This is possibly the most beautiful home I’ve had the pleasure of renting. My family and I enjoyed the serenity of the entire property. House was spacious and clean with attention down to the smallest details. You can see the love the owners have put into this house. Marty is such a great host. Quick to answer questions and will keep you informed on events in the area. House is stocked with everything you will need and more. There is absolutely nothing I would change about this place and look forward to renting it again in the future.

Our family of “8” could not have asked for a more comfortable & beautiful stay! Just what we needed as we were in preparation for our son’s wedding day! We all loved the lay out of the house - the interior was charming & eclectic! My husband is a master carpenter of 50 years and said the craftsmanship was “top-notch!” All of the many added touches from Marty & Flip were so thoughtful in every way & very welcoming ! My brother in law suggested “this should be the place for our next family reunion!”
We especially enjoyed the fire pit in the morning with a cup of coffee (& Marty’s pie!!) watching the lake wildlife. Oh & Martys pie ??! Omgosh - DeeeLish .. What a treat .. All in All so glad we the pleasure of staying here - Truly a “hidden gem !”

Nothing compares to this house and property. We love it here. So clean and nice. You have acres of land to roam right in the city on a lake! The major details and things you would excpect from a great rental are all taken care perfectly, but that's not all. I'm amazed every visit by the small personlized details. Marty and Flip go way above and beyond to make this a perfect stay everytime. They care about what they do and it shows.

Marty and Flip went way above and beyond. We booked this house last minute and when we arrived less than 24 hours after booking they had the entire home set up just for us. This house is close to everything you might need but you feel miles away from everything. The house was spotless. cleanest house we have ever stayed in. You can't see or hear any neighbors because this lakefront house sits on so much land. so peaceful.
I have to mention again how the hosts went WAY above and beyond for us and from the other reviews they do the same for all guests. We booked this house again for next month just hours after arriving.

Marty and Flip have a lovely lake home and went above and beyond with their thoughtful welcome. They provided for unexpected details that made our family Spring break getaway super special with our pets. We enjoyed the local restaurant recommendations, sunset views from the back patio, Marty's apple pie, gator watching, a Space X launch from the fields across the home and kayaking at Kings Landing. This hands down was the most beautiful place to stay! Marty is a wonderful hostess who goes above and beyond to make your stay feel like home. We stayed for parents 60th Anniversary. Had good times relaxing on the porch with beautiful views. We ordered the apple pie-DELICIOUS! Decorations were great! I’ve never stayed at a place that the host and hostess have so many personal touches to make it so welcoming. Will definitely be back! Thank you so much!

Wonderful vacation home on a lake! Wildlife galore and the place is gorgeous! So much attention to detail and thoughtfulness from our hosts Marty and Flip. We loved, loved, loved staying here for a family wedding. And our pups did as well. Highly recommend! Oh and order the pies - delicious!!

We can’t say enough about how perfect this house is. Flawless! Our family loved every moment. The sunsets are gorgeous. Had everything we needed and things we didn’t know we needed…like pies so delicious we couldn’t stop eating them! Flip & Marty were amazing! Even thought of putting out a UK flag on the mantle for our son visiting from the UK! Can’t say enough…sad to leave.

We stayed here for over a week. It was perfect for us. The property was great. We loved being so close to everything but not needing to feel like we were in the city. Our dogs had room to run and play outside. I would stay again for sure.

This property has everything you could possibly need and everything is labeled so you know where things are. Marty and Flip are great hosts and can be easily reached if you have a question. The homemade pies that Marty makes are outstanding! The personal touches that went into our stay were so thoughtful. This is by far the best place we have stayed (again).

Our stay at this home was wonderful! My family of 8 adults, 2 kids, and a dog was more than comfortable! Very clean and well organized. I love that most cabinets were labeled making it easier to find items. We enjoyed the outdoor area and the view every morning and afternoon. Response from hosts was prompt and answered all my questions. We would love to return one day!

