1/4 full to completely filled with water through the day, as controllers upstream let out more or less water in generating electricity. The current is swift. It was OK for us, including little children, because we watched them carefully.
The house is spread out enough that some people were able to make noise in one section while others enjoyed quiet.
Two kitchens, one at each end.
The kids had fun stoking a campfire in the fire ring. Wood was provided.
One nearby restaurant, which also rents canoes and kayaks, sells fishing supplies.
Mountain View is a 10 minute drive away with more restaurants, music, etc.
Ideal for a group that mostly wants to do its own cooking, which we did.

This home is wonderful and so special! There are 18 sleeping places, 20 if you count the pull-out couch!! With two kitchen areas, the food was a breeze to prepare, serve, and eat. Our game center was the screened back porch and our visiting center was the long back porch with plenty of chairs and fire pit with wood provided. There was another game room upstairs, but we loved the outdoor space for Mexican Train games. The whole Mountain View area was easily accessible but not too close to feel the crowds. This was our second visit. We are also scheduled for next year.

I'm a first time VRBO renter. This couldn't of been easier and the property was just as listed. We did contact the owner about a small issue but it was handled quickly and it was no big hassle to get it resolved. The stay was very nice. Accommodations were very comfortable and everything is basically provided for. The view and serenity was just what we were wanting. The family has already asked to book this place again on our next trip to Arkansas. Thank you all so much for making this so easy.

We enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of room. Enjoyed sitting on the porch looking out at the River. The only issue we had was the dishwasher didn't work in the main Kitchen and it could use some attention, but with that said we would stay here again. It was a very nice place and clean.

House was big enough for our large family
The dishwasher in the main kitchen was broken, there were ants all over cabinets and we saw a mouse. Thankfully, I was able to call my son ( who works for pest control company and was coming the day after we arrived) and he brought something to kill the ants and sticky trap for the mouse. The upstairs shower leaked through the floor into kitchen underneath. The day after we arrived the owner sent us a text about the broken dishwasher and shower. Maybe those were things that just happened, but really should have been told to us before we arrived. We enjoyed the house other than those things

Best family Vacation
We have a large family from all around. Wanted a place for all of us to get together. This place did not disappoint. There was plenty of beds, rooms for us all to spread out. Having an extra kitchen off the porch was awesome which is where we spent all our time. The view was beautiful and super close to Anglers where we put in our canoes/ kayaks everyday. Beds were amazingly comfortable too. We felt like there were just a few minor repairs needed. Dishwasher in large kitchen needed attention, upstairs shower door easily came off it's tracks and one of the fans on back porch was unusable as it made way too much noise. These were very minor and did not affect our stay in any way. Wish it was pet friendly though. We had a great time and made some amazing memories. Would definitely stay again as we so love the area. Thanks for letting us stay at your place.

Everyone 78 to 14 had a wonderful time at this location!!! We enjoyed the fire ring off the big back porch as well as the screened in porch for Mexican Train! Everyone was happy with his/her bed and we managed the showering quite well even with a large group! The decor was perfect! We used both kitchens and both ovens! We have never stayed in any rental that was as well stocked as this one!! There were plenty of plates and silverware, bowls, baking sheets, and muffin tins to feed our crowd! The washer and dryer were so helpful!! Overall a 10 from everyone, even though the score goes to 5!! The living room was too small for all or us, but there were plenty of places to go to break into smaller groups! Definitely a keeper!!!

Wonderful wedding weekend
We enjoyed our stay. We were attending a wedding for a family member and wanted to stay together. This was the perfect solution for us. There were 12 of us in total and everyone who wanted to have their own bed had one. It was nice to have the whole cabin and the property for our use. We wanted to be able to gather and spend time together so this was the best place for us. Everything was just as good or better than we anticipated. We felt like it was a home away from home. The kids didn't want to leave. Our host was really amazing and took care of our every need. The view of the river was beautiful. We would recommend this place and would definitely return in the future.

Loved the size. Great because we could put young ones to bed while others stayed up visiting. Loved the fire pit. Lots of room for kids to play. Extra fridge was wonderful for all the food. Wish there were other rentals that were closer for other families. Nice to have all of us close together but we made it work.

Our three families had a wonderful 4-day stay in this log cabin. It was spacious, had lots of sitting tables for meals and games, and a beautiful view of the White River. We enjoyed the bonfire area, outdoor grill, and rocking chairs. Many hikes are available nearby and quaint shopping opportunities downtown. And we saw deer and a bald eagle. Just a perfect stay for a large group!

Church Young Adult Retreat
The Caddis Lodge is a great facility! We had 17 young adults stay the weekend for a Church retreat and we had more than enough room to spread out to visit or gather up for Bible studies. The local right on the river and near Mountain View provided us with ample recreation options. We will likely book the Caddis Lodge again!
