Great distance from college, quiet neighborhood, and comfortable beds. The house next door looks like it doesn’t belong on the street as it is pretty junky. Host is helpful and overall good stay!

This home was just as advertised. It was lovely, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. It was the perfect place to stay while visiting from out of town.

Will definitely try to stay here again. Our daughter is a rising freshman and USC and this was a perfect location for that. Quiet, cute neighborhood- my husband and I walked around every evening. I sat on the front porch and read in the mornings and evenings. Easy to get to campus and the surrounding city locations. Bring bug spray! The mosquitoes ate me alive, but that’s just a summer SC thing! Communication with owner was perfection. We loved our stay here!

Updated Rosewood Roost surpassed our expectations. It had everything we needed. The beds were super comfy. The location was perfect. My only regret is that I didn't discover this place sooner! I would highly recommend and give it a 10/10.

A friend of mine and I recently stayed at the Rosewood Roost while in Columbia to see Leanne Morgan's comedy show. I was initially looking for a hotel room, but they were all so expensive, I went to VRBO and found this little gem. The host was wonderful--easy to reach, very helpful and informative, and made us feel very welcome. The house itself is definitely a good-things-come-in-small packages find. It was gorgeous and very conveniently located to everything we did during our stay, and we enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch and watching the neighbors walk their dogs. We found some great sights to see and restaurants to try in Columbia but there was lots more to do that we couldn't fit in, so we hope to go back soon. If we do, I'll definitely be looking to book a second stay at Rosewood Roost!

Only a little over an hour to Augusta and minutes from the South Carolina University campus. Great local restaurants and home in quiet neighborhood near a school. Convenient to everything we needed. If we get lucky enough to get Masters tickets again, we will be sure to be looking up this property!

We stayed here during our son's graduation from BCT at Ft. Jackson. It was only about a 15 minute drive to base. The neighborhood was quiet yet close to anything that you need, including some really great parks The beds were comfy, the house was cozy and had all of the amenities that you need! I highly suggest booking this house!

This property is in an older neighborhood, but the house itself has been nicely upgraded. When we first arrived, we were concerned that the house next door must be owned by a hoarder. There was 'stuff' consuming the property but it turned out not to be a concern. There was no noise and the area felt safe. The home itself really is a home away from home. We had everything we needed and the owners were great with communication and helping us feel welcome. It is very clean, and quiet, and even has a washer and dryer. If visiting again, we will give this rental another look. It really was close to everything we wanted to see.

The host was so gracious in letting us stay at her beautiful and clean home at the last minute when our other reservation had some issues. It was literally perfect! The beds were comfortable, it was spotless, and we felt right at home! The host was easy to reach and the house was close to where we had to move our daughter in. We would love to stay again!

So clean and nicely remodeled. Location was perfect just as host had communicated. Only 10 min from Fort Jackson which is where are trip was to. The snacks and water in the kitchen were an added much appreciated touch. I would definitely stay there again if I visit Columbia in the future

While we only stayed for two nights and spent little time at the rental while we were at Admitted Student’s Day, it was perfect. Gave our family of 4 a little more room to move around than a hotel room. House was cute and nicely decorated. Loved the little coffee bar! Would definitely stay again!

Very quiet location yet close to so much. Nicely updated and appointed, I had everything I needed. I brought folding chairs for the backyard without realizing the house has some already. No cable so no local broadcast news if that's important to you. I would definitely stay here again.

This was absolutely perfect for our visit to USC. The quiet neighborhood was exactly what we needed after busy days exploring the campus. Great restaurants nearby and a quick trip to the campus with a drive-thru Starbucks on the way. The house itself was perfectly furnished and welcoming! Highly recommend.

Convenient location, wonderful neighborhood, great kitchen, very comfortable beds. We enjoyed our stay to attend our son’s graduation from basic training at Ft. Jackson. The house was great for what we needed. 2 comments to keep in mind if you rent this house, internet is weak and only TV is Netflix.

This is our second time staying at Rosewood Roost. We love it! It is clean, cute, comfortable, and in a great location. The owners are easy to work with and communicate quickly and well. They also leave snacks which is a nice treat! The $20 for pizza, doughnuts, or credit toward the stay for second-time renters is so thoughtful and kind! We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here when our son graduated from Boot Camp. It was less than 15 minutes from Ft. Jackson. The house was fine though there could be a bit more attention to detail when it comes to cleaning (kitchen sink, along baseboards, a couple of stains on the sofas, etc) but I am admittedly a clean freak. Overall I would recommend it.
