Un cadre magnifique mais une ambiance froide et un très mauvais rapport qualité/prix

Localisation parfaite, à proximité des plages tout en étant en pleine nature. Le cadre est magnifique (le parc, les maisons, la piscine), les chambres sont grandes.

Plus de 300€ la nuit pour ne même pas avoir une bouteille d'eau à disposition dans les chambres et facturer des suppléments au petit-déjeuner (omelette ou fruits pressés) n'est pas acceptable. Pas de pain frais le matin, les jus sont artificiels, café amer. Dîner beaucoup trop cher (notamment couverts et boissons) et portions minuscules. Se veut gastronomique mais très loin des standards de la région. Service très froid, aucune convivialité, on a l'impression de les déranger. Literie moyenne pour un 4 étoiles. Enfin, la piscine n'est pas chauffée, impossible de se baigner en octobre. Tout pourrait être parfait dans un cadre pareil mais, en l'état actuel, ne vaut pas du tout le prix.

Ein romantisches Kleinod, verborgen im Landesinnern. Ideal zum Ausspannen!

Etwas im Outback gelegen, jedoch wunderschöne und ruhige Anlage. Supernettes und hilfreiches Personal. Wir erhielten ein Upgrade in ein traumhaftes Zimmer mit eigenem Pool. Sehr stilvolle und rustikale Einrichtung, absolut passend zum Exterior. Weinliebhaber aufgepasst: im Restaurant gibt es Supertoskaner als offener Wein (!!!). Das Frühstück nicht zu üppig und rustikal aber lecker mit regionalen Köstlichkeiten.

Nichts zu beanstanden.

Stunning, picturesque location; green & rolling countryside, surrounded by mountains. Just a few minutes from the local town, with everything you might need but also approx 15 minutes drive to the beautiful Costa Smeralda. Excellent service. A very special place.

This is being extremely picky because everything else was perfect, but if I had to mention something, there were just a few utensils missing from villa kitchen. Nothing you couldn’t work round though!

Excellent grounds, service and experience

Excellent surrounding grounds, immaculately maintained, friendly service personnel. Nice pool and cocktail bar, ample breakfast, large suites.

Dinner could include more casual options for families / children. Understand this is not the aim of the restaurant which is fine - plenty of options outside the hotel within driving distance.

Loved it, but from five to four

Unfortunately, I’ll give this hotel four stars. Why? The restaurant never gave us a bill with the amount but a paper with what we ordered. When I asked about it, the receptionist said I should do the counting because the prices are at the Menu. Guess what?! I’m on vacation, I shouldn’t be doing this. We have never experienced this anywhere else. How do I know I wasn’t cheated? Sorry but this is a no go! Especially for tourists outside of Italy.

Dream holiday

Luxury, comfort, spectacular views. Great pool, friendly hotel staff, fluent in English.

We really didn't like restaurant food. Very nice looking food but tasteless and expensive. The breakfast was good (but you have to pay extra for the children's pancakes), the lunch was not bad, but we did not repeat the dinner. The exception is the cocktails, they were spectacular.

A must recommend for anyone visiting Sardinia!

a beautiful hotel with amazing views. the facilities are great but the staff even more so. Anna & Elisa were very helpful, going above and beyond to arrange everything we needed the staff full stop (bfast, the outdoor bar) (sorry can’t remember their names) were awesome!

additional cost for omelettes a little surprising, would have been nice if they’re included in the bfast but bfast itself was still very good

Beautiful setting but very limited eating options for a place in the middle of nowhere....

We stayed at this upscale country resort for a week - it is in beautiful gardens and surrounded by lovely countryside. Our suite was large with a good size bathroom but unforunately our view from the front terrace was obscured by a tall hedge (which had to be there for safety purposes but it was a shame we did not have a better view as my husband is a keen birder). The pool area was nice but it was quite windy and rainy when we were there so did not experience it to the max. The bar guy Aldo was incredible and I had a Pinacolada every day as I became addicted to them - made with fresh pineapple.

The eating options were terribly disappointing. The only restaurant on site is incredibly formal and ridiculously expensive! Our meal on the first night was over £200 for three courses each and a bottle of wine - which made it unsustainable to eat there every night. Plus the menu was very limited and a bit too 'fancy' (and we love gourmet food!). We just wanted some unpretentious Sardinian cooking. We also tried the lunch menu - one of us ordered the spaghetti in tomato sauce and it was the smallest portion I had ever seen and cost about £18. If you just want a snack, you can't get one at all (although Aldo did make us a toasted sandwich in the bar the first day we arrived on special request). It would seem sensible to make the bar area (which is on the other side of the grounds so it takes ages to get a gin and tonic if you order one in the restaurant!) into a casual dining area to give people more options. We had no choice but to drive to the local town or countryside restaurants for dinner every night which meant my husband could not drink with his meal. In fact on several occasions, we ate cheese, ham and bread on our room terrace with a lovely bottle of red purchased at the local supermarket - not to save money but just because we didn't want formal dining. A real shame for our holiday. By the way - Sardinian wine is excellent.

Beautiful property, amazing staff, will be back!

I don’t know how this place isn’t a 5 star! Beautiful property, large rooms. Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Everyday we came back from breakfast our rooms were cleaned. The whole property was spotless. Beautiful view and sunsets from The property. Great location, about 15-20 minutes drive to all the spots we wanted to see. The bartenders Aldo & simone were very personable, attentive and made our time extra special. Francesca and the rest of the team at the front desk took care of all of our reservations, and recommendations for beaches and dining. The was our second time in sardina, and we would absolutely stay again and stay at stazzo lu ciaccaru!

Lovely property

Wonderful traditional Italian property, with a dreamy pool and really nice staff. Breakfast was excepcional.

Our room was not soundproofed, therefore you could always be bothered by the guests sleeping next doors. When they did the cleaning service, our shower was not cleaned at all.

disappointed with the attention to detail, however the restaurant manager saved the hotel from getting a bad rating

the buildings were beautiful and taken care of and it was very quiet

the paint in the bathroom was coming off. The handle to get into the suite was off and not straight, I would have expected it to be more perfect for this price.

Very nice hotel made with love to details and very customer oriented staff

Made with love and attention to details, loved the hand written welcome note :) The staff is very helpful and attentive. Spacious rooms, bed & pillows very compfy

Things that could be changed/improved - it was a bit dark at the breakfast buffee - use less noisy lawnmower, a bit disturbing when you want to relax and you hear the noise - may be consider changing to "adults only" concept. The fine dinning experice is ruined when you have babies around watching videos with sound.

The hotel is beautiful and well kept. Location perfect. But the best thing about the hotel is the wonderful employees. Especially Aldo at the bar!!!! and Claudia in the restaurant!

Fantastic location close to everything in the Costa Smeralda with a little bit of tranquillity.

Aldo the cocktail barman made exquisite cocktails and mocktails (which our daughter enjoyed). The Caipirinha was my favourite. The food for lunch and dinner was good. The carbonara was our lunch favourite and the grouper fish for dinner with gazpacho was lovely. Everyone should visit San Pantaleo in the evening. Hotel were excellent at accommodating a yacht trip around the Maddalena islands which was a highlight of our stay in the north.

Some of the staff in the restaurant were a little cold. The hotel could have some more swimming pool activities… bat and ball, floats etc. In my opinion you shouldn’t need to pay extra for freshly squeezed orange juice or pancakes for breakfast. We did have better breakfasts elsewhere in Sardinia.