Every Attention to Detail
If you are looking to find a roomy and lovely lake front home, come to Marty and Flip’s well-appointed retreat. The house is a showcase of beautifully crafted floors, walls and ceilings, exquisitely tiled bathrooms and a kitchen equipped for every cooking challenge. The surroundings bring a sense of serenity and rest with a lot of outdoor space for your pets. And make sure you order one of Marty’s pies. We had the Apple and also the Banana Cream and they were delicious!! I would certainly love to be a guest in their home again whenever I have the opportunity. Thanks for everything Marty and Flip!

Perfect Spot
The hosts had thought of everything and provided many extras. Snacks, wine(s), waters, etc. Identifier tags were throughout the house which was very helpful. The setting is lovely, and the walkway through the wooded area was a wonderful added plus. Am sharing with friends who travel to Orlando each year. It is a real find, probably my very best VRBO experiences. The two friends travelling with me shared
my views totally. We also ordered an apple pie and a key lime pie. Both were delicious, the key lime edged the apple out only slightly as our favorite of the two. Be sure to order one!

A must stay property!
Our family had a wonderful stay at the Peace and Pie property. We will absolutely stay here again, no need to even look for any other option. This home has it covered, you don't need to bring a single item...even things you hadn't realized you'd need. Loved the lake for bird and gator watching. Very private location yet close proximity to Universal as well as take out and grocery. Absolutely the cleanest place we've every stayed. Order the pies, you won't be disappointed!

Secluded paradise
This beautiful property is a secluded paradise with lovely sunsets over a picturesque lake, walking paths amidst bamboo and tropical plants, a firepit, outdoor games, and comfy patio furniture. The sounds of nature abound with owls, coyote, and bamboo and the sightings of cormorants, ducks, wild ibis, and the possibility of an alligator. The house has every amenity one could desire with decorative tags marking everything from picnic supplies to spices. The decorative touches are gorgeous – tropical wallpaper inside closets, colorful bathroom tile, welcoming furniture and comfy bedding and linens. Marty’s Coconut banana cream pie was beyond delicious and topped with a Happy Birthday sign. We had wine in the refrigerator, chilled glasses in the freezer, Birthday banners. We were fortunate to visit with the owners who were very welcoming, attentive, and answered our every question. We spent our most enjoyable times relaxing on the patio savoring the beauty.

An amazing, unique, and excellent rental property
Stating that this rental was the perfect rental property is an understatement. The communication with the owners since the beginning was flawless and clear. The house set-up was perfect in every aspect, from the kitchen, all rooms, living room areas, and even the yard. Our experience was simply amazing. Perfect location to sit back, relax, and spend some tranquility time by the lake. We ordered two pies from the owners, a coconut and an apple pie, and they were delicious as stated on previous reviews.

Amazing Stay!
Marty and Flip have thought of everything! The house was spotless when we arrived and had everything you possibly could need. The lake view was beautiful and peaceful. Definitely, Marty’s pies were a huge bonus! We ordered a couple of pies from Marty ahead of time. Ended up eating one whole pie the first night because it was so good. Of course, we had to order another.one. We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our holiday at the house. We will be back!

Wonderful Place to Stay
Marty and Flip thought of everything and really made the trip special with extra special touches of banners hanging on the gate and in the house for our anniversary and a bottle of champagne in the refrigerator. We also ordered 3 pies and all were delicious! I would definitely recommend and come back to stay.

Wedding planning getaway
House and property are amazing Marty and Flip went above and beyond with all the personal touches. Left us extra toiletries, items in the fridge, bowls for our dog and plenty of towels! So nice to check in and not feel the stress of having to buy basic supplies Our dog loved all the open land to explore! Nothing negative can be said. It is perfection! Will definitely come again!! Beautiful home and location couldn't have been better!!
This oasis is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Our German Shepard enjoyed the freedom and spacious outdoors. We saw plenty of wildlife, coyotes, alligators, squirrels and so many types of birds. Mary and Flip were so considerate of our needs and communication was consistent before/during and after our stay. We are planning on returning to this beautiful oasis, it's one of the best homes we've stay at. Location is the best for days at Universal, only a 15 to 20 minute ride. Don't forget to get one of Marty's pie's, the apple pie she made for my son's 30th birthday was wonderful, not to mention all the decorations she did for him as well. It was a wonderful surprise!!

