This private-entry, large newly-renovated master bedroom suite with pillow-topped king bed, breakfast bar, desk and comfy leisure area is ideally located in Malletts Bay, Colchester, Vermont's hub of outdoor lakeside recreation. Walk out the door to woods hiking, snowshoe, x-country, the Colchester/Burlington bikepath, ice skating, kayaking, fishing and breathtaking beach sunsets. Wander nearby natural areas or visit the vibrant downtown areas of Burlington or Winooski, then return to your private suburban getaway for one or two people to relax. Pets welcome.

Outside the 80 inch west window framed by dark chocolate-colored walls, you can spot the lake through the trees and even watch kitesurfers or skaters if the weather is right. The spacious sepia and pink private bathroom features a shower stall and a standalone tub with jacuzzi feature. Garage available to keep your car snug in winter or safely house your sports gear in summer.

Convenient location and easy to find, just one mile from the enchanting Colchester Causeway. Sail Wild Air boat charters are 8 minutes away. Downtown Burlington, UVM and Interstate 89 are a 15 minute drive.

Features include private keypad entry, covered garage, en suite bathroom with shower + jacuzzi tub, A/C (optional), electric fireplace, and coat room. Keurig, speedy wifi, minifridge, microwave, shared patio, tv, and games provided. No kitchen.

Great place to stay! It is a quiet neighborhood with lake access. This place has everything you need and is so organized. Even real cream in the fridge for your coffee! The host is wonderful, prompt to answer questions but also gives space to just be. The bed was very comfortable and had nice linens. Bathroom was clean and had a great shower, didn’t test out the tub. Out of all the places we stayed on our road trip throughout the Northeast, our pup was most comfortable and relaxed here. The park nearby is great for walks and the neighborhood is also good for walking.

We (older couple) stayed here with our dog for several nights during our niece's graduation from UVM. It is clean and quiet; attached to the main house but with it's own private entrance. It is located in a pleasant suburb, within a short walk to a small beach and, in the opposite direction, a large city park with entrance to a hike/bike trail through the woods to the causeway. As mentioned in the description, it's a short drive to Burlington and surrounds.

I cannot say enough good about KT as a host or the location/property in general. Usually when describing a room as cozy it means small. That isn't the case here - this studio was warm and inviting in every way and much bigger than the pictures tell. KT had a sheet with instructions, a binder full of recommendations, and she had coffee, snacks, extra blankets, and a couple of chocolates nicely displayed for me. Communication was always on point - KT provided the checkin information two days before I arrived, we exchanged numbers in case of a power outage or emergency (which saved me when I accidentally left my rental car lights on!), and the check in and out process was extremely smooth. The private entrance to the room was a plus and easy to get to. All of the instructions provided were clear, concise, and thoughtful. The location is quiet and in a beautiful neighborhood. It's an easy walk down to the bay waterfront beach and there are a couple of easily accessible walking/bike paths in the neighborhood. It's about 15 minutes from the Burlington airport. The bed was huge & comfortable. The heater and air conditioner were both easy to operate & quickly brought the room to a comfortable temperature. The jacuzzi tub was very welcome and easy to operate after a long day of hiking, & the towel warmer was appreciated on the chilly, rainy days I spent there. I would absolutely stay here again & recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet stay in a beautiful neighborhood in NW VT.

Our stay was fantastic! The room was comfortable and clean. Located inside a lovely residential neighborhood. Our host had tons of local recommendations. It was conveniently located near downtown Burlington and not too far from the airport. The sights and trails nearby were also great! I highly recommend!

Nice weekend in Vermont! VRBO is in a nice quiet location, but close to all activities. Host was very accommodating and communicated well. Room was cleaned and well stocked with all essentials. Nice to find such a good spot that is pet friendly. Would love to visit again when weather is better and not so rainy! But, we had a nice visit despite the rain!

Fantastic! Such a clean and pretty and very large room in addition to a nice bathroom with jacuzzi tub. Has everything we needed. Also had a futon, a desk, table, refrigerator, dresser with drawers, Keurig, snacks, electric fireplace, etc. Loved the entryway with bench to take off our shoes. It was so roomy even with all the amenities. We stayed for 7 days. The hostess was so kind and asked us to let her know if there was anything we needed. It was so great bc we could walk to the causeway and walk the bike paths. Loved going to The Guilty Plate right there in Colchester for meals.

this property was in a super nice and quiet neighborhood! host was very helpful and communicative. the space was provided with plenty of supplies in clearly labeled cabinets. host also provided detailed instructions on finding the house as well as the entrance. she was available to answer questions at any time, but with all the information given i didn’t have any questions. the room also had plenty of pamphlets and magazines making it easy to find things to do in the area!

The property was beautiful, our room was immaculate, and she had everything you could imagine you would need. Very attentive to us, and went above and beyond my expectations. We only stayed for one night, but I would definitely come back so I could explore more of what the area has to offer.

This was a perfect place and location for me to stay in. Convenient to the bike trail. Convenient to a beautiful beach and sunsets. Comfortable and quiet place to relax after a busy day of adventures. KT was happy to help with anything else i may have needed and she created an ease with communication and directions for arrival.

We had such a fun stay! The location is fantastic! Right on the Island Line Bike trail so we could ride the causeway or ride into Burlington. Within walking distance of a small beach and about two blocks away from boat launch onto Winooski river out into Lake Champlain. We biked and hiked the trail and the apartment provided everything we needed to rest up from the days activities! KT is a great and very responsive host

Very much enjoyed our quiet retreat in Colchester. Short walk to a community beach on Lake Champlain. The sunsets were gorgeous and we loved taking walks in the nearby trails and beaches. Our host was super kind and attentive with lots of ideas of what to do and see.
