About this house rental
Welcome to the Dragon's Den! This isn't your typical fantasy dragon's lair. Come to relax and unwind or have a family game night! This home has room for everyone with nearly 3,000 sqft of living space. There are plenty of sleeping options with 4 bedrooms, a Family and Living Room plus a loft with a pool table. The spacious Kitchen and Dining are perfect for holiday gatherings and gourmet meals. Snuggle up by the fire at night and enjoy the warmth of The Dragon's Den.
The entry level includes a large living area, a dining area, fully equipped kitchen, the laundry room, a guest bathroom, a guest bedroom, and the master bedroom/bathroom. This level also accesses the front deck as well as the back deck/back yard.
The upper level of the home includes a two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a family room that is stocked with games, a sofa bed and a pool table
This home is ideal for people who are unable to walk a lot of stairs. With only 7-8 stairs into the home once inside its single level living to the master and additional bedroom plus 2 bathrooms with walk-in showers. The Kitchen, Living and Dining plus laundry is on the level with no stairs. The back and front deck are also accessible with ease.
The garage is not available to guests and locked cabinets and closets in the home.
**Lake Arrowhead is a private lake and short-term renters are not permitted access to the Lake, Lake trails, Peninsula Park, and Grass Valley Park as of September 28th, 2020. Available lakes for swimming, fishing, and walking trails are Lake Gregory in Crestline, Lake Silverwood, and Big Bear Lake in Big Bear. Lake availability will vary by season.
The Dogwood Cabins is open 7 days a week from 8 am to 7 pm. You may call or text. If there is an emergency please call number provided and we will respond immediately.
Located right off the highway, this home is around the corner from the local town of Cedar Glen where you can access restaurants, a small grocery store, and a gas station. Cedar Glen Inn and the Malt Shop are two of our well-loved local dining establishments, and are located less than a mile from the Dragon's Den! This is a full-time neighborhood with full-time residents. We do ask that the quiet hours are followed.
There is a Mini Jensen's Grocery Store close by and Cedar Glenn Shopping Center with a few restaurants that are walkable. Lake Arrowhead Village is 1.8 miles away, BlueJay Village is 3.4 miles, SkyPark Santa's Village is 2.7 miles, Snow Valley Ski Resort is 14 miles and Big Bear is 25 miles away.
We require all guests to sign our contract prior to entry into the home.
The home has a faux log fireplace in the Living Room, do not burn real wood in the fireplace.
The home has central heat, but the upper-level bedrooms have space heaters for heat. There is no Air Conditioning in this home.
The BBQ is propane, propane is not provided, but if some is left by a previous guest it may be used or exchanged locally.
*Due to COVID-19* The Mountain is experiencing a propane shortage, and you may have a hard time finding propane locally on the Mountain.
The TVs have either Apple TV or Firesticks. The Living Room and Family Room have DVD players with several DVDs.
We highly recommend carrying chains/cables with tensioners during the winter. CalTrans will have chain checkpoints and require you to show them or in some cases put them on. to be allowed up the mountain.

There is no smoking inside or outside the property, this includes but not limited to Cigarettes, Marijuana, and Cigars. If we smell smoke in the home there will be an additional $250 cleaning fee. If we find burn marks in any furniture, the guest is responsible for replacement costs.
We do not enjoy removing pets or additional guests from the home as well as charging additional fees. We kindly ask that guests follow all house rules to avoid any issues.
Smoking inside or outside the home, any type of drug usage legal or not, underage drinking, violating quiet hours, exceeding occupancy limits or vehicle limits please do to rent this home. We do not enjoy removing people from our home, but the safety of our guests, home, and neighbors comes first.
This home does not allow pets. Service dog fraud is a crime. CA Penal Code 365.7 Punishment may be up to a maximum penalty of $1,000 per instance and up to 6 months in jail. Please note that service animals are defined by the ADA as: Dogs that are individually trained to do worker perform tasks for people with disabilities. Service animals are working animals, not pets. The work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person's disability. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do NOT qualify as service animals. under the ADA. Any attempt to present a comfort or emotional support service animal or pet as a service dog is fraud.
When the home is not rented and occupied, the home is owner occupied, including with a family member who has severe pet dander allergies. By not having guests with pets in the home we also assure guests with serious pet dander allergies, asthma or other serious health issues may also book this home, so we are unable to accommodate pets. Additionally, homeowner’s insurance is inordinately high for vacation rentals, and limited, particularly in this region, a fire zone. The policy on this home is expensive and does not allow dogs, regardless of breed. Regardless, the law requires any request for a reasonable accommodation to be made in advance, so if you feel your circumstances reflect an exception, you must contact us to discuss before renting so we can assess on a case by case basis. Your animal will be required to leave if you do not proceed accordingly and demonstrate the need for a reasonable accommodation exists. Our agency has homes that permit dogs and we can give you resources and leads for other rentals able to accommodate you.
Please be mindful Airbnb must abide by the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) regarding what qualifies as a “reasonable accommodation” and one must consider some individuals need accommodations regarding service dogs and emotional support animals, while others, also protected under the FEHA. In other words, you should not interpret any Airbnb language allowing service animals and ESA dogs as automatic approval to access to all homes. -No smoking inside or outside the property. This includes but is not limited to marijuana, cigarettes, pipe, cigars, or vape pens. If we smell any smoke/marijuana inside the home, there will be an additional $250 fee.
-No outdoor fires of any kind
-If this is a Pet-Friendly home, all pets must be approved by management. Please pick up all feces left behind by your pet and place in the outside trashcan.

We had a large group of teens to seniors and this place was perfect. Not to many stairs for those that couldn't and a great hang out spot for the teens upstairs. There were many games and entertainment to choose from. The house was fully stocked and ready for us. The couple of times I reached out to ask silly questions they were so quick to reply. I would stay here again for sure.

My family and I had a lovely one night stay at the property! The hosts were super communicative before and through our space. We travelled with 7 adults and 5 children and never felt like we were short on space! This cabin is a lot bigger than the pictures give it justice. We would definitely stay here again!!

The property needs to state that the tv us an apple and if they don’t have apple phones they can’t charge the fire stick. There were no oven mitts or potholders. Also that paper towels and toilet paper are limited and you need purchase more.

This property was perfect for a large family gathering. It had a large kitchen, 3 dining tables, 3 large sectionals, 3 bathrooms and 3 showers, a pool table, and close to the village. Highly recommend.

Great Vacation
Nice roomy home. On site manager was wonderful, knowledgeable, very friendly and helpful. We had a