Piece of Heaven!!
My family and I stayed here for a week in July 2021 for our family vacation And I can literally go on and on about how amazing it was! From start to finish the whole process was great. The owners were on top of all communications, answered all questions were very accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay there super special! She left little gifts for the children and treats in the fridge, we ordered three of the pies and every single one of them was out of this world amazing! The details in each room of this home were so well thought out we truly felt at home, we truly felt safe and comfortable in every way! Any issues that arose they came right over and took care of them immediately and with so much kindness. These people are amazing please take good care of their home and treat them with respect They so deserve it because they put all of their heart into that home and your stay I promise you! Sitting on the back porch overlooking the lake for morning coffee or for evening sunsets was like getting to enjoy a piece of heaven. When it came time to leave I did not want to go. The kids enjoyed fishing in the lake, occasionally we spotted some alligators and other wildlife with the binoculars they provided, there was a beautiful trail to walk for exercise with fun things to look at along the way, the property is so well maintained, everything we needed for cooking was there, everything was beautifully labeled and easy to find. Our family will be coming back here again if the owners will have us 💜 Thank you guys for blessing us with this experience in your beautiful home.

I rented this property for my mom and my aunts birthday as a middle point for my family to meet and to visit Kelly Park Rock Springs (25 min drive). When I pulled up to the gate, it was decorated with a happy birthday sign and couldn’t believe the thoughtfulness. As I was driving in I had the pleasure of meeting Marty, she was so kind and welcoming and that kindness and communication continued throughout the weekend. After getting out of my car I was blown away by the beauty of the property and the quaint style of the house, I just knew I was going to love it and have an amazing weekend. That’s really all I needed but the thoughtfulness and attention to detail continued as I entered the home. The kitchen was decorated with a sign welcoming me, the birthday girls and my family, along with a personalized note from Marty and Flip. I couldn’t wait to explore the beautiful home and was surprised with more happy birthday signs and favors. That little extra touch was so appreciated. The house very comfortably fits 10 people (4 couples, 2 singles) and there’s plenty of room to hang out and enjoy time together. Beware, there are definitely gators in the lake (should be expected in Florida) that you can safely watch from the comfort of the home with the telescope and binoculars that are provided. We even saw cardinals and woodpeckers while enjoying coffee on the patio. This is a perfect property and house for a family trip to enjoy nature and quality time together. I can’t forget the best part... PIE. One of my best experiences in Orlando! This house is amazing! I will be renting this house again if they will have me back! It was great for Family to stretch out relax dog to play in the backyard and beautiful sunset! The host of this property are also equally as impressive. Their attention to detail is second to none. We live in Florida, about 105 minutes from Winter Park, where my daughter was getting married. I spent 3 days between VBRO and AirBNB, searching for a quiet home with a view. We had 10 people who may be there, needed at least 5 bedrooms. Found this house. It looked amazing online. However, this being my first stay, I was skeptical. The too good to be true kept coming up. Communication with Marty and Flip before our stay was exceptional. Once we arrived, I was blown away. My daughter's wedding colors were black, white, silver, and red. The security gate was decorated with silver wedding bells with black and white ribbon. Inside was a welcome board that congratulated my daughter and her fiance'. The living room had a candle display with their initials in wood and more silver bells on the privacy screen. Every room was picture perfect. Inside the refrigerator was beer, a bottle of wine, and a bottle of champagne labeled 'enjoy,' as well as cold bottled water and frozen mugs in the freezer. The place felt like home from day one. We had ordered pies from Marty, and she delivered the pies while we were at the rehearsal dinner. I came home to a warm apple pie in the oven, and cold Coconut, banana cream in the refrigerator. Both looked more like artificial display pies you would see in a bakery. They were picture-perfect, and the flavor OMG, melt in your mouth delicious. With the leftover pie crust, she made cinnamon rolls that reminded me of growing up because my mom used to do it. Our time at the house was amazing. It did not matter if we were sitting on the patio looking at the water or lying on the ground watching the dogs play while listening to the wind through the bamboo. The three big showers with plenty of hot water made the end of the day more relaxing. If there comes a time I need to rent a house in Orlando, 100% I would go back and order pie. NO complaints at all. Marty quickly answered any question I had.
